George Clooney interview - Parkinson - BBC 

Actually, if you ever see the less mainstream interviews he does(Where he's not 'putting on the charm'), or ever speak to him in person, you'll find he's actually an extremely knowledgeable and intelligent person, particularly on the subject of American and world history. I go to a college with one of the best faculties in the country, and speaking with Mr. Clooney I have no doubt that he could have taken that route had his life played out differently.

Thanks for posting this, I remember seeing this when I was back home - don't get to see much good tv here! George is a very clever and gorgeous person, his eyes are especially lovely....i will shut up now lol

@beuchars bitter much? Clooney has done great movies to name a few: Syriana, Michael Clayton, Good Night and Good Luck, O Brother Where Art Thou? I would watch this lovely, masculine man - who likes WOMEN - in almost anything! He does not claim to be a versatile actor but does have tremendous charisma and screen presence like Spencer Tray or Clark Gable
