I saw this video on another channel, and I commented about this guard there as well, but you really can't commend him enough. He is one of the keenest guards that I've ever seen! He literally checks every single person that comes near him or his horse. You'll see him craning his neck to make sure people abide by the rules. Well done!
Actually there are a few young Guards both from Lifeguards and Blues and Royals Regiments all doing the same, ever watchful for the vultures trying to grab reins lean on the horse or just become a pain in the butt.
Well done Trooper. He never stopped watching what the tourists were doing. A very calm horse but I hate to see them being so crowded, and treated like tourist attractions rather than being respected as the King's Guard.
It’s about time they stop the public getting close to the soldiers and horses, it isn’t fair on both of them with all the pawing and camera flashes and constant loud voices. Can they not put a barrier up around them? No one takes any notice of the signs or the safety of those doing their duty 🙏
@@ThEhObBiT1959 Any form of barrier is not possible it's a public footpath in Whitehall under control of Westminster council not MOD . Plus a barrier would potentially be more dangerous to horse and Trooper than any tourist if the horse became unsettled and ran forward .
Here we go,let’s crowd the horse stick our fingers up,try to speak to the guard, rub the horses nose til it bleeds, grab the reins, poke cameras in the horses face.Pretend we’re not scared…Anything but act normal🤪
You can literally see the shame on her face for ages after being told to get off the reins, well it was stupid to do it and part of the blame must fall on the Tour Guides not telling them over and over not to touch the reins or guards. Even the stupid face to face photos should also stop, a simple photo of you and a Kingsguard Horse and Trooper should be enough. Excellent work by a Guard who truly care about his horse and its welfare well done mate. Keep Safe Keep Strong 🦘🦘🦘🦘💖💖💖💖
Haha. That guard makes me laugh. Proper hawk eye. :) In all honesty though. The Police should step in when the crowds become too big or close o the horse.
I enjoy watching as I will never get to see the guards and horses. Please GET out of my way with your spoiled, rich attitudes, cameras. You don't even look at there beauty.
@debbiewilcox7262 hi debbiewilcox7262 I totally agree with It is a shame how they turned it into A photo shoot It is so special to watch the guards how they carry on their duty and show the world what they do I really dislike it when people laugh at the guards, people make fun at them,it is very sad Im from Australia, but i watch them how they carry on their duty with grace, and seriously ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 👋👋🌻😊
There was one nice younger woman, was touching bridle, but unlike many jerks, she was nice about it when guard said something. She didn't get an attitude, or keep trying like many do. So 👍👍👍👍👍
How does a person in any world think it is OK to press your face against an animal that doesn't know you? My dog is the sweetest boy you can imagine, but if a stranger walked up to him and did this, I don't know how he would react. (3:42). At some point they are going to have to put a barrier between public and guards
He's my favourite guard and he doesn't take any sh...t from anyone and is very very good at his job. You can tell by his face what he thinks of the tourists. Very handsome too.
You know what bug's me, no matter where there from in the world, there's a big enough sign saying not to touch the rain's, and he still has to yell at them before they say sorry, and it's not like they couldn't read it cos she spoke perfect English, and had glasses on, AND THE SIGHN WAS BIG ENOUGH TO READ!!!! So why are people still being so damn thick about it!!!! I mean the horse isn't a toy, it's at work not rest. Sarah from Yorkshire. X
Apparent;y these adults had mommies that never told them "look, don't touch". Now they are out and about in public places acting pathetic, rude and disrespectful.
I would like for them to be treated the same, ppl in your space, walking up to you with hands out, pushing you to get closer, etc! If they're so interested in the horses, should have a petting zoo/educational center, separate from Kings Guard, that explains to keep HANDS OFF these horses!!! Madness! 😮
This ridiculous behaviour needs to stop. There is no respect whatsoever for the guards and horses. Tourists think they are there for a photo opportunity.
Some people were only taking a picture of that horse's face with them, not of the guard at all. What a sight to remember. 🙄 And how they even dare to go so close to that horse? It's not their horse neither is that place a petting farm.
I would love to be in charge of the button that drops the bollards down. I would wait till they were all leaning on them then press the button. Inthink i am evil
Hello from Spain, I hope the horses get disinfected after every duty with the amount of people that just have to touch. STOP BLOODY TOUCHING. Why do they have too., you can see the guards getting fed up with it. It's like "look at me I'm touching a horse". Those poor horses they don't like the most sensitive part of their bodies continually get pawed at. I keep shouting at the screen stop it. And why do they STILL have to touch the bridle or reins to take a picture. I wish more protocols were in place to protect them. I'm glad the guard can say something but they seem to have to keep their mouths shut most of the time.
They allow far too many people in this area all at once, about time they should cut down the numbers allowed to gather and make it a DO NOT TOUCH THE HORSES AT ALL ruling.
Theyre preventing the guard from doing his job of watching activity up and down and around the area. Hes not there to babysit or micromanage tourists. He needs to start taking control of this crowding and touching and make them move over. Ive seen other guards do it.
The Police Horses may have come through St James Park, which you can access through Horse Guards Parade. The Police have stables in Hyde Park, Lewisham, Scotland Yard, Hammersmith, West Hampstead, Kings Cross and a place in Surrey. Horse Guards is stables, barracks and Household Cavalry Museum, all of which are MOD. I hope this helps you a little 😊
What is it with all these finger gestures, some of them look really rude, all this really needs to stop I feel sorry for the horses and guards no respect whatsoever, We British are to soft with tourists....
Why don’t they put the people behind the bolders permanently. Much safer for the horse and the guards. These toerist think they are in a pettingzoo. No respect for the animals or the guards.
