I know the rules on filming and uploading gameplay are a little strict at MLB games so when I go it will mostly be seat , food , stadium walk thrus and experience reviews . Should be fun to pepper in some pro baseball from time to time
Lifelong Phillies fan here. Glad to see you getting back to your roots and your love of baseball, Adam! Back in 1989, I spent a few weeks in Florida for Spring Training, going to all the team's practice facilities in the day and to games at night. In Kissimmee at Osceola County Stadium I met the Astros' Kevin Bass and Glenn Davis and got their autographs -- super nice guys. Still have photos of them from that day. Wonderful memories -- thanks, Adam!
“Hey dad, wanna have a catch?”. I’ll never forget that movie or that time you played catch with your dad at the Field of Dreams. Thanks Adam for providing this content that takes me back to my childhood as well.
I'm 46 and came back to baseball about 10 years ago after a long hiatus. The game is elegantly simple and impossibly intricate at the same time. For my money, the perfect sport. Speaking for diehard baseball fans everywhere, welcome back to the fold Adam. Glad to have you back.
Really nice to see you rekindle some love for something that brings you happiness. I've been going through a tough time and gotten back into cycling that I loved when i was younger. Similar feeling. Looking forward to you mixing it up and doing things for you ☺ 👍🏻
Very excited to see this new series of baseball stadium adventures. I’ve been to a few in recent years with fun highlights at each. The Milwaukee Brewers have a multi-story slide in the outfield for the mascot after home runs, the Houston Astros have a train that runs back and forth after home runs and the Minnesota Twins have access to the room where the organ is being played. Have fun out there and thanks for always taking us along!
Americana....baseball, hotdogs, apple pie and chevrolet. True american sport. Cant wait for these baseball vids. God Bless America and you ATW. Hope your dad has a very Happy Fathers Day.
This is very cool Adam, it's funny as we get older we lose touch with things we onced loved so much, and all it takes is one thought or moment and they pull us back in.
You can't connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backwards . So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future . Trust in the process of the Journey . Lots of Love ❤ . I hope everyone enjoys their Day 😎 . "HAPPY FATHER's Day to all of our Fathers out there."
Just at the beginning! Baseball!!! LOVE IT! sorry I yelled! Just remembering you and your dad, and earlier videos, throwing a baseball around. Love it! Saw many Angels and Padres games back when I was growing up in Phoenix....You know we all vacationed n SocAL!
Loved this video. Baseball has always been my favorite as well. One of my favorite teams from the 90’s was the Atlanta Braves. Maddox, Glavine and Smoltz. One of the best starting pictching lineups ever!
This brings back so many memories at that stadium! Glad you’re getting back to baseball. I’ve done the same and even got back to collecting cards again 😁 Have fun dude
I grew up playing baseball but have been out of it for years and years…my 7 year old boy finally wanted to give it a try this year and It was the time of my life watching him play and grow into a better player…such a awesome thing to watch!!!
When my son was in 8th grade in Longwood his class took a trip to a Royal's game in the stadium in Davenport. So sad all is gone now. When we lived in Ogden, Utah my son and I went to several games of the Ogden Raptors, the LA Dodger's rookie team. We saw Tommy LaSorda there several times. One time we were sitting near him and could hear him cracking one-liners like Rodney Dangerfield! He signed autographs for hours, but we never bothered him. We just enjoyed listening to him, and took a few pictures.
This sounds like some great ideas. I am also a baseball lover and can't wait for this content. I look forward to and really enjoy all of your videos but this is going to awesome.
One of my coolest memories was seeing one of my all time favorite players, Chipper Jones' last regular season home game back in 2012. Was such an honor seeing a baseball icon of his caliber play in person and being there for such a monumental occasion! You are right though, there is something about an MLB game that is so much different. Great vlog!
That'll be entertaining to see the baseball parks that you visit and it sounds like an exciting new series for you to delve into! I hope you have a lot of fun over the summer with this!
Great content on this one, reminds me of seeing the KC Royals at spring training in Kissimmee at the old Boardwalk and Baseball park in the late 80s. Like you, I'm lucky to now live near a major league ballpark (Nats), but I'm still a diehard Braves fan thanks to Ted Turner and WTBS back in the days of Dale Murphy/Bob Horner etc. Really enjoying the diverse themes lately, thanks Adam.
Only baseball game Ive gone to was in SF to see the Giants and the Dodgers. Took the ferry over from my home town of Marin County. Boy I had a BLAST! Looking forward to seeing you mix it up alittle Adam! Always keeping us on our toes Mr. Woo. 😉👍
It’s exciting that you’re going to enjoy and have fun going to baseball games once again and enjoying stadium food. The Braves hat looks good on you. Field of Dreams was on AMC earlier today. It’ll be fun seeing all the different ballparks. Looking forward to it all. God bless you
⚾️ 🌭 Love this idea! Hope you make it to Milwaukee to see the Brewers some day. Bob Uecker still calls the home games and they have a statue of him in the last row of the upper deck at the stadium commemorating his infamous old school Miller Lite commercials.
Love this video. A great addition to your regular content, Adam! Definitely take in some games if you can. I got hit by a foul ball at a spring training game once lol. By the way, you could always visit the Yankees minor league and spring training facility over in Tampa!
I never had you as a baseball fan. I'm a baseball fanatic. Living in So Cal, the Halos have been my team forever. The more I watch you, the more I find things I like about you.😊
We watched Field of Dreams last night because of you showing the location in the vlog you did with your Dad.. Really enjoyed the film and can now relate to your vlog more by watching it. Being English Ive learnt about American Football but not quite got into baseball yet. Stay safe and much love.
I used to be involved in baseball quite a bit in the late 80's early 90's as well. I saw a couple of LA Dodgers games at Dodger stadium in 1987, 1988 and 1990. It was awesome!
I was also a huge baseball nerd growing up, and still an one to this day TBH. Baseball is one of those things that if you fall in love with as a kid that you always are in love with
Love this for you! Nothing better than a dog and a baseball game! How about a road trip to all the MLB stadiums? My nephew takes his kids to a different stadium every year for opening day. I’m excited!!!! Love the hat it’s a good look for you!
I’ve been watching your channel for a long time (since the foam head days) from our shared love of films and Disney. And now you’re adding baseball to your content, it can’t get better! If you’re in Florida in March, you could do a road trip around the entire state for Spring Training.
I share your love of the greatest game on the planet, Baseball. I too had aspirations of playing and was even scouted. I guess that happens when you play shortstop and nothing gets by you or make a error for i over 3 seasons. Unfortunately life throws you a sandy Koufax curveball and that did not work out. I love going out on the road to see my Dodgers. So yes as you can tell, I am partial to the Dodgers, yes I root for the Angels as well but not when they play the Dodgers. The love of the Dodgers runs deep since my dad grew up in Brooklyn and was there for their first ever World Series title in 1955. Anyway I went to a game at that stadium you worked at back when the Dodgers had their spring training in Vero Beach. We saw them play the Astros there. After the game I got, now Cubs manager, David Ross autograph.
Looking forward to seeing some ⚾️ ball playing. But honestly Adam, you could literally make a video on ice melting and make it fun and interesting 😂. I say it all the time you are the best!!! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and life with us!!
Nothing like a good day at the ballpark⚾️ took the day off on opening day and afternoon games. Loved it ⚾️ Haven't seen live ball played in a lifetime. Miss the ballpark ⚾️ I like the thought of joining you for a few games ✌ looking forward to it 🎈
Adam, I went to Wendelstedt umpire school back in 1985 and 1986. I was really young then right out of high school. It was in Daytona Beach. Definitely some of the best times of my life.
My friend was a coach for the Astros from 89-93. I can remember coming down from NJ to see him during Spring Training a few years while doing a 2 week Fla spring training trip.
Well the channel has just gone WAY up in my estimation Baseball content to come, fantastic, love the game from here in the UK look forward to any future content , need to get to the Rawlings shop on the 535 and grab a glove so you can do some ball hawking at the games 👍🏻⚾️❤️
Lots of luck to you Adam hope you have the most wonderful experiences at all the games you go to and I’m so looking forward to being in the stadium with you wherever that might be also two other great baseball movies you forgot to mention is Mr 3000 with Bernie Mac and Mr. Baseball with Tom Selleck so with that enjoy all your games to the fullest and with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Adam and I’ll see you on the next vlog adventure also please be safe out there
I'll be going to a Miami Marlins game when I visit my Daughter and Granddaughters in August! A friend has visited ALL of the stadiums while still holding down a full-time job!
I used to want to be in the WWE when I was little and join forces with Kane and Undertaker lol Clearly that hasn't happened. It's nice that you still love baseball and that you keep that love for it alive. I hope that whatever game you attend first is a lot of fun and that you really enjoy yourself!😊
I umpired T-ball to Men's leagues when I got out of high school. I thought about going to umpire school in FL and trying to pursue it as a career, but I didn't have the money to enroll and such. I've been very blessed in where I ended up in life, so I'm grateful!
Yes this stadium hosted the Florida Fire Frogs (Braves High A) from 2017-2019. They were going to play down in North Port in 2020 but that didn't happen, and then the team was one of 40 teams that were removed from affiliated baseball at the end of 2020 and the team folded after that. Before moving to Kissimmee they were the Brevard County Manatees out in Viera on the coast, where the Nationals and Marlins before them used to have Spring Training. Unfortunately just since 2016 we have lost the Braves, Astros, and Nationals from our area with Spring Training. Closest team to Orlando now is the Tigers down in Lakeland which is not that close. Spent a lot of time here between Astros ST and the Fire Frogs.
You would have made a good umpire. Would love to hear your best sttttrriiikkee lol. I'm excited to see this series peppered in. I think the baseball stadiums are works of art. I'm not able to travel much so happy to see the stadiums vicariously through the woo lol.
Love the hats, I was just at Dodger Stadium last week with 52,000+ in attendance. It was great to be back at the ballpark. I'm also planning on going to see Ohtani and Trout in Anaheim as well.
If you're interested in getting back in to baseball I highly recommend the Jomboy media channel. I don't even really like baseball but I still love to watch his baseball breakdowns. They are equal parts hilarious, informative, and entertaining.
Best idea ever! I’m so happy you rekindled your love for the game! Would be great to see you take good old dad to some games! Wrigley Field is so iconic! Still operate the scoreboard by people running inside of it changing the scores ect. Of course you have to a have a few Chicago dogs! This is one of your greatest ideas yet! Also would love to see you try to crank some at the batting cages! Knock some of the rust off! Nothing more Americana than ⚾️. I can’t wait for this to start!
I love it! Baseball slows life down. A wonderful game. An American tradition since 1869. Stop and smell the roses! I know...you already do that. I'm talking about me. ;-)
Great ideas- doing something that “you” truly enjoy!! Baseball is a great hobby (that should help you - relax & un-stress) enjoy your Dad today on Father’s Day 😎
Excellent Adam, Baseball is a fun sports to follow, my two favorites Baseball and Hockey. You should try a hockey game out sometime as well, while in Florida you could try the Lightning or the Solar Bears are in Orlando, and when you are in California you can go to a Ducks, Kings or go down to San Diego to a Gulls game. Have fun where ever you adventures take you!
Most (if not all) stadiums have official tours you can do. We toured the old Busch Stadium before they tore it down. Pretty incredible to sit in the dugout and walk out onto the field where so many legendary Cardinal players played! Would be amazing to tour some other historical stadiums like Wrigley Field, Yankee Stadium, and Fenway Park. (Also the new Busch is awesome too.) Welcome to Baseball Heaven!
@@TheDailyWooNot baseball related, but I also recommend a tour of the new Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers NFL stadium in Inglewood, CA across the street from the Forum. Cool experience they let you go on the field.
Glad you got a TB cap, managed to get a few games in with my son while on holiday from the UK, had to cancel last year due to COVID. Take care and enjoy the games
