hey brad, my situation is kind of unique. my ex and i dated for over 8 months, we broke up then reunited after a month and a half thinking things would be different but we got back together much too soon for us to really grow as we needed to, we were back together for about another 6 months and we fell back into our old habits, we’re broken up again now and it’s been two months since the break up, he broke up with me twice now and i’m really hurt, even though it’s been hard i’ve been improving and working on myself the best i can but i’m scared he’ll forget about me, he’s everything i wanted in a person and i really would like to reconnect with him one day when i’ve become the person i want to be and when he has become the person he wants to be, i’m not fully sure if there’s anything i can do in the process or in the meantime but if you have any thoughts or advice on this, i’d really appreciate it.

Hi Brad, Emergency: After 2 weeks of NC my ex girlfriend that broke it off with me after 4 years called me and I answered the phone. She invited me to her house for pre Thanksgiving dinner with her family and friends. My main concern was that in the conversation she mentioned we were "friends". You can politely decline the offer. It's too soon to meet up anyway. You both need to take adequate time and space apart first and agreeing on friendship will only keep you stuck, man...assuming she dumped you and not the other way around.

Let me guess, the breakup is really fresh, right? That kind of behaviour coming from your ex is somewhat expected after a breakup. Probably no chance you’ll see this but I’m just seeking advice. I stumbled upon your channel by pure chance in my recommended recently and watched a few of the videos and think the info you give off is great! However, I’m in a strange predicament where my ex (of around 10 months) ended things with me about 2 years ago. She’s in a new relationship and so am I but for some reason I feel a very strong mental/physical attraction to her. I’ve contacted her a few times (around once every 6 or so months that pass) and each time is met with me being shut down cause she’s in a new relationship, or just no response at all/being blocked, etc. even after all that, I can hardly stop thinking about her, and feeling as though I’m meant to be with her and vice versa, and I feel a very strong connection between us even with no contact whatsoever. In a situation like this should I pursue her still or keep giving it time and risk losing any opportunity? Because even after two years of separation I can’t stop thinking about her and feeling the connection between us, even though we’re both in entirely new relationships. If she's truly a narcissist, you might want to think twice before trying to get her back, because even if you can change her mind, you can't change her personality, especially if she has a narcissistic personality disorder. It's a mental illness that should be looked into by a medical professional. The best you can do is to encourage her to seek help. I apologized to him in late July and he said some harsh things to me and said he was firm about not getting back together. He even told me that being friends wasn't a good idea. The reason why I wanted to apologize is due to harsh things that I said that really hurt his feelings. Also, because I acted unfavorably during the breakup and way out of character. So, I thought about apologizing for those things and even telling him that I feel guilty still after these months and that I learned from those things. Since it has been a few months, I thought maybe he would be more receptive to hearing a heartfelt apology and perhaps it would allow us to start over in some way.

I don't see this as a cause for concern really, unless you've done something really epic to mess things up or really hurt your ex, there's no reason to worry as much, really, because it could be due to the top 3 reasons I've stated on this vid: y2u.be/fjtv90o9bkI Blocking you could just be your ex’s way of coping so I wouldn’t worry too much about it if I were you, at least not initially. It won't be the same if both of you are willing to grow/change and work on improvement yourselves. This takes time and keen observation and like I always say, the decision is ultimately up to you. It has nothing to do with it. His most recent ex may have called you out of insecurity which likely has to do with your ex's behaviour in general, if he's seeing/talking to other women behind her back.

So I have been following your no contact rule. But each day we still cross path and see each other but there is no talking. The best thing to do right now is to admit to your ex that you've effed up and try to be patient and sympathetic with what your ex is going through and just disappear from your ex's life for a while, because right now, you are a constant reminder of the pain and your ex needs to heal from that first. We hung out on Saturday and I met her friends, but when I asked her out again on the following Wednesday I haven't gotten a response in 3 weeks. It was really sudden with no explanation. She hasn't deleted me from bumble. I just don't know if I should text her or not after 30 days of no contact.
