bro i said for real i didnt understand the things said in the vedio sent by me i thought i could see you do it and follow you ....i didnt see this vedio...now i done the install....thanksss
I appreciate the video Wodzu. I've watched a few now just to familiarize myself better with Reaper. You have straightforward, easy to follow instructions and I like that you used the tools in a best you already made to showcase it. Your channel deserves recognition.
This is getting closer. Lots of chords but they are only in root position. I think it was week 3 of piano in college that we quit using root position and started inverting chords. No musician worth their paycheck plays all of their chords in root position.
fam, you seem to be the guy to ask this, is there a way to sort of emulate the ableton "capture" feature? where you create a midi item of what you just played, even though you were not recording?
I cant get it to work :( . I get the drop down menu and everything but when I right click and insert chord, the chord does not appear. Dont know what the problem might be.
idk why but this doesnt work anymore. the keymap doesn't do anything. I can choose from dk and german. both don't appear in the actions list the menu still works tho but it doesn't perform an action anymore
Hey champ, quick question if you have time to answer. I installed as per steps but when I do right click and choose add chord/scale, it doesn't add anything. Not sure what I am doing wrong :-(
Here's the sumary of the steps ✔ Setup Steps: 1. In Reaper's Options menu, click on "Customize Menus/Toolbars" 2. In the dropdown menu at the top left corner, select "MIDI Piano Roll Context" 3. Click import, then select "chords_scales_arps.ReaperMenu” 4. Close the menu editor. 5. From the Action's menu, choose "Show Action List" 6. In the dropdown menu at the top right corner choose "MIDI Editor" 7. Click import and choose “chords_scales_arps.ReaperKeyMap” If that doesn't work I'm affraid I can't help :/
@@WodzuBeats thanks ! Everything looks like your tutorial , i'm able to see "insert chords / arpeggios" but when i select and then try to write on the piano roll it creates just a single note and not a chord
The most efficient way to do it in Reaper is just using automation. Onluy FL plugins support midi note pan messages as far as I know. Select a track you want to pan and hit "P" to open the pan envelope. Hold control and click on the line to create new points or hold shift and click to create new points along the grid. Hope it helps!
