Can you guys share with me if you guys find it easier to fly in a HOTAS setup or just with the VR controls inside a VR environment?? I am deciding if I need to get a HOTAS since I am also interested in the VR
How do I configuring the HTC Vive touchpads to be able to do the same kinds of things as I am seeing you're able to do with the Oculus joysticks!?! I am unable to manipulate the throttle lever on the C208B I bought so I need to assign throttle control to the controller somehow!!!!
Hello Xplane Team...i got the oculus rift an in Steam vr and anything else it works. but in Xplan in settings i cant choose "enable vr hardware". it doesn't change eather make it better tzo start direct from desktop or from steam or in the steam vr "sytem". ... what can i do? @XPlaneOfficial
Is it possible to use a VR headset, yoke and Pedals at the same time? I most likely want the VR for the view and want to use the external Yoke and rudder to do the rest.
hello I have a problem controller to see but I can not trigger. have you solved the problem? no controllers are displayed in the xplane. Everything goes at the demo only in the full version I have problems
How can I get the tutorial text (like what is shown in the Cessna 172 familiarization) to show up in VR? I have to lift the goggles off to read them on my mirror display and click through as necessary before going back in the goggles. Please tell me I'm missing something simple.
I’m on the oculus rift S and when I click connect to vr it just says left and right controller is disconnected and needs to plugin?? I’ve made sure everything is done right and it is everything is ok but what could it be?
Hi, how do I configure my VR controller? Everything works fine, but when I go to execute the commands on the plane it doesn't execute, it vibrates, the light turns green when I touch the buttons, but it doesn't respond, do you need to configure it manually?
The only problem with VR so far is that when in external views trying to pan around the plane doesn’t work. The blue target comes up and places me somewhere else on the ground. I then have to reset to cockpit view. In other words the external views are stagnant. There is no way to simply pan around the plane. The first beta had the ability, but now it’s gone. Other than that VR in X-PLANE far exceeds expectations!
I too have been trying to find a work around for that. Haven’t found one yet but I’m sure they’ll eventually fix the issue! Still very immersive despite this. VR is the only way I’ll go with my flight sims from now on. I can’t go back to flat screens lol.
Anybody else’s HTC Vive boundary box broken on this game? Only on this game I’ve noticed my boundary box position is screwed up and I end up hitting objects in my room.
Do you need a joystick (not motion controllers) for this game cause I thought of getting aerofly fs 4 but I started reading the rewievs and oh boy they arent happy and x plane 11 vr players are happy but all the videos I say use a joystick soo can someone please tell me?
Hello, i very very very Sad. My Oculus Rift doesnt work on Xplane. The Settings VR Hardware Option bar is enable but i can't click "Enable VR hardware" What did i have to do that it works? I have 32GB RAM, GTX TITAN Black and AMD 8530 an all othe Apps and Games works perfect on the Oculus. Can you tell me some solutions? Does have Steam VR on or of? What about th e oculus software? Thank you!!
I have thou$ands invested in P3d and was going to start checking out xplane, but the VR button is greyed out. I found a couple of posts online stating that you must have a 900 series card. I find that too stupid to be true. P3dv4 and the plethora of addons I have running in every area that fly are far more graphic & cpu intensive than what xplane is and I get a smooth 30+ fps. I have said some great things about xplane in the past 48hrs but if this one fact is true and they have made it that you must have a particular series card, not based on actual performance whatsoever, it has completely changed my opinion of this product. My pc: i7 5960x, MSI Godlike MB, 128gb Corsair ram, 1200w PSU and GTX Titan Z video card, and I cannot vr in a lesser product? Lesser meaning far less hardware intensive than everything else I use VR in.
Did you ever get your vr headset working? I have an oculus quest 2 and the vr button is grayed out on my x plane as well however none of the other tabs in the vr settings tab are grayed out. When I look in windows my computer sees the oculus quest but for some reason xplane doesn’t. Frustrating.
@@mxcollin95 I haven't been on this channel in a while, but I've been 100% MSFS2020. No XP or P3D. VR works best in it and even without addons it's blows both away easily.
I've never been able to do it, I tried for about a week and it was worth the money to get another headset, because of the entire week of time I was fuckin with it
Wow, Valve Index is not supported. :o And I couldn't figure out what was wrong with me when I couldn't change orientation at jumping to a new position. :o But I'll try again for sure.
Just asked for a refund on steam after spending an hour trying to do the tutorials in vr. The tutorials just don't work in vr, there's no instructions or information given, you're just dumped in the cockpit with no idea what to do. Was expecting better after seeing lots of youtube videos, but these were all clearly made by people who knew their way around the sim before they started to use vr. As a first-time experience in vr it's awful.
