thank you for making this tutorial .... really helpful ... 😍😍😍😍❤❤no need for the Glare node to get that Bloom Effect in Blender ..... all you need to do is to set the Color Space of the Image Node from sRGB to Filmic sRGB ... this will create a bloom effect for the bright color, just the way it happens in Evee...

Thank you! I was surprised the render each time I made an adjustment was quite fast because the first render took so long. I guess I didn't really understand how does that work, it's the first time I use the composite tab. One thing is, I want to have the bloom or other effect not everywhere on the render. I want some spot to be excluded from the effect I wonder how can we do that.
@BlameAva
@BlameAva Год назад
Hi! Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. Glad you found the tutorial helpful. As for having the effect only affect some parts of the render, I'm not quite sure how that could be done in Blender. Of the top of my head, the only solution I can think of is to render it twice, once with the effect and once without, then layer the images in a program like Photoshop and mask out the areas where you want the effect. Maybe someone else will see your comment and have a better way, or if you ask in the Blender subreddit, they might have a better solution for you.

Hi! ☺ I'm actually not quite sure how to do that. I use two monitors, and have the rendered window on my second monitor for this. You don't have to finish the render first, but if you want to see the results as you adjust the bloom, then yes. If you are rendering an animation, you can render just one frame to see how that looks, then render the full animation after you're happy with the settings. Hope that helps!

Hi. You need to render a test image and keep it open on the side while playing around with the nodes. You should be able to see the changes in real time on this.
