Gerald Durrell's "Ark on the Move" Theme Tune (1982) 

Canadian natural history series The Stationary Ark was followed up in 1982 with Ark on the Move, which chronicled zoologist Gerald Durrell's visit to Madagascar and Mauritius.
This was the theme tune that was used, a different variation of the theme for The Stationary Ark, composed by John Mills-Cockell. I can't verify if John composed this version of the theme. There is scant information about Ark on the Move on the internet, and there is no footage of it here on RU-vid, least of all just the theme tune.
I recorded this around 1990-92 direct from the television to a cassette recorded with a mic. The program was broadcast on ITV in the UK as part of their children's programming.
The audio quality if pretty poor. I've done my best to clean it up and I think this is as good as I can get it, under the circumstances.
