Interesting. Your Work Bull is a sort of mirror image of my early MF 204 (1959 by serial number). My bucket hydraulic valves are on the left, hydraulic reservoir in left bucket frame, hydraulic filter up front with the. Cessna oil pump, ignition switch on the right side, starter button on left. I bought the one wire alternator from Yesterday’s Tractor; it has the correct tach/hourmeter drive connection on the back. I don’t see a three point or PTO on yours, must be a later model. My backhoe was separated when I bought it. It does not have swing-down outriggers, just a wide frame and vertical feet. Also, it’s the “sliding kingpost” model. Many parts are still available at reasonable prices, including sediment bowl. I need to buy the seal kit and go through my power steering. The control valve pukes out the fluid. The manual says Type A ATF in hydraulics, in torque converter, and in power steering. I used Dexron III in the torque converter, but read that Dexron is not recommended for power steering because it damages the seals. I know resurrecting my backhoe will be a big job, but it has three buckets and can do a lot of work. I’ll be interested to see how you make out with your Massey Ferguson.

one of the most important when rebuilding a Marvel-Shebbler carb is to make shure you install the throttle shaft seal and make shure the hole for it is not to worn-out. You can drill and install bushing for it. Czech out for those parts at Just8n

Just found you and subscribed. Can you give us a ball park idea of what the parts you buy cost? Always good idea of what doing something like this is going to cost? Also cool to know if what you get is on line and a chineesium crap part or when you have to lay out more for some parts you cant source on line cheap.

What size tractor backhoe ?

Would you talk about your corrugated welding shop or garage that is separate from your normal shop or it may be a different house or property none the less can you go over it

Your cheap inline fuel filters DO LEAK. I also purchased a bunch real cheap…one leaked out all over my brand new paint job..replaced with a metal one. I hate cheap Chinese crap
