We check out a Generac GP3250 generator that a customer brought in saying it will not run correctly..
We go over a full diagnosis on the unit then we remove and ultrasonically clean the Ruixing carburetor.
Many times when this happens the unit will only run on choke, will not start or starts but quits running shortly after.
This fix is quick and easy, it will have you back up and running in no time without any parts and few tools/supplies!
Model Number GP3250 Generac 0059821 with 3,250 running watts 3,750 starting watts max
Always check the oil level before starting. Sometimes fuel can be mixed into the crankcase which will cause major issues if started like this.
If the carburetor is really bad, replace it instead of trying to clean it.
You can find a replacement carburetor at amzn.to/483TyOY
If you replace the carburetor, be sure to check and clean the new carburetor because the quality control is not good. This does not matter if you are using OEM or aftermarket replacement. They should both be checked before installing. See our video on this also!
