@@scrappycoco6282 nah. The actor doesn't look that monsterous. It's the make up the lighting and of course the facial expression but her resting face doesn't look bad. Unlike homelander.
@@TheCrazeacei dont think so. Makima is always in control. Victoria is not. Makima would let homelander do whatever shes wishes. She would even be able to use edgar as her puppet
I was sympathetic for Cardosa. He was hired for a job he can't even leave, a job he in the end had no control over, for a morally wrong work that he will be made a scapegoat after and he also has a family of his own. Neuman was a dick, like a level 1 dick who is not really bad. This took her to level 5 for me. I can't forgive her for this and that courtroom thing.
Nvm, that would be pretty out of character. She only kills when necessary or when she has an agenda. She isn't Stormfront. Also, her calling him a hero before killing him says she does regret having to do it, so she gives him some comfort before death.
@MON_KEY. She doesn't like mass murder of what she perceives as innocents; she's a power hungry monster but her scene with that one dude from her past and how horrible she actually felt with killing him compared to here? Yeah. I don't think she feels bad killing adults, but from how she's interacted with her daughter and people she cares about (dead dude, Edgar, etc...) she regrets that she has to do it even without showing much hesitation
@@mingming919 that's only because she was best friends with that guy at some point, but for other innocent people she doesn't care at all, she exploded innocent peoples heads at the courthouse
That's because she's not as direct as Homelander he would have just crushed this dude's skull but she lures you into this false sense of security before taking you out, it's almost human.
Marie's eyes do not change when she blood bends, is it because she is younger and possibly got an improved version of Compound V. Making her a little more powerful than Neuman , which is why Neuman wants her on her side.
I mean she already blew up an arm and she can control blood outside of a body with ease which Victoria herself said is exhausting. Marie seems like she has more control and is more powerful, but just less psychotic; she won’t just blow someone’s head up. An arm however…
Imagine your nose bleeds, and you look at the drop of blood before quickly looking up at Victoria, and the last thing you see before your head explodes is her blank face with her white eyes
@@ThePartisan13Supes and humans are the same, the difference is on compound v in their blood so the doctor probably carried the virus having contact with the first experiment but is not affected by it (because he does not have compound v in his blood) , just carrying it and now that neuman is infected it will spread, i think that it will not kill her now but it will spread and evolve after...
That’s because we have someone like Homelander to hate rather than just her. She tries to be more pragmatic about it, but her end goal of supe supremacy is still the same. But she’s not dumb enough to think HL’s gonna leave room for her at the top, so she’s keeping the virus…
Soon as she asked if he was the only one who could do or know x, he should have known he was screwed. Superpowers or not, that is a TERRIFYING question from anyone powerful.
Or, Butcher gets his hands on it, deliberately tells starlight about it knowing she’d go public, Homelander and his army of supes launch a coup, and that gives him justification to use the virus.
I reckon the plot of season 2 will reveal that the supes brought into the college are manufactured as copies of well known supes Which would explain why some characters have the same powers as other popular supes
Not gonna lie this kinda of puts a whole wrench into the plot based of the comics, don’t get me wrong I’m all for the changes they made but idk where it’s going
I think the head exploding powers is dumb. Much like the over-the-top violence of this show. Despite that, I do enjoy the super powers and good guy vs bad guy aspect of the show.
