McQsViews is all about my perspective on things, primarily having to do with outdoor adventures. The current focus is my journey into the sport of BIKEPACKING. I'm also using this goal as the catalyst for learning more about shooting and editing videos.
Just received my minimalist wallet from crazy horse craft. WOW absolutely outstanding and the packaging it comes in is wonderful. Two leather keys rings included which I was not expecting. The leather is gorgeous. Will be buying more products from this company. 👍👍 Andy UK.
Looking at the Arkel Seatpacker 15 for my crack at the great divide ride (2025) - did you end up doing the Great Divide ride and how did the seatpacker perform?
Life took a turn (not in a bad way) and unfortunately I didn't end up doing the GDMBR. it is still something I would like to do...I have done a few solo rides (roughly 100 mile/3day trips) and thought the seat pack performed really well, very stable and secure and good amount of room. Perhaps 2025 is the year I should shoot for 😁
Have you had any problems with rain blowing under the front vestibule or up through the front, top vent hood? How about in the foot end with the split opening cover? Any issues with rain blowing in there?
I haven't yet used it in the rain so I can't say, but it is pretty low profile so I feel it will offer really good protection. Would say there will probably be more of an issue with condensation
@@mcqsviews75 I’ve read a couple of reviews and the issue of condensation does come up when you have to close it up due to weather in more humid climate like the southeast. Backpacking Light has a good review but they consider it a limited one due to not having tested it in high winds or snow. It wouldn’t be my first choice for very snowy conditions. I think it would do well in wind with the additional guy points in use. Thanks for the response.
Was this entirely shot on zv 1? I was thinking of getting one but worried that it might not be good with nature shoots that capture long distances. Would love to see it's performance in capturing wildlife photos as well if you are upto it
Unfortunately the zv1 is a fixed lense camera... You may be thinking of the zv-e10 camera and for me I would start out with the 16-50 and upgrade from there
No rollpacker review and a lot of wasted footage. Coulndnt even find how you liked the bag after riding with it. pretty bad review if there even was one in there
on the Protrail, can you use a stick in lieu of the rear pole, and then put both poles in front, each angled out toward the sides (to keep the full opening available and to have additional stability.)??
So you could probably fashion a stick to work if you find the right height stick. The poles are different lengths so you couldn't use both in the front... Good idea but not possible on this tent.
This is by far the best cinematic Video/shortfilm that i can find on youtube, that is shot on the zv-1! great video!!!!! can u remember which settings/picture profile you used? just great! Also the color grading!!
Thank you so much Wolfram... quite frankly I don't know that i used a PP. If I remember correctly I just added an adjusted LUT in post. Thanks again for the comments i'm really glad you liked it 😁
