We remove a Vortech V7 JT Trim supercharger off a built 2v mustang gt and install a on3 performance BMF 76/75mm turbo.

Manley forged crankshaft
stock pi heads (upgraded valve springs)
CMS Stage 3.5 blower cams
Typhoon intake manifold
Trickflow valve covers
Spec stage 3+ clutch
Stock t-45 trans

I’m in the midst of this same install. Just with the 70/96 turbo. Good video. I’m also running the TeamZ kit. Was good to see I need to notch it.

I’m in the process of building my convertible street car, I have a mmr 4.75 stroker 1000se engine based off the holy grail block teksid lol, have livernois ported trick flow 44cc 185 series heads blower cams and a procharger kit, just a d1sc for now changed my compression from 8.5 to 9.5 and aiming for 700 street 1000 track upgrading to a f1 next year

Thanks bud. That nitrous life is fun too. I ran a 125 shot for a while on my red car. I got tired of filling a bottle every week and went to a supercharger.

I have a similar kit I'm trying to reinstall, but for the life of me I cannot get the pass. side manifold and the motor mounts to fit at the same time! Upr k member, fwd and down manifolds. Any suggestions?

Nice videos! I'm helping a buddy install the FF kit on his 2 valve and was wondering what you used to tighten the front bottom bolt on driver side manifold? It's super tight in there lol.

We did as many as we could with a short 1/4 inch swivel socket and then it's a hex turn at a time with a wrench.

Just watch power steering line routing and the oil return line routing.

What are you using for engine management? If your using the factory ecu, what tuner are you using? Hptuners doesnt talk to the 97 yet as far as i know, buddy wants to do a blown or turbo 97 gt

Planning on running this kit. I have a 96 mustang GT with built bottom end with true flat top pistons. The motor Is the npi 4.6. (heads & intake) the c/r is sitting around 11.1 now. I'm gonna p&p the heads & get the biggest turbo cam I can with these pistons. What psi would you recommend in order to stay out of detonation to run 91 Octane safely?

We are installing the same kit on the 97 mustang gt on the channel too. 11.1 compression is pretty high and 91 octane pump gas isn't the greatest these days. I would think somewhere around 16 psi is doable. It really come down to whatever the tuner sees while it's on the dyno.

It's not terrible but it will take some mechanical knowledge to install it.

Cant tell if this is a joke or not... the check engine light is guaranteed even with most bolt ons lol, you can get it tuned out which you probably can get done while tuning the car for the turbos anyway
