George Lopez sacrificed his talk show for Conan O'Brien. He gave up his time slot so Conan could be on earlier. Both were great shows, but George deserved to last longer than he did.
Truly inspiring in every way. What a way to represent it makes me feel proud of being Latino. We have been misrepresented for far too long. You have done so much to promote our culture it doesn't go unrecognized, kudos to you for promoting a positive retrospect into our lives. Thank you.

I respect and admire chicano culture (mexican american) but by no means to be confused with latinos. For some of us be latino means to speak spanish fluently and latinos can be from European, Asian and Black ethnicities. In this case George does not speak Spanish fluently and he thinks all latinos are "brown" which is simply not true.
