IMO Jimmy can be a number one on a championship team. He already proved that this year and in 2020. The problem is Bam can't be the 2nd on a championship team. He gets to passive and scared, even while sometimes being the best center in the series and ends up throwing even though being the clear 2nd option.

They were close to the finals this year, I think it make sense to give it another year. Make some small changes like getting rid of Robinson, as you suggested. See if Lowry could return to form, etc. Or, maybe try to sign Jalen Brunson. Snag Bridges away from Charlotte? Especially if they really think they can get someone like Durant or James after next year. I still have some hope for Herro. But, I tend to agree. And wouldn't want to give him max money unless it was incentive driven based on performance. League avg TS% and way below it in the playoffs isn't worth a max contract. He'd have to prove he can push that 60% mark consistently; regular season and playoffs. In particular, because he doesn't really seem to offer much more than his scoring ability. Judging by some other advanced stats. Edit: Just now noticing Herro also had a -4 net rating when on court. Seems to make more and more sense to try and trade him for something in return.

Victor Oladipo healthy after an off season to work on his offense is going to be a problem. It will be his first healthy off season in like 3 or 4 yrs. At his best, he is similar to Wade. No reason to think he won't bounce back like Klay has🤷🏿‍♂️

Jimmy Butler could be a number 1 option. He just needs a consistent number 2 option in the playoffs. Man plays out of his mind in the playoffs.

Butler can ABSOLUTELY be a #1 option on a championship team. His game 6 performance against the Celtics was one of the best playoff performances of all time (ranked 12th). The Celtics were just the better team, can't wait until this off season and if it isn't obvious already the Heat were no bubble flukes

I think heat have all the pieces to make a good run again next year when they come back healthier, dipo especially. Want the team to pick up a decent big to have more size on the team and allow Yurtseven more meaningful game time. Would like to see what Morris could still bring to the team but Tucker should now be starting anymore. Would love to see Oladipo, Strus, Herro, Vincent, Martin, Tucker, Yurtseven all back with the team. Not sure if having dedmon is worth what he brings to the table. Definitely see what the market is Lowry and maybe Robinson separately or together, though wouldn’t mind keeping the latter.

I say you find a way to trade herro, keep Duncan and use him as a rotation piece or if you do have to trade him along with Tyler so be it(though I think having a knock down shooter with some length coming off of the bench is always good). Keep PJ and Victor, they have defensive prowess and can make shots.

Tyler's efficiency goes down the games he started because he only started when the team was pummeled by injuries... but stats with no context are a regular thing in sports commentating nowadays so I guess it's whatever.

if not Donovan, bring Clarkson and Ayton to Heat, retain Bam, trade Lowry, Duncan and Herro, if money would be an issue PJ can be traded also for a defensive Roster like Hachimura or Beverly that fits Miami's defensive culture. Miami simply needs a legit extra center and someone from off the bench, Bam is effective as a PF. Herro is making his move for more money so Miami must let go for him as a win2x situation.

They need to move Herro and Robinson. Get someone that fits their team ethic of two play.

I'm gonna clear this up with what u said, Jimmy can be the best player on a championship team 100%, he just needs a star team mate than he can share the load he's carrying. He needs a guy that can also create for his shot. We don't need joel embiid cuz the price is so high, we need a guy like donovan or beal who are heavy scorers. It will compliment kyle and Bam's game cuz they don't need to be pressured scoring the ball when jimmy has a bad game. But definitely, Jimmy is the guy you want on a championship team. He can carry a team to win. He already proved than. Miami just needs additional offense on their team and they're good to go

Herro for Buddy Hield could be a better move instead of getting star player and losing 1st pick. Theres a chance they can get Buddy w/o givin up 1st pick so they can still find a strecth 4/5 in the draft. Buddy probably better fits in Spo small ball and complement Lowrys fast paced game, hes very good off ball, off dribbles player, quicker and more skilled shooter

As a die hard heat fan I disagree on something’s like trading Duncan Robinson to the Sixers. I’m only trading Duncan for Christian wood and jerami gran or packaging him in a Mitchell trade. Miami is very unpredictable when it comes to making moves in the offseason, for example that Jimmy Butler trade was so unexpected because he could’ve signed with the Nets to be that star next to D-Lo or the Knicks to save their franchise and a superstar to build around or the Lakers if they never got AD. But if Philly were to trade him to another team like the Houston Rockets to add a 3rd star to James Harden and Chris Paul if Jimmy convinces them to keep Chris or the Clippers instead use those assets but less picks to trade for Jimmy Butler to pair him up with Kawhi but the Heat got him from that 3 team trade and Jimmy has proved doubters wrong ever since but I think Heat could win if they do make the right moves this offseason to probably get a true big like Myles Turner to put on the front court with Bam, they do have assets.
