I swear after all these support buffs and lifeweaver it almost feels like blading dps is a better option

@@sobervision1049 except most of them can evade you faster than you can catch up to them, plus supports are able to heal more than you can damage since they're so overtuned

@@speccy4690 practically the entire support roster counters genji, who is supposed to be a flanker who takes out the backline. anyone who is decent at the hero would go for supports first, but they are practically unkillable now and once you fuck up a dash, youre toast

@@colbywood9936 Supports in general need to be nerfed. Dive is way too hard to take advantage of them and snipers are no longer as spooky as they once were. Literally everything counters Genji in general, but Supports have no fear of him at this point.

Literally this, he feels ASS to play and I've found more success on cass, sojourn and Tracer despite having 10x less experience on them compared to genji.

@@darksplash873 exactly, it's not about his fucking winrate or any numbers or statistics. he FEELS like shit to play. the fantasy of being a cool cyborg ninja dude is gone, he just feels like a budget tracer or echo with an insanely high skill floor for basically no reward. Sorry your main isn’t fun to play, that genuinely sucks but I think I speak for a lot of people when I say the game is less fun when genji is good. The took the utilitarian approach here and did what was better for more people

The real fun part about Genjis is still playing him against his supposed counters and beating them. Although, there is a point where Genji can be absolutely hard countered and that is where you see Genji mains like Necros or Shadder swap to something like torb.

this is why i learned to play pharah and i destroy most of genji's counters. I used to hate pharah in general but i'm ok with it if that counters my counters.

Another option? Genji has a multitude of counters in every role. If people are still this upset about Genji in S4 then its most definitely a skill issue.

@@sobervision1049 In OW once you pick a role, you are stuck, as I reiterate, as a support the only non deflect way to damage genjo was Brigitte or Moira

@@Teeleer playing support against genji isn't about damaging him, it's about nullifying his blade. you can play bap and do that on a 30 second cooldown with lamp, you can pop trans, beatdrop, nano his target so he can't reset, guardian angel, literally EVERY support, some not even in their ult but like every ult, completely shuts down genji blade and you only need ONE of them. remember you have two supports. now lifeweaver can just yeet his teammate who's about to give genji a reset and let him cook into narnia and that's it, blade is done, if you dropped nano on him (which you basically have to do to make it anywhere near decent as an ult now) you've burned two ults and got countered by a 20 second cooldown lifegrip. he definitely needs some compensatory buffs especially since he lost the ammo and movement speed buff from the old DPS passive and never got rebuffed cause of it.

​@@Teeleer You almost had me till you mentioned deflect. As if every support doesn't have a way to avoid or counter Genji, all you have to do is not shoot his deflect no matter what role or hero you are on. Lol

Not to mention how nanoblade is still an insane combo one hitting any support thats not brig.
