I’m in the process of a 6.0 swap into a K5 blazer 4x4. Daily driven, street truck , work truck , occasional light towing. I’m looking for quick spool and don’t care about going to or above 6k rpm. Which one would be better. Oh and on premium pump gas not E85.
I have a 06 3v mustang and I got the BMF New turbo ordering the rest of the piping for it end of the Month I got slimmer fan for it I’m hoping it fits no problem with the kit
I’m building a 2v right now with a mmr engine it’s a low 8.5 compression I need a good set up I have a procharger p1sc that I got cheap to be used on it but I don’t even think ima gonna make good power with that blower since compression is 8.5, so I’m kind of thinking to maybe sell it and use the money I sell it for on a turbo kit, either a on3 or a hellion come the hellion is a very powerful kit and quality from what I hear
looking on your website for a place to buy a on3 kit. I was wanting to make 8-900rwhp! I've got a built 347 dart motor. Thought a 84mm would be a good choice but, can a BMF make that power on pump gas? Also, looking at the on3 fuel system. what size injectors do you think I need for that kind of hp? will the on3 #80 injectors work?
Frank's Channel no longer selling anything. And the bmf has made 1000wheel. But on pump gas... your pushing the limits of pump with that amount of cubes. Ans that beyond what the on3 kit will support with its hit side design
Frank's Channel 88 will spoil late on the street but could be braked into building boost at the track. The bmf is a very nice piece for the street tho and the 84 is in between
Ok I have a question. I keep hearing everybody goes with ON3 and then some others say they're not worth the money because its all chinese made parts. I got an 89 GT with a stock 302 block, GT40X heads, TFS 1 cam and Cobra intake that'll be replace with a Holley Systemax. I want to make between 495 to 580 and Im wondering if ON3s worth the investment. Are they made in the US or is every part of theirs made in China, Taiwan, etc.
I'm looking for early boost (low-mid range) on my Chevy 2500 with 6.0 would the 7665 be a good choice or smaller like the 70mm?The truck never really sees over 4500 rpm.
Gearhead AutoCustomz Thanks for the reply.Choking up,do you mean the turbo will stop making boost and fall on it's face? because I'm kind of ok with that as long as I get bottom end boost and into the mid-range.I never run past 4500.Thanks again.
deegan727 choking up and is the hot side can't handle the flow and raises back pressure causing miss fire issues. And spool up might be faster but won't preform well otherwise. Not a good combo
Gearhead AutoCustomz Got it now thanks.I swear I'm not new to engines, but just boost.lol.What do you recommend for a heavy truck that will be towing occasionally?
I may go with a 67 ball bearing later, hopefully I can get my hands on a good used one. I'm running the 70 with a .96 exhaust housing right now on a completely stock 5.0
