This practice is about that time of the month when we're looking to slow down, honor our bodies and give ourselves a little self-love. This sequence is gentle enough to be practice right before, during or even after your period.

A trully gentle practice. I've looked through so many other youtube videos that claim to be gentle period yoga and they're high energy, regular full body stretch routines. Thank you Jessica, you are really talented at what you do.

Have been learning the importance of listening to your body in these times, I woke this morning with super achy shoulders and the usual cramps -this practice was exactly what I needed. Am left feeling relaxed, open in areas of my body where I needed it most and my shoulder pain has eased. Thank you 🙏

Thank you for this lovely session! It didn't feel like 25 minutes, which is great! Usually when I'm on the first few days of my period, I feel like I can't do anything because I'm in pain blabla. But Im so glad I managed to do this and feel productive!

I'm not going to lie I was feeling tense in my entire body! this has saved me, def going to save this for a every month restorative yoga (for my body's sake) Thank you Jessica, your voice is super soothing, I loved it !

im only just finding your channel now but I'm so glad i did! I've never really been able to keep focus during yoga classes on yt but yours are so engaging and i love that you always encourage self love and gratitude in a way i haven't experienced before in other yoga classes :) keep up the amazing work!!

This has helped a lot! Lately I've suffered strong cramps, back pain and digestive issues due to my period. It has got worse over the years and I even started taking cramp relieving and pain medication which I didn't use to before. Does anyone have any tips? Maybe for a plant based remedy? I hope y'all are doing well. Although period pain can be overwhelming, it helps to keep in mind that it will be over soon.

this was a lovely session and i feel much more comfortable in my body again. bridge pose always does wonders when i'm having cramps and the other poses were really good and relaxing, too. also, thank you for keeping this gender-neutral as other period pain relief yoga videos tend to equate menstruation with womanhood and that always irritates me and lessens my relaxation. thank you xx

Thank you for this wonderful video, and for you channel. What I like best about this video, and some of your "bed yoga" and "beginner yoga" videos that I practice is that they are slow, gentle, and really let me get into the moves without strain. So many yoga channels have "beginner" videos with all kinds of crazy inverted poses or things requiring ridiculous flexibility. And I know you have some advanced routines as well. But the poses in this video and others like it are easily adjusted to one's own level of flexibility, and the time you take gives me the chance to find that level of flexibility and hopefully improve it over time. I can do your videos with my daughter, who is far more flexible than I am, but she enjoys it equally well.

So I did this one and it felt great, but for some reason my back and tailbone really hurt like I was doing yoga on straight concrete. Especially during happy baby it was pretty painful to lift up my weight. Any tips?🥺
