I always forget he exist until a random video pops up in my recommendations.

And they have already changed the Beginner default Swords option to "Assured." You control the ALLPR options!

For those who prefer another zelda game, a number of the 3D zelda games also have good randomizers. Including Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and Windwaker.

Link to the Past used to be my favorite but after playing Minish Cap a couple of times, I actually liked it quite a bit more. The combat was super fun and the animations were very fluid. Too bad it didn't have as many dungeons and world to explore as Link to the Past.

the music and the intro combined really makes me want an alttp remake/hd version in the style of links awakening. sadly, nintendo hates us, and their fans, so a fan-remake is impossible, and, nintendo, ...is nintendo.

I tried it, but naaah, nothing for me. I don't like that they have removed the whole story. The main characters (father, Zelda etc.) are not saying anything. Story is absolutely gone. It's just a random, generic surrounding without any other sense than searching items and thinking where you can use them to progress. Items just placed anywhere where they make no sense. For me that takes away the whole charme of this game. This randomizer might be good for people which just want to have a thinking game where you have to remember things and decide where to go next. But if you want to experience a story, a journey, then this is nothing for you. Seems I had wrong expectations to this randomizer. I thought it would randomize a few items and the order of the dungeons, but keep the whole story more or less as it is.
