Nah. These comments are not passing the vibe check. How many years ago did patricia say that shes going to be seperating her personal life from her youtube career? I.e mike not being on screen so much, and her kiddos. So why would you go into depth with personal examples in this video? I agree, thats the videos have definitely changed, and its been a while since ive watched one of patricias videos. But at the same time, im a busy working mum of two now. I think some of y'all are mad because shes not brit pop princess anymore, and thats ok. As long as its genuine growth and maturity, its not ok to poo poo over what people choose to share. We have become greedy on social media.

We miss you as our “friend” Patricia. That’s what everyone is missing. Your energy is like the girl we grew up with, very down to earth and sweet. Many of us feel like we know/knew you because we saw you share your life for years on the YT. And you really do have a “besties” vibe about you that not everyone has. It’s not something you can learn, it’s a gift. There’s just something about the simplicity of, “Girl, look what I just bought at XYZ store!” or even, “Hey friend, let me tell you what it’s like being a mother these days!” We like that because this is the relatable Patricia we know. Even the finance videos are amazing because we like queen about her coin! For me, I personally don’t mind ads because I usually skip over them in videos anyway. Make your money, feed your family! But if the whole video is an “ad masquerading as a GRWM” (as someone else commented) then it doesn’t really give us an opportunity to see if we really want to watch or not. Just talk about what you’re up to these days. Whatever you feel comfortable with: marriage, motherhood, food, events, spiritual life, advice, taxes and all the boring adulting stuff we hate to do, It may sound boring or uninteresting to you, but we will watch ANYTHING willingly, even some ads lol. Just read through your responses to one of the comments below suggesting that it might be time to call it quits regarding this channel and, to be honest, that’s so valid! More so than the type of content, I feel like what most of us OG viewers miss is authenticity. I always say, we humans have an in-built radar to detect when someone or something is genuine or not, and lately many of these videos have not felt authentic, like the spark is gone! We feel distant from you which, contrary to what many say, I don't think it comes from you reinforcing your boundaries regarding your private life (which, IKTR, as you should!), but again, a lack of honesty and closeness with us. Before, when watching your videos it always felt like chit-chatting with your best friend about life; not because of the content it self but personality! I still remember and to this day quote your 'shinning, shinning, shinning, shine'! It was fun watching you for you! That's why I feel we're all struggling to connect with these videos where you're clearly working from a script and creating a list of things regarding a certain topic to fit in a sponsorship. That's why your latests fashion week vlogs were the only videos I enjoyed for a long time. I saw unfiltered, excited Patricia! Now, with this I don't want you to think we're ignorant to the limitations there are to creating content, specially when most of it has been about your life, which you have now chosen to be more protective about. I can understand and see why finding a balance now can be trickier. If you ask me, I don't even know the exact answer, hahahaha! But again, going back to what I said earlier, I genuinely believe authenticity isn't something that can be faked, and it comes from absolutely loving what you do! If it's something you're not naturally excited for, I think it's a good exercise to evaluate if it's worth continuining and, if not, move on with others projects that do. Not everything is meant to last forever, life has it's chapters! That said, I think there might be other ways of continuing to connect with your audience! I believe Jackie Aina is a great example of this. She's made a flawless transition from YT to TikTok! Not only has short-form allowed her to reinforce her boundaries on her personal life (because, how much can you share in a minute-long video, lol), but she's also been able to rebuild her brand and identity as a content creator, as TikTok's audience is not dependent on your life and personality carrying your brand as much as the actual content does. They don't care about who you are as much as the value you're providing them through your video. Don't know if I make sense here! So, it's like starting with blank slate! And TikTok is so diverse, you must not be JUST a fashion creator, or JUST an informative account. It's whatever you want it to be. And I think it's a great bet, Patricia! Just know that whatever you do, many of us are wishing success and peace upon your life!

I'm glad to see a video from her, and I would love if she posted more on her other channel about finance and business. Love both channels have been a subscriber for years. I will say, I was super excited about this video slightly confused because I didn't know what she was apologizing for. I don't take issue with the fact that this was an ad. At the end of the day she gets money and has bills to pay. People's livelihood depends on her, she has staff. I get it! What I have noticed as of late content only seems to be posted if it's an ad. I can understand other subscribers frustration, and that they're here to support/enjoy content and it can come across like she's only coming on here to make her money. But at the end of the day it's a symbiotic relationship, we watch because it feeds something in us and she gets monetary gain from it. I personally don't see an issue with this. I think its clear you've upgraded your life financially, and where there might be a disconnect between what we all originally signed up to see versus the stage your life is in now, I do think there is room for exploring this. For example, I would love a GRWM video where you talk about what its like to live a life where you can afford all the high-end things versus what it was like when you were just starting off (the good, bad and ugly of it all). I think another interesting video would be on how you give back or would like to give back to South London as I know you've mentioned you're a South London girlie through and through. Even a video on what it was like growing up in South London versus how you see it now. I'd love to hear your honest thoughts when you go to a fancy-ass restaurant. Do you feel like you've gotten used to the luxe lifestyle, or do you ever have imposter syndrome. Basically - I think it would be really cool to hear what you actually think of the incredible life you've built for yourself that a lot of your viewers also aspire to.

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to create & post. Sponsored or not, these videos take time, and we appreciate that effort (irrespective of the comments below). Secondly, as a subscriber with you from the early days, a lot of us have actually grown (and progressed) with you. I saw you mentioned maybe closing this channel because you’ve progressed in certain areas , but so have a lot of your subscribers (in their 30s), and so thats not the problem. Admittedly, we have less time for RU-vid, so when i do come to your channel, it's always interesting to see content that is related to your progression. We are mums, wives, business women - balancing the highs and the trials of life; so relatable content across all those areas will likely be better received. Im not so interested in the vlogs and hauls - but anything that is do with self-development, motherhood, relationships (including friendships which are tricky at this age), business and faith (I believe you're Christian), are all aspects that would peak my interest. I don't think you should close the channel. But I do think you should take a reset to consider who this channel is currently serving, and whether you're still excited about serving the needs of your existing subscribers.

I will always admire you, Pat for your personality and creativity but I thought you would have evolved and channeled your brand to building up your community which have stayed with you for the ride. You should have set up a series that involved you getting one on one with a few subscribers and have like a makeover session for their finances or wardrobe, something that builds up the community. That move would have widened your brand and exposed you to new fans. Really consider the direction of your brand because right now, it's just not connecting or relatable anymore.

I reckon it must be tough changing in the public eye especially when people fall in love with a particular version of you that is in the past. You might be trapped in the content creation. Take the genuine feedback but protect yourself from the trolly comments. Maybe take a break and probably don’t read all the comments it may not help your mental health. I love your business content and I was recently watching a video interview you did. As an example, people like Steve Bartlett have built their platform without it centering it on their private life so don’t cave to the pressure to compromise your privacy for views.
