Thanks Lou. I have never really understood art journaling but I really fancy trying it now I have watched this. I only make cards and I don't experiment as I dont want them to go wrong and have to start again. This is such a good idea. I love the way you say its just for you and no-one else has to see it and its more about creating than the end result. Very motivating.
This was so helpful! I've been journaling on and off for a year but this video really answered a lot of questions for me. I decided to use mixed media paper that I then put into a 6-disc binder. I chose that route because I know that I would be so upset if a page I was working on leaked onto another (especially if it was a finished page). Your tip to keep the pages is brilliant. No one else ever addressed that or if they did, they said they didn't mind it bleeding onto other pages. I'm really looking forward to seeing more art journaling from you. I'm starting to prefer that over card-making.

Making art with Finnabair - but I still have problems to find my mojo for both Art Journals & learning to make JJ is more difficult for me.
