I thought he was for mass immigration into England? I also thought he was all for a muiltculturel Britain rather than British culture? Mass immigration has diluted British culture. We now have mini Pakistan, mini Bangladesh, mini somalia, mini India etc etc in England, London is now a mixed up mess and he is all for that, is he not? If so, he is no patriot.

@@JamesLee-rq4sy You thought wrong then. Galloway has argued against mass immigration into England/Britain for many years. He doesn`t always argue against it from a cultural point of view, he mainly points out that it suppresses the wages of the working class. However, in this interview he explicitly talks about the eroding of British culture and how we should celebrate and cherish it. By the way. I completely agree with you about how immigration and multi-culturalism has destroyed London but that doesn`t stop me from agreeing with about 80% + of what Galloway says. The populist left and the populist right need to come together and find common ground because the "liberal" globalist establishment are slowly killing us.

7nfortunately he doesn't understand the importance of the design of Our Parliament as Contracted with the British People, and how critically important the inclusion of the Aristocracy is in that Contracted Design. Not understanding it, is the basis of the things I disagree with George about. For example, it is now well confirmed that having Two Elected Chambers is a Recipe for inevitable Strife and Disasters such as leading to Civil Wars. Other than that, and him not grasping the Reality that Socialism is equally doomed to Failure and Catastrophic Collapse, other than those, there us much I agree with George about, and can see his Heart is in the Right Place (a rarity today in the Political and Bureaucratic Class). Best Wishes. Bob. 👍

Our biggest Problem imho, and it includes all the Established Political Parties, is the uncomfortable reality that Britain has been a Communist Establishment Run Country since 1945, which has proved increasingly disastrous for the British People Ever Since. That Communism Failed in the 1960's and 70's, and that Communist Establishment was only given a reprieve and life extension, by illegally taking us into the EEC, which was a flagrant Violation of the Oath of Supremacy in the 1688 Bill of Rights Contract Establishing Parliament, which Binds Everyone by Birth and Residency in Britain. It's actually far more important than the Oath of Allegiance, believevit or not. My late Dr of Tropical Diseases Uncle, told me about Britain being a Communist State by implication, rather than directly, so it took a while to sink in , and whennit did, it was a hellmofva shock to realise he was right, and it certainly explains everything going to hell in a hand art for the Country and People since the end of WW2. ☹

George says that politically he is close to Tony Benn, that's very evident because both can put forward their political views in an intellectual but common sense way that everyone can understand. The other common theme between the two is that they hold their views for life and don't flip flop like a lot of politicians do today, that has to be admired even if you don't agree with them.

Completely agree with him, Tony Benn was the greatest Prime Minister we've never had, and the greatest thinker the Labour Party has produced in my lifetime.

Out of the two John Smith got my vote. I could identify more with him than Tony Benn. Benn was a great orator though.

There has not been a politician of the calibre of John Smith since his loss. He was just about to get going when he died. George Galloway I could listen to all day , even if I don't agree with everything. However I agree with 99% of what he says. I do agree with George about Russia and Putin. Zelensky has a civil war in Ukraine and Russia does not want to get involved. We don't want a phoney US war in Europe just because USA wants to supply Europe with LPG.

There is little point having that conversation with a lot of Scots that the Tories aren't evil boogie men. It's a culturally ingrained political bigotry that I have heard since I was a kid it would take a lot of effort to remove it if not outright impossible.

What a fantastic talk. Just two weeke ago now: George G got it dramatically wrong about Putin invading Ukraine (now March 2022). But everything else he says makes perfect sense. I wish we had him in parliament to give a different take on matters from the young careerists.

24:52 Who knew it was possible today to be a social conservative while being an economic lefty. What a breath of fresh air. If there were parties like this in every country, they would win every truly democratic vote.

The Workers Party and the SDP both support those positions. Both small parties. But direct/liquid democracy is the only way to change things which betters the people and allows us to vote either directly or delegate votes in Westminster.

Good interview. I’m a right wing conservative but even I would concede that the old school left have had a better grasp of foreign policy in recent years - whether the EU, Russia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, etc. Also, capitalism only works when we have competition and there is no real competition in the rail, energy and water sectors.

Lol lefty looney would have dealt better with European Union 🙊 Russia! Iraq and Afghanistan the Blair labour war monger had a TOTAL grasp on 😠 rail is run by Sadiq khan 🙈 Labour??? Gas electric water has been sold out and labour would have been the same if not worse 🙄

@@louloubrow2171 I said the "old school left" in my comment. Labour in the 1970s hated the EU. I have nothing good to say about Blair and New Labour which is the same as George Galloway's view.
