Yes, you can paint over hard gel nail with nail lacquer. You can remove the nail polish with a non-acetone polish remover so that it does not deteriorate the hard gel. Depending on what you prefer, you can ask your manicurist for soak-off gels or hard gels, which will need to be filed off.

QUESTION: can i get gel nails for strength and length, then paint over it with regular nail polish? would removing it damage the gel nail? should i ask for soak off or file off gel nails? thank you!

I've been using Harmony Foundation, Structure Gel, Gelish polish, top coat. Can I do the same thing only replace the structure gel with the hard gel?

If you mean placing all five nails under a light, yes, you want to do that. However, if you are referring to application, then you want to do them one at a time.

I applied the french white and my nails were cracked after 5 hours wearing it. Do you have any tip? And when I applied the pink builder gel, after that I filed it to make it smooth, then the gel was peeled and comes off. Could you explain why?
