Congratulations on your success! My starting weight was 337. I'm down to 283 with a low carb and low calorie diet, but the constipation was killing me, literally. I'm transitioning to very low fiber, mostly carnivore diet.
I am so like Kathryn. For so many years I under ate and was 100 lbs overweight. Being a single mom to special needs twins almost killed me. I was exhausted in every way. I thought I ate too much but ate less that 1000 calories daily. I am so glad I found you and carnivore. I’m just beginning but I finally have hope. Thank you.
Me 3.... I'm 56 and stayed at 80kg for the last 3 yeas now. My food intake is practically non existent now and when I do eat it's clean whole food but very little. I'm hoping this is my answer.
@@GypsyTarot Excited for you! I'm 57 & stayed at 86kg for 2 yrs before the scale finally budged. It took cutting out all sweet tastes for me- even though I've been low carb & sugar free for years. I was definitely under eating, going through menopause, & my body just wasn't having it! Once I started eating as much meat & fat as I wanted, it still took a bit for my body to trust what I was doing. It also took me a while to work up to enough protein & fat, so don't be discouraged~ stay the course & it will happen. In the meantime, you will gain all the other AMAZING benefits of eating meat; clarity/energy/mood/stamina/strength~ it's astounding how good I feel every single day! At this point, I would say the steady, happy mood & no anxiety are my favorite benefits. I'm also down 9kg of the 18kg I want to lose~ all in the past 2 months.=)
@@RV-there-Yet 🥰🥰💪 The battle is half won for m THank you !!! I don't like any juices, fruits,Soda etc The only sugar I had ( and recently cut out using Butter instead ) was in my morning Coffee so I'm starting this on a great foot.
I'm 59, and I started the Carnivore diet 3 weeks ago. I am diabetic. I can't wait to see my doctor because my glucose readings have been normal. I was 175 lbs. When I was diagnosed with diabetes ten years ago. I'm 5' 3", and today I weigh 140 lbs. I feel great.
I'm 50 and started Carnivore almost 6 mo ago. This lady's story is almost identical to mine, I never ate over 1,200 calories my entire life yet have always struggled at 5 ft 8 to stay below 175 lb despite having a whole foods paleo type of diet. The only way I could do it with starve myself, I had a major surgery and literally ate 500 calories a day for a month and I only lost about 5 lb. That's how dang slow my metabolism was. Anyway, I didn't lose a pound for 5 months strict on Carnivore and then I decided to start tracking and I realized I was massively under-eating and struggling to even get 1,200 calories a day. Now, the last 10 days im forcing myself to eat 1,300 to 2,000 calories a day (its so hard) and I've lost 5 lbs! Im shooketh y'all! I'm aiming for 140g fat 140g protein but I've never reached anything close yet, but its a goal. I've healed Anxiety, horribly painful periods since age 13 (havent started menopause yet), a couple arthritic knuckles & bleeding gums, to name a few. The only downside is people treating you like you belong in the lunatic asylum when you tell them what you're doing😂 and men mansplaining how I'm doing it all wrong. I love men, but jeez guys, I'm not asking for your opinion. I've got this. If i want a man to splain, I'll ask Dr Berry or ❤ Dr Baker, not some 23 year old rando gym rat. 😂 Thanks for all you do on this channel! And remember ladies, it sounds counterintuitive but you GOTTA EAT to heal and then your body can relax and release the fat. You CAN do this. 🥩 "I heard somebody the other day say every single bite you put in your mouth is either healing or harming". Choose wisely 🥩
You sound so much like me. I'd go out with friends and all would eat all the foods high in calories. I'd have a very small salad with 2 crackers and I'd stay fat and they would look down on me like I was sneaking food. So unfair. It was not until I found Keto that I lost the weight no matter how many calories so long as I stayed under 20 grams of carbs per day. I've kept the 73 pounds off for almost 6 years. Went from size 16-18 to size 6 -8. So happy, at least, I found out why I was fat.
@@angelajohnson222 I haven't because I suppose there's nothing physically near me but I'm just having terrible time most days forcing myself to eat. Yesterday only got a thousand calories and I feel like I was going to throw up from eating so much. If it wasn't for my 500-calorie fatty egg coffee in the morning I would really be screwed.
Whoa. I’m blown away by how hard you all have to work at eating enough. -I’m new to this. (Day Five) I think I should start tracking what I’m eating and log it in an app to see what I’m actually eating. Both macros and calories. This is eye opening.
I've been a yo-yo dieter for most of my adult life and I'm 61yrs old this month. Last year I decided to follow a carnivore lifestyle and I lost 24kg's (52 pounds) to reach my goal weight in just under 5 months for the first time in my adult life! I eat OMAD and I'm 95% carnivore as I drink coffee with a bit of milk and have a small bar of chocolate once a week. I don't take any supplements. I eat beef, ostrich,, lamb, eggs, veal, pork and liver. I have fish and chicken once in a while and I have maintained my weight. I'm 1.71m tall and weigh 55kg and I feel great!
what an amazing result. I like that your eat a variety of meat, I think that helps mineral and vitamin content too. Congratz and God bless your journey, stay strong and meat-on!
Your story inspires because I will be 61 years old this year and I also have done yo-yo dieting with exercise and calories restriction which also led with over eating so I would go loss weight buy gained it right back. This year now 4 months on carnivore my knees feels much better and my skin is smoother not dry. I gained 35 pounds after starting carnivore because I just came of a 38 day water fast so my body is holding on to the fat and healing at the same. I look forward in a year from to see a lot of healing in my joints, hips, feet, knees, shoulders and back. Thanks for sharing and God Bless.
@@herewegokids7 Hi, I don't weigh my food and eat until I'm full/saturated. I'm past the days of counting calories, weighing my food etc. I mostly have my one meal a day for lunch and ensure I have a sizeable portion and not just a small portion or piece of meat, but a fair size of meat. I took me a bit of time to figure out how much to eat, but you get a feel for it after a short time and depends on the type of meat/protein I eat. Meat such as oxtail/lamb shank and beef are very filling. I'm not hungry after my meal and it lasts me till my next meal. If necessary, start with 2 meals a day and see what works for you. Thanks for responding!
Thank goodness that Katheryn did not listen to that first doctor and sought out more information that lead her to Dani Conway! I am just applauding her for taking charge of her own health in this way
This is my struggle. I had a weight loss surgery about 10 years ago. I’m never hungry on carnivore. Trying to eat enough is a challenge. I don’t wait until I’m hungry. I don’t graze, but I will eat 3 times a day, minimum. I eat as much as I can…until I hit a wall. Meat full is completely different than crap food full. It can be confusing, because even having had the surgery, there are times that i can eat a 16 oz steak, in one sitting…though it may take an hour. Today I just made 30 days strict carnivore, no cheats. Committing to 30 more days!!
Hello!!! I had weight loss surgery as well, but I gained some back would like to heal from fibromyalgia. Have you lost any weight in the 30 days. I want to stick to it sooo bad and it does help, but I give up. Do you consume water at all. That’s hard for me as well. 😩 I’m trying though. ❤️🙏🏼❤️
@@ninamuchlove150 I’ve lost 8 lbs. i do still have some weight to lose but I’m more interested in the relief I’ve had from pain and inflammation. I drink water when I’m thirsty, probable 24 oz a day. I rarely drink when i eat.
This is very inspiring. Im a little over 30 days into carnivore and down 26 lbs. The best part is absolutely the healing and how wonderful I feel now. Anxiety and depression are already 80% better. Stomach issues are completely gone and Ive had them for almost 10 yrs. Adult acne 90% gone. Mental clarity at work is through the roof. Im off coffee and caffeine for the 1st time since I was 15 years old and started working. Im a 28 yo woman and I feel like Im 16 again.
@crucible4silver I didn't count calories so Im not sure. I ate meat, eggs, bacon, and drunk only water. Every time I was hungry, I ate. I ate until I was comfortably full but not overly full. Sometimes 3 times a day and sometimes just once. I also exercised 5-6 times a week. I did a mix of moderate to high intensity cycling and weight lifting. Hope this helps!
Jessica, I'm not even trying to go without my coffee as I love it way too much, but good on you for kicking that habit! I know myself too well to even try going off coffee as I will replace it with something else and rather not even try it! I'm feeling great after reaching my goal weight and will continue with my carnivore lifestyle. I'm just so glad I'm completely off carbs!
@marynamurray9385 Thank you! Going off coffee is 100% not necessary imo. My hubby still drinks it daily as a "preworkout" for the gym. The most important thing is doing what makes you feel your very best and I'm glad you've found that. I developed very horrible anxiety and no caffeine is helping me heal from that. Definitely miss the taste though lol. And congrats on reaching your goal weight, that's awesome! I'm still 18 lbs from that myself.
@azbuckeyegirl9523 Congratulations on starting your journey! The first 2 weeks are the hardest as you transition, but it is totally worth it! A word of advice, remember to salt your food generously. Also LMNT is wonderful. Alternatively, magnesium citrate (the most bioavailabe magnesium) and iodine drops or kelp supplements. Low electrolytes=low energy
This IS so inspiring! Congratulations. I am 56 too and started carnivore for almost 2 weeks ago. I am loving it so far. Years of struggling with weight, & sugar addiction, so desperate I had RNY surgery, and trying every diet like low fat. Then I found keto, ketovore and now carnivore. I wish I had know about Keto and Carnivore years ago. I am so happy I have found this.
I’m 56 as well. How are things going as it seems that it’s been a few weeks since you posted. I’m on day five. (All of these posts are making me cry. I’m feeling so hopeful.)
GREAT VIDEO FOR STARTERS, KELLY!!That’s me. I was a fat UNDER EATER! Never purged. Constipated all the time. Not any more. And I still have trouble eating enough. But eating fatty cuts of meat is the way to go. I don’t add fat. I’m never constipated any more. I’m almost doing the lion diet because the meat is so satiating I don’t need eggs or dairy or anything else. I do drink 7 ozs of Core protein milkshake (13 grams protein) every other day. But that’s it. About once a month or more I will have a ketovore or carnivore waffle. I still have a substantial amount to lose so I’m sticking to meat as much as possible. Eat until satiated- don’t eat again until hungry then eat until satiated. WORKS GREAT! I watch for sales and buy about $200 worth of meat per month. Lots of 80/20 Hamburger, chuck roast, New York strips, ribeyes, sirloin tip roast, sirloin steak, T-bones & Cube steaks. Also don’t forget electrolytes especially in the beginning! It’s crucial! That’s my menu!😂🤣😂 I’m off all meds. No more insulin resistance. Everything works as it should. HAPPY DANCE 💃 P.S. pork doesn’t work for me. But if you can, eat all you want. It’s cheaper than beef.
❤ I’ve only been on carnivore since April 1 but I’m healing from joint pain and so thankful for zero carb life!!! I’m actually really getting healed 1 ribeye at a time ❤ Thank you Kelly Hogan 🎉
Great testimony! I totally agree, Kelly’s groups are so empowering. Community is so important for us Carnivores. I’ve been in Kelly’s groups whenever I can fit it in my budget. I’m 66, Carnivore 2+ years, 15+ years keto prior to that. Lost 💯 + lbs and recovered from multiple health conditions 🥩
OMG - I can so relate to her story. I was doing everything I thought I needed to do to be healthy and all that happened was my weight increased, my health decreased and I felt horrible most times. I'm not where I want to be yet but I'm on my way and I'm SO THRILLED to have found your channel Kelly. You're such an inspiration and you have the BEST videos. So down to earth, so simply, so supportive and they help relax and reassure me that I'm on the right track. Still have significant weight to lose but 50lbs are gone already and I LOVE IT!! Thanks so much ladies!
I needed this inspiration! I have been a 100% low carb advocate since way back in the year 2000 when I read Protein Power by Dr Michael Eades. In 2017 I discovered keto and somewhere along there I started seeing ZERO carb/carnivore info. In 2020 I tried carnivore for 6 weeks and it was amazing..but then CV19 happened and lockdowns and I fell, off the wagon. Took me until this past Jan to finally get back on. Initial results were amazing but here I am 6 mos in struggling. This has inspired me to get serious, get strict and get on with this! I want to be where you all are by the time I’m 60..just over a year from now!
I started Keto over 5 years ago and slowly went over to full on Carnivore. I to had H.Pylori and a very sensitive stomach, the only benefit was it kept me from becoming an alcoholic. I treated it with mastic gum. It would clear up for a while and come back every few months, so I would get back on the mastic gum. Now that I am full on Carnivore my gut has healed even more.
Yes!!! I believe this is my exact problem! I am like I do not eat a lot yet I keep getting bigger and bigger. I blamed it on the medication I was on so I came off of that thinking that would help but no it didn't help at all! Thanks for sharing your story! I am 53 and need to lose at least 100lbs.
I'm also an overweight under-eater and haven't seen anyone else address this. I'm 1.5 years carnivore and still struggling to increase my food intake or lose weight, though many other things have cleared up (like asthma!). Thank you for sharing your story Kathryn!
Same & same Jen~ wasn't until I was able to get my intake up that the scale FINALLY started moving a couple months ago, & I've been eating carnivore for over two years! The best part is, I feel so clear & sharp mentally that I'm not even kicking myself for not figuring it out sooner~ which absolutely would have occupied head space before carnivore, 100%. I feel too good to be bothered w/things I cannot control or re-do, & today IS what truly matters, so I choose to be present for it. =) I was also over exercising for the amount of calories/energy I was taking in. I backed off on that quite a bit, & gradually added more meat & fat~ an ounce at a time, literally. Did OMAD the first year, which of course did not work for me. What works is to eat when I'm hungry, & add in a few more bites each time. I really wasn't sure if I could get here, but the thing is our bodies WANT to go there, they want to be at an optimal place, naturally, so the response has been more than worth the effort.🎈🤸
@@RV-there-Yet thanks for sharing your experience, it's helpful and hopeful! I was previously athletic and then disabled by recent years with severe chronic fatigue. I'm working to recover and there's no exercise going on over here lol. Yet! And learning to trust my body again instead of fear it after everything we've been through, like you said remembering that my body knows what to do and wants to go there naturally. Bit by bit, bite by bite. I don't intentionally omad but because fatigue it usually works out that way, for now. I'm glad to hear that appetite and ability to eat more will happen over time.
@@IridescentJen It surely does~ wow, we've got even more in common it seems, as I've struggled w/same in the past, "trusting instead of fearing it"- YES! Like waiting for the other shoe to drop is how I described it ~ so grateful for the anxiety to be gone now too, largely due to proper nutrition I'm sure. Most definitely, you've got this Jen💓~ clearly, because you understand what's going on. That's everything, imho.🎯
Hi. I just watched a Kelly video about eating high fat medium protein. Guest was wonderful & fit trainer lady. Great clip. Bottom line: 200g fat & 60-75g protein (2 1.3 pound burger Patties or equivalent). I’m excited to swing to this Mix. All the best to you.
Good Morning! Love this interview and all of your videos! I’ve lost 50 and have 40 more to go. Strict carnivore for a year. Stalled for months now. 😢 It’ll be alright though.
Hello everyone and anyone new to carnivore! Kelly you do an awesome job with helping people on carnivore. I hope you are put on the homesteadhow carnivore movie that Kerry is putting together! But we want to see you happy and being yourself- as you didn’t get to he yourself and relaxed on the Reversed series. Since we are talking about people curing things with carnivore diet- here is my story! So everyone knows I am 46, turn 47 soon- but look like I am in my early 30’s. I am now 122lbs and 5’7”. I have done a zero carb carnivore diet for 9 months now. Before I was saved by the carnivore diet I was 165lbs (weight would continue to creep up since I was 40 years old.) And I had so many other issues that are now cured. One was i had fibrocystic issues before carnivore. It built up over a six year period of western / SAD diet. Doctors said it was normal, nothing we can do. “Part of aging and now normal.” Nope! Then I tried the Mediterranean scam grain diet for 6 months- made things worse and even put me into peri menopause and many other issues like cysts that got to be quarter size round, so painful! Fibrocystic masses too were big! I was fed up and decided to go dig and dig to see if anything would reverse this! Found Dr. Baker, Dr. Berry, and Dr. Chaffee with carnivore diet! Then found out cruciferous veggies can ruin your thyroid and prevent natural absorption of iodine found in foods! I had eaten lean skinless chicken breast (a half of one maybe once a day), rices, and broccoli for 6 years- age 40-46 and daily! I want ladies to know they need to avoid cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cabbage, Brussel sprouts, asparagus, and cauliflower to prevent fibrocystic breasts- but plants in general cause it! Your body needs iodine for your lady organs and all other organs, but especially your thyroid! They really mess up the thyroid which messes up your hormones and causes all other issues! One big domino affect! I ask people to go watch Dr. Chaffee with Dr. Sally Norton on plant toxins! Fibrocystic breast issues are now what doctors have settled as “normal!” I truly feel it is considered an auto immune issue / plant toxic illness of inflammation that can be reversed with carnivore! If you look the rates of fibrocystic illnesses is drastically increasing- including breast cancer- and it’s posted on line that nobody knows what causes those! They tell people not to eat saturated fats! I eat fatty meats of beef and eggs- and 8 months on carnivore no more cysts and i have only one smaller fibrocystic mass left that is super small- continues to shrink- not the large mass it once was- shrinking drastically on carnivore diet! Carnivore diet cured so much for me! * No more perimenopause- completely reversed! *Period cycles all timed perfect with 4 week intervals. And no PMS symptoms, but only the actual menstrual cycle itself! *No more night sweats *No more waking every 2 hours at night! *It used to take me 20 minutes or longer to fall asleep at night when I would first go to bed at night- before carnivore. Now it takes like a minute or less. Haven’t noticed since I am out fast! *No more life long eczema *No more cold hands *No more cold body temp in general! Used to feel like a reptile - only warm in texas sun. *No more IBS symptoms (gas, bloating, stomach pain, constipation, diarrhea) *No more feeling low energy by 12pm and zombie by 4pm *No more purple looking hands in winter *No more brain fog *No more arthritis that I felt in hands, knees, and hips- or elbows *Lost 45+ pounds from former baby weight and peri menopause weight. *Always had 20/20 vision with slight stigmatism- but in March doctor said my stigmatism is reversing! *Don’t sunburn as easily anymore and tan well. *Wrinkles around eyes seem to be much less. I am 46 and look like I am in early 30’s. *Gums look super healthy. Dentist seems irritated as my teeth are not dirty when cleaning every six months. Think they know they won’t make money off me. *No more sore chest from monthly periods- no swelling feeling of fullness or discomfort that prevented me from sleeping on my stomach. Now I sleep every night on my stomach! *Fibrocystic Breast issues reversing! Almost all gone after 6 years of buildup! *no cravings unless they are for meat *no more angina symptoms before a period- which started about 3 years ago. *No more feeling weak like almost passing out and dizzy around ovulation and periods * no more fingers swelling- that started a few years ago- rings kept being tight- is pattern I noticed. One ring I had resized larger and it’s super loose now. Will have to resize smaller. *feel stronger- now lifting barbells not just hands weights. Dr. Baker said since I am 46, and 5’7” at 122lbs- need more resistance training to add more muscle weight. . So bought a 47lb barbell off Amazon and have 40 extra pounds added to it. Will continue to progress with that. * i had started growing grey hairs in one of my eyebrows, few hairs at a time, but no grey in my blonde hair yet - but assumed it was coming before Carnivore. Now on carnivore I have had no new grey hairs growing in eye brows and still no grey hair in my natural blonde hair. And in the sun it gets super light highlights. * no more body odor! * I used to get a little anxiety with large crowds- like if attending special events- but since on carnivore I don’t get it that much. *I was a bit OCD before carnivore, but so much more relaxed so barely like that. * I was a relaxed person before, but somehow am even more relaxed and never stress about things. *Since I was a young child my sense of smell has been terrible. But 8 months on carnivore my sense of smell has gone crazy! I smell things even far away! Amazing! If I think of anything else will add. ☺️👍🏻 I know when people go on carnivore they are trying to heal something, but if they aren’t like me and notice small things- they may not notice they are healing way more than they realized- things plant foods were causing! And they need to remember, processed foods are made from plants- but so are whole foods (raw or cooked!) they are all toxic! The carnivore diet cures! ☺️👌🏻 The body is a network made of multiple gears- and if one gets messed up it causes a whole domino affect of problems like I had! The carnivore lifestyle is not a fad, it’s the ancestral human way of eating! Go Carnivore for a few months and see how you feel! ☺️👍🏻
This interview was so inspiring! I'm on day 6 of what I call "ketovore" as I'm still having tea or coffee and a bit of broccoli and cucumbers as well as some spices. I started using a food journal which was very eye opening and helped me to see where I'm going off the rails. I'm eating too much fat and not enough protein! It's harder than I thought to get enough protein.

I love the testimonies from members! Hearing these beautiful people that have had healing and successful weight loss, gives me the encouragement to continue in this journey. I totally believe healing comes first!
So true what she said, it resonates with me, about starving on so many diets over the years and it's refreshing to be able to actually eat to satiety without feeling like I'm still hungry. It allows you to eat, get nourishment and move on with your day. BLESSING!! I am 36 days on carnivore and started at 205 lbs. I'm afraid to get on the scales so I'm waiting until 90 days or 6 months. I'm giving myself a year to see and feel results but this is.going to be the way to go. It just makes sense. 🙏🎉 So encouraging this story, she looks amazing and Kelly, you always do!! Oh Im 52 years old and menopausal so I need the healing and rebalancimg. Let's go girls!!!
Thank you both so much for the informative and encouraging talk! I am 6 weeks in and have lost only 15lbs, probably because of all the yo-yo dieting ! I am 69 and started at 250lbs, the highest I have ever been. Very little support at home so I crave these good videos every day! Thank you!
Good morning from Los Angeles! I joined one of your July Coaching groups and I am anxiously and excitedly awaiting the start! Al though I’ve been living a carnivore lifestyle for about 4 years now, I decided now was the time for finding a community based support system. Thanks for making yourself available for us!
I love these inspiring stories from other Carnivores (real people! Lol) It is so motivating to hear and gives us all hope! Kelly's group is the most helpful and inspiring group I have been a part of. Well worth the time and money!
I watched your Maggie, Violet and Una video this morning and now this one. I didn’t realize I have been under-eating. Dieting for decades trains us to eat in unhealthy ways. I had eggs and bacon for breakfast and pork belly at noon and still I haven't hit my half-way mark for calories. Eye-opening. It will take me a while to build up!
This is me!! I think I’ve always been an under-eater, but then infertility hit and I went vegan and my thyroid died and now I struggle to lose weight. I was always skinny before so it didn’t bother me. I would do what I called “operation anorexia” if I gained - and it fell right off. Now I’m in a situation with major candida, hypothyroidism and I’m FAT!! I don’t eat much at all and I can’t lose. I’m going to try this. I have real trouble giving up sugar though. I make it for a day or two and then binge, crash. Pray for me!!!!
Try butter. When you start to feel the cravings get a tablespoon of cold butter, and take some extra salt with it. Two tablespoons if you need it. It dials back the cravings.
Sooooooooo good! Kathryn is so encouraging and delightful. Kelly is a rockstar. Thank you for this! From a 56 yo who needs the encouragement to lose about 40 lbs. 🙌🏻
Yes indeed. I have a hard time eating enough and actually feel sick when I stuff that much food in me. I don’t count calories- I eat until full and don’t eat again until hungry. I think our bodies tell us what we how much we need and when we need it.
I couldn’t eat that much, but I was told to eat more. I usually eat about 1200 calories a day, they say to eat until your satisfied, but then say eat more? I will continue to eat as my body tells me, until it’s not working.
Oh my gosh, since I've gone carnivore. Today is day 97 I can't eat that much anymore. And I need to I need the calories and the fat. And the protein 115 pounds. And I'm not doing good keeping Weight on since i decided to cut out most of my dairy. At almost a week of cutting back the dairy and going off coffee and Creamer. I'm down to 114, which is no good.😢 struggling to gain and keep weight on. So I bought some heavy cream yesterday and put in my coffee this morning 😢.. Made up a bunch of bacon bites this morning. And will make some pork belly tomorrow.
Kathryne your story is absolutely amazing and so are you. Your personality is so sweet and genuine, and you are inspirational yourself! Kelly Hogan, thank you for highlighting people in your group that have been successful, it gives the rest of us who haven’t quite arrived yet hope that our healing, and our day will come too!
Terrific interview Kelly. Kathryn is such an inspiration! The no fasting is my feeling now too since i can eat 2 meals a day and feel great while not gaining weight. Ive been carnivore for 2 yrs now after losing 107 doing keto. Im lazy, and carnivore takes care of that, plus, making me feel even better. So thanks Kelly, i learn more every time i see you.❤
I'm glad that you had Kathryn on your channel, Kelly. I have heard her awesome story being in your coaching group with her. She always has great info to share. Being in your group is one of my highlights in my week. I always look forward to our weekly Zoom calls.
It does NOT matter one's age. You improve your diet and lifestyle to carnivore and your age is irrelevant! I'm 72 have shed over 100 pounds since becoming carnivore 3:00 640 days ago! I celebrate this womans success but her age is only important to show others that YOUR AGE is not a barrier😂. My doctors office called me today demanding I make an appointment and I told her, Not NO, BUT NO! If I need a doctor, I will call but it's highly unlikely I will be calling! I'm super healthy, all normal vitals and A1c 5.0 just 2 days, ago and normal weight now. I shed over 100 pounds without their interference.
They may have been calling to keep you as a patient because two years without seeing your doctor and they place you back as a new patient. It’s policy. Yeah, don't get me started.
God is so faithful to hear our cry and answer our prayer...not only is this a healing journey but so much a part of restoration...everything that was stolen!...lies, our identity, self esteem and so many other things that have preyed upon us!...I really enjoy this family because many of the women are older!..wow that's encouraging I will be 70 Feb 2024 always with a childlike desire to be firm and that I could be carried🤗...these testimonials are so inspiring out of all the different ones on the social media this to me is the healing and restoration sanctuary God is sending so many hurting looking to be healed and made whole...so inspiring filled with hope again!...thank you..thank you for all that you sacrifice for others...you are truly giving back for what has been given to you Kellie❤..what to join group...weight I lost in keto trying to creep back up..gut issues as well...this is my opportunity to take my life back and walk in the victory..never had a support team for anything want to commit👍🙏
One of the main reasons that I want to try this is so I can get up off the floor without crawling to the couch. 😢 7/28/2023, 5’8” 223 pounds. I’m easing in. Have upped the meat and fat -significantly. Have cut out all sweets and 95% of fruits and veggies. 98% of grains. On day five. Only problem so far is a medium size headache. Kelly, I can’t wait to join one of your groups. I’m going to try to make sometime this afternoon.
I hope sometime I'll have enough money to join one of your groups. It sounds like a great time with great people. Thank you for sharing these stories with us.
Awesome success story. Got to admit, was watching one of Dr Chaffee's videos and this appears in my feed and switched it out to watch this. Keep up the success stories. Great info!
myzerocarblife.bigcartel.com/category/coaching-sessions Thank you for watching! If you need more support, you can find information here. I would love to work with you!❤
So happy to hear this video. A life of constant constipation and searching for answers, I started carnivore 2 weeks ago and I am feeling better but still need gut healing.
I love you BOTH Kathryn and Kelly ❤❤ Kathryn, you are such an inspiration to so many!! Thank you for trusting me and the process to get to true healing from the inside-out. ❤️❤️
I'm so excited for another video that shares some much-deserved Dani Conway LOVE!! I'm such a big fan of yours, Dani, and I'm so thankful for the healing that you help bring to so many people like Kathryn. You're amazing. ❤ -Kelly
Kelly, thank you so much for doing all these interviews with these amazing women, like yourself!!!! I’m just over two weeks on Carnivore and I’m feeling so much better with my inflammation. I have restricted for years and suffered with constipation due to lazy bowel syndrome. I’m sure it’ll take a while for my body to completely reset, but I’m committed. Thank you for all you do!💖💖💖🙏 Many Blessings to you and this amazing community!!!!
Your story inspires because I will be 61 years old this year and I have done yo-yo dieting with exercise and calories restriction which also led with over eating so I would lose weight the gained it right back. I would like to join a carnivore group and love Kelly Hogan whom I first watched on RU-vid and decided to do Carnivore but her monthly fees are $50 there is no way I can afford that. IF YOU KNOW OF A GROUP THAT IS $20 A MONTH I WOULD BE HAPPY TO JOIN. I think your right it is important to be part of a group. Thanks for sharing and God Bless.
Katheryn thank you for sharing your story so openly. Dear Kelly, thank you for your enthusiasm and sharing with all of us every day inspiring and empowering people demonstrating that IT IS POSSIBLE!
What a delightful ending...that she can now jog, jump when before she couldn't even get off the floor! I have a long way to go but I hope that I can do that!
What an inspiration Katherine is! I love these stories you are sharing, Kelly, they are so helpful. And I love being a part of your carnivore community groups - so, so thankful!
Thank you so much for uploading this video. I've plateaued on my weight loss. I'm maybe under eating, so I'm going to eat normally and more then fit in normal fasts here and there.
I love this video, such an amazing inspiring story, wow. I try to stay carnivore, or ketovore at least, but I struggle, my gran passed away 2 days ago, I live in Australia with my husband and 2 girls, but the rest of our family is in South Africa, and all I want to do is drown my sorrows with carbs and sweets and everything that makes me feel ill 😥😫 I am strongly considering joining one of your groups Kelly, just to be accountable and get some motivation from people on the same journey.
This is so encouraging! I'm a 55 year old mama. I hope to have a success story some day! And Kelly is a joy. I just signed up for your group for the first time. :-)
I am really struggling. I am 62, retired 12/31/22. I am a breast cancer survivor and had quintuple bypass surgery in 2020. I knew I needed to heal and regain my strength and stamina. I had been trying to do Keto since finding Dr. Berry a few years ago, but my weight had gone to 198 and Type 2 diabetes. I started carnivore 3/11/23 and got about 30 days in total before "cheating". Not big cheats, and was able to jump right back on board each time. I initially lost 12 pounds. My endocrinologist appointment doing labs my A1c went from 7.0 to 6.2. But I have struggled this entire time with weight loss. I have gotten down to 182 and then I just yo-yo going up and down again. This morning I weighed in at 187 and I am totally discouraged. I eat 2MAD most days. Late breakfast/lunch about 11/12 and then dinner. Almost entirely eggs, butter, ribeye steaks mostly...and other meats. I am using Dr. Berg's electrolytes, Redmond's Real salt and watching RU-vid videos from all the influencer daily. All the coaching, etc. requires $$ and as a new retiree, I have to watch that. My medical expenses from paying for my own insurance and copays now are pretty significant. I am really not sure where to go from here.
There is a lot of conflicting information on the influencers videos. I can’t eat pork except 1-2 slices of bacon maybe once a week. I can’t eat dairy. I gain every time I eat any of it. So I’m eating all beef. Occasionally if I feel the need for something different I eat a carnivore waffle or eggs. But now sticking to meat I have no cravings or wants! AND DON’T add any fat other than what’s on the meat. Everyone can’t eat a stick of butter every day. If you notice those that eat are young and already lost most of their extra weight. Eat until full and don’t eat again until hungry.
@@china33ful I gain and have inflammation! So I stay away. Pork also elevates blood pressure. Mine is now 106/62 on no meds and I want it to stay that way.
@@martgrigsby3404 thats great that you found out pork doesn’t work 4 u. I asked because I love pork belly, I am/was having issues losing the last 8 lbs to goal. Stalled for 9ish months. I have no idea how pork affects me but 2 weeks ago I restarted BBB&E.
Kelly, Thank you for sharing success stories from your coaching groups, and all of your other videos! Always inspiring and helpful for me to continue on my weight lost journey. Blessings!
Really enjoyed this interview, love kelly's enthusiasm and caring nature, well done Kathryn, i've lost 5 stone doing carnivore in the last year, only type of eating i have ever been able to continue doing as all cravings disappeared, i was a comfort eater and had a weight problem my whole adult life.
Kelly you are such an inspiration!!!You are beautiful on the outside but also on the inside. I think you make people so comfortable about doing a new thing. I love meat and I can’t imagine not eating it but for some people they love their carbs and when they think about not getting to have them it kind of freaks them out and I also understand that. But I think you have a relaxed way of teaching people about carnivore Thank you for all that you do. God bless you 😊
I needed to see this today. Thank you Kelly & Kathryn. I'm facing some health challenges and have weight to loose. I have dabbled with carnivore for the past 5 years but haven't been able to stay carni for the long haul. Thank you for the inspiration to stay carnivore TODAY. (I'm also working on my sugar/carb addiction side of things👍)
Very encouraging! I’ve been Ketovore leaning towards carnivore since Sept ‘22. I haven’t lost more weight. Lost 50 just before that doing low carb. I do feel the healing. But I’m frustrated to not lose the weight. I think I need to revamp my plan. And my mindset. I’ve been tired and not into doing it well the past month or so bc life.
Today I'm starting my 3rd week of BBBE my whole life has changed! My plan is to do BBBE for 90 days and then hardcore carnivore without dairy except butter. I'm never hungry I find fasting much easier. Loving carnivore
I find this very helpful. I eat between 650 to 1000 calories a day following my macros for weight loss and I don't lose anything. I was so hungry I had a binge weekend now trying to get back to carnivore. I'll try to follow what Kathryn has done. I'm 66 and the weight dosen't come off like before.
Kelly, I’d like to know which group Kathryn is in and be in that group! Her story is soooo me! I’m so blessed I got into Dani Conway’s weight Loss group for July. Thank you for sharing your story!!! I have problems eating enough as well
this is such a great channel. I've enjoyed every post, and the energy is great. Thanks for all the testimonial, people! I'm 5 weeks deep and loving it! God bless!
I am a medical coder and my job is to read patient charts for the Medicare population. Here is the Nutrition advice in many charts from doc, keeping in mind many of these people have chronic diseases such as Diabetes, CKD, morbid obesity, GERD etc: “Choose more fish and lean meats instead of fatty cuts of meat. Skip butter & lard and use margarine instead. Eat fewer cheeses. Get a lowfat cookbook. Keep the saltshaker off the table. Use non sugar sweeteners. Aspartame and Sucralose can satisfy a sweet tooth. Boost your diet with whole grains”💀 ☠️
I can’t get past my 1st week! I can definitely feel a huge difference, but I feel like I’m in, “Groundhog Day”. I have to keep going back to square 1. Emotional eating sucks! Any good suggestions to halt my insanity? Love your content 😊
I was at the same place at 66 lbs lost. So frustrating and I was about to give up. I was trying make myself eat. A sweet lady suggested I eat my first meal until satiated then don’t eat again until hungry. I started the very next day. I’m now losing anywhere from 2/10 to 8/10’s of a pound a day, mostly in the upper numbers. I’m eating fatty cuts of meat only. Worth a try. Wishing you the best.
Let's just accept that this is a wonderful video. The information and honesty is so encouraging. On the "lighter" side (excuse the pun), Kathryn could surely earn some extra cash as Julia Robert's stand-in:). Thank you both for your lovely help.
OMG she is me! Huh i m having so many colon issues n was told BRAT n add fiber n vegees because im " unhealthy" wow im crying i needed this! But i too have the whole eating too little issue...THANK YOU
