I don''t see what the problem is here. This is actually great because no extremist would ever consider converting to a different religion. So basically you know for sure that these guys are not extremists. If they are willing to learn all the bullshit of a new religion, then most probably they are also willing to work and sustain themselves. So, yeah. They are ok. I don't care in the slightest if they are honest about their conversion or not. And those who are against what they are doing are either religious fanatics, racists, xenophobes or all three.

All extremists have firm beliefs. Those 3 statements, together or taken separately, do not imply that all people with firm beliefs are extremists. If someone has a firm belief, you cannot tell if they are an extremist or not just based on that. But if someone doesn't have a firm belief, it's highly likely that they are not an extremist. It's a simple logic problem. And this should have been clear from my original comment.

I’m Christian and even if most after they get the Passport and leave the church at least maybe 30 -10% stay and start believing in Christ would be better than they being rejected and sent to live in impoverished countries where they would face a hard life. I think God gives them this chance to accept Christ and start a new life in Germany.

As an Afghan, I'm saddened by this story because it shows how desperate people have become. However, I'm not sad because they convert to Christianity. There have been far worst crimes committed and are being committed in my country every single day especially by those who claim to be the caretaker of the faith. The era of Afghans being the brave and hospitable and friendly people is far gone. It's a dog eat dog world, it's 'get as much as you can because there's no tomorrow' world. I saw on the news one guy hung himself in his hotel room after he was deported from Germany. People are kidnapped, raped, tortured, killed by dozens every day. They convert to Christianity... good for them!!!

They’re willing to go above and beyond because the question here isn’t about their nationality/citizenship, it’s about their life.
If they make the effort to go to church regularily and convert to christianity, this shows that they are willing to integrate, in exchange for the great german living conditions. And that's the people we should want, people who are willing to go out of their way to integrate into German society. Even if the conversion might not be genuine, it still means something.

However living in the West as a Muslim is very tough life and very challenging so everything can happen to your deen. But Alhamdulillah, Allah commands us to never lose hope in His mercy and forgiveness. Even if we have committed many sins, Allah forgives all sins except that of associating partners with Him. Quran 39:53 Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."

Two reasons why they convert, one is they want to be treated as the local, and accepted as citizens. Second thing is, they want to enjoy life as the West are doing.

One think I can't do in my life is to change my love or change my dignity and religion with small amount of money or to be a gay. I can't do thse ones in my eternal life. I better die my dears. Yeah it’s true, thy doing this just to stay in Germany. I’m also immigrated Germany 5 years ago. I studied here I’m road constructor n I got residence permit. If they told today to leave Germany then I leave with politely but I will not never change for my religion or my personality just to stay in Germany.

According to the history shia can be converted to other religion easily but sunni are very hard to convert they prefer death and in sunni ahlahedees sect can't be converted if you try to convert you will be converted to Islam automatically.

Dominic after 2ww Turkish people were brought to Germany by whom? They were helping to rebuild Germany and been promised a pass to citizenship. Right now there are 3 -4 generation s of Turkish people who live in their own communities, carrying thy their traditions and religion. Also they usually have 5-6 kids using all the benefits 180 euro per child until 18 years. Housing, healthcare is free. Plus an extra money on food and clothing.
