Generation Selects SUPER MEGATRON: EmGo's Transformers Reviews N' Stuff 

Well, since Super Megs himself is technically a heavy retool of Galvatron, it makes sense his toy would be too.

I'm happy that Battlestars got some Generations love. As well as some Sad Pac-Man.

Never read Battlestars but the color scheme makes want to refer to this as a Generations take on Animated Megatron.

I got this figure in a few weeks ago and I love it, he totally OWNS the mold, completely surpassing Galvatron by miles, when I display him, his main wings are out to the sides and up behind his back for a cooler look! Overall one of the best retools there has been!

So THIS is what happens when fuses all aspects of deception megatron together

When comparing jet mode to Earthrise tank I kind of wanted the tank to go “whoosh” too instead of fade out 😆

I know this guy lives after galvatron...but this is a perfect cybertronian megs in my humble opinion

10:59 Judging by Super Megatron's images in the Japanese TV magazine spreads, this symbol is comprised of the letters S and M meaning Super Megatron.

It would be awesome if Megatron's design of reboot live action movie is a triple changer or great design like this.

This reminds me of Transformers Animated Season 4 Megatron, where he became a triple changer and turned into a spaceship and tank. Robot mode looked very similar, too, except he had two fusion cannons on both arms.

Amid I the only one who still remembers him saying that titans return galvatron was never gonna go back into its jet mode and we see him do it here? XD

I knew the "I'm SUPER" joke was coming. I still laughed aloud. Haven't opened mine yet. This review was the first time I actually felt good about it.

"Squozen." Oh I'm adopting that into my lexicon. Just won this guy off EBay, so I'm happy this review came up, even if it does mean Megs isn't as big as Star Convoy. Oh well. Seems I recall something like this being thought up for the third season of Animated had it not gotten canceled. Would have to check my Allspark Almanac, but I have to wonder if that was the inspiration for this guy.

Galvatron retool or not, I think this is the best CHUG Megatron mold in recent memory.

Still hard to believe this is a remold of the TR Galvatron which at best was tolerable which a nail file helped with the evil battle mask gimmick

The jet mode makes me think of a upgraded animated Megatron with the neas having red diamonds and the arms and little fins underneath.🙂

The alternate headsculpt just makes me think this figure is completely wasted as a Megatron variant.

The "base mode Megs" you are calling is Super Megatron. His other Mode with the new face, chestplate and Wings is his Ultra Megatron Mode.

This could actually work as an IDW Megatron!

Anyone else get an Animated Megatron feel with the arms on this? Looks a LOT like the same mold with the extra kibble of the red mini blades on the forearms. Although I wonder if they are even trying with some of the alt modes... The robot mode looks awesome but the alt modes look like someone just took the robots, squished it into a ball and called it "Cyertronian mode vehicle thingie Whatchamacallit!"

Why is it that when a transformer that's not a jet or airplane but still has a vehicle form that flys, they always get little wings that would not actually work. I do love the new headstyle that matches his movie headsculpt from the last knight.

It actually makes sense to have a super megatron retooled from galvatron. Given his origins.

Personally, i didnt like the Galvatron mold. For some reason, the toe s on mine were SUPER loose and it was hard to to pose.

Robot n Tent mode look good ,aircraft mode looks like something out of Star Wars u know...

You said in the review that ol' Super Mario Kart looked like an X-wing in jet mode, but I have to say it reminds me more of an angry mechanoid Aardvark with its nose painted Rudolph-red for the holidays... not that this is a bad thing, of course.

This megatron looks bayverse, fall of cybertron, and animated combined

Super Megatron this whole time was just a body double paid to be on the front lines in missions Megatron deemed too dangerous for himself. This triple changer packed a lot of fire power but ultimately was overwhelmed and destroyed in combat. This is now my head cannon.
