I love these birds i have a family living in my backyard every morning they perch on our dock or they are at the edge of the lake on the other side or our side. When i wale up early i look foward to seeing the egrets! Ive seen a wood stork great blue heron Anhinga and other lake birds and dont get me started with the geese their loud all morning 😂 they laid their eggs and the gooslings are growing so fast ❤
What an amazing history. Had no idea of the threat in the name of fashion. I am privileged to have the opportunity to see these majestic birds during my walks along the way in a local park. I grateful I have also been able to capture their beauty on camera. They are something to behold in person. Thankfully they have been saved. Thanks for sharing.
There's one that is always at my park in Mission, Texas. We have a large pond at the park with plenty of ducks, geese, and a Great Egret. I love going to that park to exercise because of the beautiful wildlife there!
