Karie, I can relate how important it is to declutter. Wish hangers cold jump into a special place when you remove a garment from the closet. I swear they multiply when we are not looking. I am decluttering too. I actually work a lot so I have to do it in phases like one year lol. I have gotten rid of at least 100 lbs of clothing. I used to sell on ebay...it is not all my personal wear clothing. I just don't like having to store so much in my place. I am decluttering beauty items, knickknacks, decor, and kitchenware because I don't want to get overwhelmed when I finally move.

Hi karrie I have the same issue with clothes but I have three sizes. One thing I did that may help you ( I have limited space as well) is I got two tubes and put the two sizes I couldn’t fit into at the moment by size in each tube and just store them under my hanging clothes. When I notice I need to go up or down a size I just pull the tube I need out and do a 5 second switch. This has saved me some much aggravation in the mornings. I know what is hanging or in my drawers fit right now. I would spend 15 minutes almost daily trying to find what would fit each day, that would put me in the worst mood and I would be hating on myself bc I couldn’t fit into what I had. Just a suggestion.

I got one of those little shelves for my bathroom (I think you showed it in another video) and I love it! It really works well. I was chucking when you showed everything you were going to see if your family wanted, I am the same way I hate just throwing stuff out! It feels so wasteful. For a while I traveled a lot for my job and collected so many of those little bottles of shampoo and conditioner. I finally bagged it all up and took it to our local shelter. I was so glad to get them out of the cupboard! ♡

Nice job. A couple of years ago I switched to the velvet covered hangers. They're slimmer, so take up less room on closet rods, and your clothing will not slip off of them. They're available on Amazon for about $25/ bkx of 50. Switching to that style of hanger was a win for me- no more clothing dumped onto the closet floor, and space saving, too.

Embrace minimalism while you are young. Best advice I could possibly give. Consumerism has ruined the world in many ways. I didn't learn till I was 45.

Breaking out after a new skin care product is called purging. It means the ingredients are working and actually being effective on your skin. You have to wait past that point to see the results.

When we built this house, I didn’t allow any dressers. I find I can keep track of inventory better with no dressers in the house. Everything gets hung except undergarments which have bins.

To help with your dresser drawers maybe take out just one size of the clothes u wear the least. U might could put them n a basket n your closet. I greatly enjoy your channel and your very real life outlook on things.

Thanks for the declutter motivation! Funny you mentioned this about your husband...ditto for my husband too. He changes his voice to mimic different male country artist & sounds just like them. Its so effortless & im a lil jealous i must say. Hes a goof ball so sometimes he will change up the lyrics to make us all laugh. Its diffently a talent that I dont even think they realize.

I have different sizes depending on hormones.... The way I get around it is trying to get things that are adjustable. Wrap skirts, or elastic in shorts waistband. Dresses make life easy too.

Something to consider is one of those baskets that hang on the vanity door. Mine has a basket and then on the side a ring to hold your hair dryer and on the other the straightener. The basket holds my brushes and heat spray and other products but has saved me some space. I got mine at bed bath and beyond.

My bathroom cabinets are awful!! It’s so overwhelming to even think of decluttering them so I typically just close the door and pretend it’s not all there. Lol! My size seems to fluctuate with the seasons too. So my summer clothes are always a size smaller. I guess I’m more active in the summer so I can wear a smaller size. My problem is I don’t have the space to have winter and summer clothes in my closet and drawers at the same time. So then I end up having to store them. I love how you folded your jeans and shorts though!

I’m all about recycling. Do you have recycle ♻️ bins you can put plastic bottles in? Seems like they’re taking more and more items at the recycling centers.

Girl my closet looks like a store From a size 18 down to 14 and 12s . Lol I cut paper towel roll put sizes on them to keep them separate….

For skincare, use vanicream products. My dermatologist told me to use these products, due to my sensitive skin and it has been fantastic. Specifically use sunscreen every single day. As soon as you wake up, put vancream suncream on. You will never age. I am 50 and people insist I am 30.

Depending on what you were using as far as skincare, you may have been going through a skin purge. And that's a good thing. It means it's working. (Digging out dead skin and oils) Especially if you are using products that contain glycolic or salicylic acids. A trip to the dermatologist would be helpful. They can give great recommendations for over the counter products as well. Skin care matters!!!!
