This is a technique that I use in Capture 1 (although you can do it in many other programs) to get a neutral white balance on my studio images. Whether you are great at seeing color or you are deficient in seeing certain colors, this technical approach to neutral color will work for you. It's a little bit nerdy but, with a little bit of practice, you will be able to adapt your workflow easily to include it. Starting out with a neutral white balance is the perfect start to editing your images in Capture 1, Lightroom, or almost any other editor.
