I moved from this area almost two years ago. I’ll tell you right now, that man spoke like a TRUE politician. I’m only 20 minutes in and I’ve screamed BS at the screen constantly. For a man who claims to have generations involved there, isn’t it strange that he doesn’t know more about the unruly things done? This town has hid the awful history for so long. Thank you for getting the truth out there!

I was born and raised in the area too…most of my family still lives or is buried there. Metter Ga. Grew up joking with other kids about being sent to the crazy house.

This was by far one of the saddest and scariest place is that you and Papa Spooks have ever been to. One thing that disturb me the most was the markers at the cemetery for all those years no one knew. The other troubling part was the cannibalism, if staff was cooking what was going on. A lot of those asylums back in those days used to be abusive to patients to the point where some did die so it kind of makes me wonder what they did with the bodies. One of the things that saddens me the most is knowing that children were living there that’s the part that breaks me when it comes to a child. I lived in an orphanage but I was treated very well and this was in the 70s in Staten Island New York called Mount Loretto. I can’t wait for next week because you’re going to be inside the building which will be awesome I think it’s time for me to become a patron Thank you so much for sharing this dark history and also the interviews that are coming up next week plus the interview that you had with the former worker on the video today see you next week. This was awesome. Amazing interview with the service woman. My great aunt was institutionalized in the 1950s in our state hospital in Pennsylvania due to her having a baby out of wedlock with a married man. Today she would have possibly been diagnosed "bi-polar " if anything at all. She stayed there for decades until her death. Non conforming women and disabled children got dumped in these hell holes. This is heartbreaking and fascinating. Keep up the excellent work.

Oh so true. I'm sorry about your great aunt. I was put in a hospital for 3 years in the 1980s. If I had been born just a couple decades earlier, it would have certainly been my fate. Also, new research shows that "mental health disturbances" are due to childhood trauma.

With the society we live in today, no room for hate, and we must be truthful to ourselves and each other. This place is absolutely one of the creepiest places I've seen you go to. What a great interview with the lady who worked there. The man you interviewed was definitely hiding things, his eyes kept moving back and forth, the sign of a liar or he was not ever going to tell you the truth. Ever since I was young I've been interested in asylums, which probably worried my parents haha! I will be watching for the next film! You can count on it! It's really great Colin, that your dad supports you and you do this together. I miss my dad every day. So keep enjoying being spooky🖤 I know I enjoy it! Love and Light🖤❤🖤 STAT SPOOKY 👻

This really was brilliant, i know you have taken great care over this and just how and when to present it. I can feel the energy of this place streaming through the screen and that is without any paranormal investigating as such (well except for the rempod)). It is a place full of stories and i always feel for anyone having to stay in such places. I am really looking forward to the next episode. Thanks for the great work you continue to do showing such respect to those that have passed whilst trying to get their stories. 💜

Hey to Sweden! My wife is 100% Norwegian with family still there. Our family is going to do a Scandinavian trip for sure including Sweden. Hopefully there are many accessible historic/paranormal locations!

If your are coming to Sweden let me know I will send you a list over paranormal places. Buy the way , last time I talked to you I forgot to tell you that both my parent’s where Optician. You told me you where and just forgot to write that. And if you are in Sweden tell us if you need some place to sleep, we have a big house.❤️ And love to have guests. Norway is fantastic and their language to, it’s like they are singing. . I really hope you will have an amazing Tripp to Scandinavia. I have a really good friend in Norway if you like I can ask her about paranormal places there 🥰. Summer in Scandinavia is beautiful and Norway at wintertime is just awesome. My Mama was here off and on for 3 years for alcoholism. She was misdiagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic. In 1967. She had 14 electric shock treatments. She was also trained in cosmetology and got her beauty school licence

I was an inmate in this institution, in 1968-69. My grandpa was rehabilitation personal, and my grandmother was the dietician. They worked there for over 40 years..
