Fill that sumbitch as much as you can. When I did a couple of classes with “professional” guys I was surprised how full the bags were. When I came home from the first class I filled mine up more. I use dried sand and pack it in hard. Depending on the bag you might be able to add or remove shot to suit. One of my bags has a Velcro closure but the other is riveted shut which is more of a pain to adjust.
