Welcome to McQsViews people! So i'm a RU-vid newbie...This is the start of my journey in this world and i'm hoping you will want to join me as I give my views on stuff. I say "stuff" because it is going to be about anything that interests me. Right now that interest is getting prepared to riding the GDMBR (Great Divide Mountain Bike Route). so join me on this adventure as well as others along the way.
I will be talking about gear, getting in shape (I hope), how I plan to document the trip and more. If you have done this ride please comment because I would love to learn from others experiences.

Thank you for posting this. I’m buying this tent tomorrow for bikepacking and haven’t ordered the optional poles. Thinking of using some old carbon backcountry ski poles...can you shove the optional pole all the way to the side? Would you be able to with a little bit longer pole? Wondering how this tent will do in high 30s overnight temps versus the BA UL bikepacking tents.

Cool! I'm not sure if you could have the pole all the way to the side, perhaps with a longer pole. the old carbon ski poles is a good idea. I just had this tent on a bike packing trip where i was up at around 8k elevation and i know the temp got into the low 40's. I think with the right bag it would do well. I Just got the Therma-Rest Vesper 32 quilt and it did great.
