Carmine: "I hear the Locust EAT emulsion!" Dom: "hey Marcus, you ever seen a Locust eating emulsion?" Marcus: "They can eat shit and die for all I care."
gears and halo are the reason I will never let go of my love for xbox. They made such a memorable impact on my childhood. Still play the games to this day. The music, story, and gameplay are simply... perfect
Xbox is the reason I still game to this day, without Xbox the world of gaming would fail to reach the potential it has today. Xbox is the only reason technology existed for this long. And we would be nothing without it.
Oh man Delta have all that fun again ahh jeez man. And i think i was cool in that Mission few Weeks ago where i ride a wretch 🙄😶😅 oh man Marcus Fenix Crazy Bastard i saw him in Aspho Fields. Trust me He made it again😎
Easily one of the most memorable ost's in the entire series. As a big Halo fan and gearhead myself, the 360 days were undoubtedly the golden ages of both franchises, wish we could go back to those times.
"Humans are no strangers to war. After all, we've been fighting for as long as we can remember. War is all we know. In the past, we fought for imulsion. We fought for country. We fought for freedom. But all that changed after E-Day. For fifteen years, we've been fighting for our very survival against inhuman, genocidal monsters. But it is a fight we cannot continue. Humanity faces extinction, unless we end this war now. We had hoped the Lightmass bombing would decimate the Locust Horde. But they survived. And have returned, stronger than ever. They've brought with them a force that can sink entire cities. Even Jacinto, our last beacon of hope through all these dark days, is now at risk. Soon we'll have nothing left to defend. And that means we have only one option: attack. Gears, what I ask of you now is not an easy thing, but it is necessary. If we are to survive. If we are to live long enough to see the seasons change, our children grow and experience a time of peace that we have never known, then we must now take this fight to the Locust! We will go to where they live and where they breed and we will destroy them! This is the day we take the battle to the heart of the enemy. This is the day that we correct the course of human history! This is the day that we ensure our survival as a species! Soldiers of the COG, my fellow Gears, go forth and bring back the hope of humanity!"
Jason Aguilar You could never be wrong with that comment. Gears of war has one of the best storylines (Including in game data/ Lore ) very close to halo's storyline in my opinion
I remember when i was waiting for this game to come out... i was sooo pumped up i almost went insane... and when i played it... i was speechless... you were good gears of war 3 but i would say that gears of war 2 was the BEST gears of war!!!
Gears 3 was a perfect game for the timeline it was given. The great epic battle already passed, but it was then time to go furthermore into finishing the war for good
I just realized something cool about the Carmines! Their COG helmets represents their personalities and traits. Anthony’s helmet was a standard COG helmet, representing the interesting yet limited time we got to spend with him, making him feel bland as character. He was an interesting and quite charming character, but unfortunately, suffered the same fate as the other nameless Gears who wore his helmet Ben’s helmet was a Variant 2, showing how he’s the second Carmine brother we meet in the series. The design of the helmet made him look youthful, nervous, and inexperienced, yet loyal, enthusiastic, and always ready to help others in need and prove himself to his heroes, especially Marcus Fenix. Clayton’s helmet is a unique, unknown variant, representing how he was the most different and unique of the Carmine brothers. Unlike the others, it made him look experienced, fierce, strong, and angry. It made him look like he was ready to kill the entire Locust species to avenge his brothers and would fight to the bitter end, but die he did not. This is why I love Gears of War, Brothers To The End!
@@HaloWars4648 my gears 3 lv was 295 be fore my game stats buged and reset me to 1 I lost all my hord lv equipment I can't by the silver- back until I get lv 7 in spike strips again. Gears judgment lv 100 I think I reberth once it has been a while since I plarled it.
The problem is that the new devs aka "ThE CoAliTioN" wants to make their own games and not remasters, which is pretty ironic because the reason people still remember this game franchise is two things 1.Gears of War remaster for the XB1 2.Gears5(their own game) being a total failure. At least Gears of War 4 still had a decent multiplayer going for it.
I liked everything about 2 . 3 was my favorite in terms of horde and executions. 2 had a great story (not saying 3 or 1 were bad) but alot of it had balanced out vehicle segments and firefights.
if anyone has played 4 did anyone feel that this time they didnt care much for the story yeh it was a good story but still didnt feel as long as 1.2 and 3 they focused more on multiplayer this time round?
Franklin D. Roosevelt speech after Pearl Harbour got bombed. Americans are no strangers to war after all we’ve been fighting for as long as we remember, war is all we know, in the past we fought lands, we fought for independence, we fought for freedom. But all that changed after Pearl Harbour.
Manatees are no strangers to war. After all, we've been fighting for as long as we can remember. War is all we know. In the past, we fought for fish. We fought for ocean. We fought for freedom. But all that changed after S-Day. For thousands years, we've been fighting for our very survival against inmammal, violent sharks. But it is a fight we cannot continue. Manatees faces extinction, unless we end this war now. We had hoped the Fatmass bombing would decimate the Sharks Horde. But they survived. And have returned, stronger than ever. They've brought with them a force that can sink entire glaciers. Even Antarctica, our last beacon of hope through all these dark days, is now at risk. Soon we'll have nothing left to defend. And that means we have only one option: attack. Manatees, what I ask of you now is not an easy thing, but it is necessary. If we are to survive. If we are to live long enough to see the seasons change, our children grow and experience a time of peace that we have never known, then we must now take this fight to the Sharks! We will go to where they live and where they breed and we will destroy them! This is the day we take the battle to the heart of the enemy. This is the day that we correct the course of Manatees history! This is the day that we ensure our survival as a species! Manatees of the Whole Earth, my fellow Anti-Sharks, go forth and bring back the hope of the manatees!
I remember i got this on my birthday. I wanted to get Borderlands 2 at the time but i did not have enough money so i was suggested Gears of War by the Gamestop lady. It came with the first and second. And to this day i will always look back and wonder if i would have ever played this series if i did get Borderlands 2.
GoW 2 by far has the best campaign out of all the series you meet these amazing badasses (Tai, Dizzy and Skorge) the boss battles were amazing (Like the Skorge boss fight) you also get to ride a BRUMAK and battle a corsper head on with it and infiltrate the whole locust stronghold. yall never gonna experience another gears like this one
Press like if you sorted comments by newest first But seriously, this game was the reason i am so close to my brother. We played this so much, every day, for years. Wave after wave of horde, match after of match of annex. No xbox gold cuz we were poor. Those were the days
This is so powerful, this song encapsulates the last resort of humanity bringing the vas majority of its forces in a desperate attack to the heart of its enemy.... I remember that group of gears we helped deep underground, we never knew what was of them, we bid them farewell and wish them luck, just to never see them again... never to know for certain how things went for them, did they destroy an important enemy site? Did they rescue a group of enslaved an tortured humans? Did they all die deep in the underground? Wherever you went, whathever you did or find, I wish you good luck, my cog companions.
Sadly, the novel reveal their fate. They died in vain. The locust horde in the underground are too strong for them and around 80% of the assault force perished, including those that died on the surface before they could even be deploy underground. Those that did survive either find their way to Ilima city ruin and return to the surface or drowned alongside the locust when seawater flood the hollow. The failure of this assault and the sinking of Jacinto would leads to Prescott's decision to escape to Azura and hope that Adam Fenix's weapon could bail them out somehow, a decision that got solidify after the rise of lambent.
Gears of War was the first game I ever played on the Xbox. Ever since then, I've played every gears game that came out, and read all the books. But out of all the games, Gears 2 will always remain my favorite. The story was amazing, the gameplay was epic, and the multiplayer was fun as all hell. Hopefully this franchise never dies.
The gears of war games are the best xbox games I have ever played I love playing them all especially Gears 1,2,3 they are my favourite I hope they never stop making them
Brothers to the end but in gears 5 most people has forgotten what this means it's all ranks I got kicked for being level 14 that's not the gears way brothers to the end five against all any level.
Man, this is one of the games I grew up on, its so awesome. I recently finished Metro 2033, and the “bad” ending theme reminded me of this masterpiece.
