You absolutely have combat shotguns in the Goliath gang box. It's on the ganger, throwing the grenade, with it's stock folded up. You get two of those in the box. The ones that come in the upgrade sprue are actually normal shotguns.
Great content as usual. About the 'Useless Heavy flamers' in a few weapon upgrade sets: just think of them as sets of arms to hold other useful Heavy weapons, like for example you could easily convert the Delaque's Heavy flamer into a Multi melta. Anyway keep up the good work :)
Thanks for this video. It's helping understand just how much drilling and magnetizing I need to do....I'm really sick of magnetizing, and I still have two gangs to go.(( Great advice on the house books. I would say the books are as essential as the models themselves.
Why has VanSaar all the fun weapons? Whats with these guys? Can i loot them? When u said: you can play two deathmaidens but you will have no friends, my wife looked in my eyes and said: i need no friends, i got these ... Dire times my friend, dire times. They defo look like boltguns to me..? but could be a case of them looking very similar perhaps? Either way that would probably make things easier if you want to use them as either as long as they are somewhat distinguishable from each other I suppose
@@wellywoodwargaming In the House of Chains it has a diagram of all the weapons and labels it as a combat shotgun. It's a... different looking one for sure, but also doesn't really fit a bolter either. The upgrade kit also lists those shotguns as just normal shotguns. Of course it doesn't matter, use what you want! Just if we're being technical.
Might have your combat shotguns and normal shotguns around the wrong way, mate. Upgrade kits come with standard shotguns, initial box sets come with combat shotguns.
You get two of those in the box, just chop the axe off and stick it to a left handed gauntlet with the pistol snipped off perhaps? Otherwise you could use the corpse grinder chain cleavers?
I'm not inclined to magnetize these but assume that WYSIWYG isn't a thing considering how likely one is to get new gear throughout a campaign 🤔. Do I need to model for the starting setup, or should I model aspirationally?
