Use the 706/862 head on it from your 4.8, ups the compression. Just picked up my 6.0 today, going in the Ford Ranger

Correct. I actually meant to mention that in the video even though I told myself to remember but after that torque converter bolt debacle I completely forgot. I'll most likely try to find a pair of 243/799 or maybe even go with square ports. We'll see.

My lq4 came out of a 2002 yukon and it has the drive by wire throttle body but also has a 4l60e flex plate bolted on it

No such thing as an lq4 out of a yukon unless it was a 3/4 ton yukon XL

@@krustyclassicsgarage I believe it was, I bought it on eBay which they provided a video of it running before it was pulled. It came with everything including the gas pedal to do a swap and it also had the EGR on it. I thought it was interesting. The flex plate is dished like one you would see on a 4.8 or 5.3 but it'll work in my half ton GMC Sierra with a built 4l65e transmission

@Mason57184 yukon Denali did have dbw in 01-02 so maybe that's what you have but it wouldn't be an LQ4. Most were 5.3s and very rarely some were LQ9s but best to fact check me. Also, a lot of bamboozling goes on, on ebay lol

If it's a Gen 3 iron block 6.0. Yes.

Does the Cuda have a 4L80E? If not I would run it behind that cammed 6 liter. 4L60E life is halfway fine behind a 5.3 but I wouldnt suspect it to handle being in a heavy vehicle and more power.

Cuda has a 4l60 and it'll stay a 4l60. That's the common internet thought process. Keep a 4l60 cool, don't tow 10k pounds with it everyday and don't launch at every stop light and they'll last. I paid $200 for the 4l60 in the Cuda and have been daily driving it for over 2 years now.
