Sandra you have such a beautiful soul. Watching yet another video of the story of you as I venture back. Last evening I watched one of you interviewing your wonderful son. It's amazing how interwoven circumstances are where there really aren't any coincidences. Thank you for sharing your story & being a springboard for women in the latter 3rd of their life. You're delightful & an inspiration. Keep shining your light. 💝
You have really made my day today. Thank you so much. I try to share what I have been through so that others will not give up on life. There is a second chapter ahead. ❤️. Sandra
@@lifewithsandrahart that is so beautiful Sandra. Thank you for your generous heart. Yes, I see adult children struggle & grandchildren teens and young adults and wish them a better path. If only the lessons of those before them were enough. You brighten my days as I watch & am grateful for the hope you inspire in us. 💕
You have no idea how you inspired me... Thank you, Right now I am so lost at this time in my life (64.)... I just found out the man I trusted most of my life was lying to me.. I was devastated and so hurt, broken, I became ill with colon cancer and removal of it.. I now have to figure out how to make it on my own from here, such a long story, I'm just letting you know that I am so happy I found you... To help me through this... Thank you so much... You are beautiful, loving, so is your wonderful husband.. God Bless you..
Mary, The first thing you have to NEVER forget us that you are worthy and that you deserve!!! There is nothing that you can’t overcome if you are healthy and work toward climbing out. Stay well by trying not to stress and put that energy into solutions of how to recreate a new life for yourself. Baby steps and one day at a time. It won’t happen over night, but you can do this!! YOU are all you need now to fix your life.DON’T EVER THINK YOU CAN’T! ! ❤️. Sandra
I should be packing for a major move happening next week but instead am binge watching your videos! Why you don't have thousand of subscribers is a mystery to me. I love your sweet spirit, curious mind and zest for wringing life out of each day. You have inspired me already and I am looking forward to more videos to come.
Dsnrbec How nice of you to post such a positive comment about my channel. I am so glad you found me. I downsized last year from a home that I lived in for 44 years, so I know what you are going through! I am hoping more viewers will find me, but in the meantime, I am enjoying sharing my life experiences and this Over Sixty adventure I am on. Good luck with your move and thank you for joining me on this new journey of mine. Warm wishes your way. Sandra
Oh wow! I used to watch Romper Room when I was a kid! I'm 51 now! I enjoy your channel! You are such an inspiring Lady! I just love your calm and friendly demeanor!
@@lifewithsandrahart I think schizophrenia people have dissociative identity disorders and maybe he didn’t know he was stalking you because it was the other identity that was . It’s a fascinating disease and some can have over a dozen personalities mostly related to dissociative defense mechanism due to childhood trauma. Very hard to live with such people as one never knows which personality will be present! I’m glad you made it so you can shine your light!!!
SO INSPIRATIONAL, I needed this so much! I am approaching 50(gulp) in a yr and a half..I have done acting in NYC in the past on several popular shows but wasn't able to go as far as I wanted and now you have just inspired me to start a new chapter at 50 just like you did! thank you
I’m so happy to hear you say that. It’s never too late if I could do it when I was 50 you can too. I think maybe things are starting to open up in New York City, at least that’s what my SAG says. Best of luck to you. Never give up❤️
Sandra- I’ve felt a connection with you since I first found you on RU-vid, but couldn’t understand why…until NOW. Romper Room was my favorite tv show when I was a little one!! Thank you for the many HOURS of childhood entertainment and now for sharing your wisdom💖
Your age certainly does not define you. Your one of the most interesting women on you tube. I just started watching your videos so I have watched quite a few over the last few days. You have such good advice and you seem genuine and so down to earth. Your truly a Blessing. Thanks for sharing!
Cheryl, You don’t know how much I appreciate your comment. Sometimes when we expose ourselves and put our lives out there we are not sure if what we have to give will be appreciated. I can’t thank you enough for this kind comment. ❤️. Sandra
How inspiring Sandra! I am starting to be a devoted fan of yours! I found your channel a few months ago, something for the mature women that also keeps us with a youthful spirit! Thank you for sharing your life, very inspiring!!
Seasoned Diva, Thank you for coming back each time to watch my channel. My children talked me into this knowing how much living I have done and how much I enjoy connecting with others. We all have this journey we are taking, so why do it alone? It is so inspiring for me, too, to hear other stories about life over sixty and how we all can really make it matter. Thank you for commenting and I sincerely appreciate you joining me on our pro-aging adventure. ❤️. Sandra
I used to be bored until I found you, such a sweet soul. I listen to you intently and follow your advice on many topics such as beauty/fashion. I enjoy listening to you talk about your life, it gives me hope. I love how you interview Arthur and I’m inspired by his responses at times. I’m soo happy that you’re happy because you’ve been through so much, same as I have. Thanks for sharing all of your journey.❤️💐
Gutchie, thank you for your kind comments. I’m so happy that you decided to come along with me on this journey. Arthur just loves to be interviewed. He is so happy that so many people enjoy his conversations. So nice to have you here❤️
Wow Sandra I now just watch this older video and I was surprised to hear all your story but I celebrate you ,I started watching you since 2020 and I love every video , you are such an open book.. and you add to my daily thought s and feeling . I’m 73 , feeling great in spirit , a few aches and pains , but onward Christian soldier . Thank you for coming to my home . Love you girl.❤️🙏🏻
Maria, I am so happy to have you as part of this community. My life is not what I expected when I was younger, but everything that has happened to me has made me a stronger and better person. I am so delighted to have you here. Thank you for your kind comment love your way❤️
I'm so glad I clicked on one of your videos. I've since watched several and look forward to watching many more. Wow, you started a RU-vid channel when you were 78! I liked what you said about making the best of the years we have. You are interesting and inspirational.
Thank you very much for spending some time with me here on RU-vid. I’m so happy you watched a couple of my videos. Yes, I was 78 when I started and now I’m 82. Ages just a number❤️
I LOVVVED ROMPER ROOM!! It was my fav show! When I was about 3 the show was on and the teacher I guess you was looking in the magic mirror and always talking about children you could see so I grabbed the hammer and went towards the TV. This was about 1968. My Mom asked me what I was doing and I told her I was going to get into the classroom so the teacher could see me! LOLOLO! Such beautiful memories!!
Roxy, Thank you for sharing you Romper Room story. That was so sweet. What a wonderful memory. I’m so glad you didn’t demolish the television screen!😊 ❤️ I really love this.❤️
Sandra, I'm thrilled to have found you again! I LOVED Romper Room as a child, and to find you now, again, is like a dream come true. I'm 72 - and still your loving presence on Romper Room affects my life. Isn't that amazing how something so long ago has such a powerful presence now? Thank you for your RU-vid channel - I was following it before I knew you were "my" Romper Room person. Synchronicity. You had a profound effect on my life. Your kind, loving presence affected me deeply. Your videos now inspire me, and make me so happy.
Suzann, How nice you are! Thank you so much! Romper Room meant so much to me, too . Thank you for joining me again. I love having you join me. ❤️. Sandra
I love listening to your stories....You are such an amazing lady and have so much to offer. I am still waiting for my prince charming and I know he will show up one of this days.....Thanks for sharing your life with us.....in gratitude....MINDY
Mindy De Britos My came when I wasn't even looking. That's how it usually happens. I told my grandson in Chicago last night who broke up with his girlfriend last year and can't seem to find anyone he likes. I told him to quit looking and the right one will find him when the time is right. Your Prince Charming is out there just waiting to find you. Have a wonderful day. Sandra
Claire Germain Nail Thank you for the kind sentiments. Sometimes it is difficult sharing life and its unexpected moments. Life is full of surprises, isn't it? Warm wishes to you for a wonderful weekend. Sandra
OMG! I can't believe you're the Romper Room lady! Every time I've watched your videos, I recognized your voice and thought it sounded like her. But weren't you called Miss Linda? So so sorry to hear this story about your husband. How devastating that must have been. My husband and I have been together for 46 years and he decided he was not happy and left me 5 months ago. I too am devastated at this time. He suffers from depression, always has, but now is looking for happiness outside of our marriage. He says we're not finished but won't come home. I pray everyday for him to return to me and live our lives out together the way I had always thought we would.
Roylene, It is a terrible feeling when we feel we don’t have control of our lives. Forty- six years is a long time. Would he ever consent to going into couples therapy to try and save your marriage? Perhaps his depression has everything to do with him and not your marriage. Sometimes we just have to let go and build our lives, hoping the outcome will be best for us. Try and make yourself happy and surround yourself with people you know who truly love you. I’ll be thinking of you. ❤️. Sandra
Life Over Sixty With Sandra We WERE in couples therapy During his betrayal. He says he’s in love with another women.... but is still miserable and cries constantly. He’s now stopped therapy and quit all medication. We often talk and see each other. He’s extremely confused. I’m going to wait it out as long as I can. He’s been wonderful for 46 years and deserves a chance....but I’m getting so weary. I still cry everyday and it’s now been 8 months.
@@roylenekornovich3267 They say we cannot control other people or their choices/behavior. So great for this to pop up in my feed Sandra! I knew bits and pieces but so good to hear it all in chronological order if you like. My mentor, my inspiration, my dear RU-vid friend 🤗 God bless you and keep you - big love from Scotland 💜
I started watching you a few weeks ago because you are closer to my age of almost 71 than most of the young women on here, although I do have a few favorites in the under 40 crowd! I have been a health enthusiast all of my life so I too am healthy and fit and that is why I was captivated by your videos. At first blush I thought you were just some old gal giving good advice, but quickly realized there was more to you. I wondered from your generation and age group could be so articulate and understanding of the RU-vid world and such. As I watched more of your videos you stopped seeming to me like just "an old gal"! As I watched this video I said out, "so there is the answer to why Sandra is so good in front of the camera with her poise and how she verbalizes"! What a life you have had. So happy I found your videos, keep making them for us women in the over 40 crowd!!
I was so happy to read your comment and know that you are almost 71 and enjoying this seventh decade in your life. I really appreciate all the kind things you have said about me and the topics I cover on my channel. Like everyone else I have had hills and valleys in my life and I am still here. I want to encourage all women to know that yesterday is behind us. Always keep facing forward and anticipate tomorrow with enthusiasm. We are all so lucky to be here. Thank you again and I’m so happy you have decided to spend some time with us in this wonderful community.❤️
Thank You for sharing your life story. You had many mountains to climb before you reached the valley where you are today..you are a very strong and marvellous lady.
OMG! I just subscribed to you last week and found this video tonight! I'm Scottsih, so I've never seen Romper Room but it sounds familiar. Your life is a "you couldn't make it up" story and is so inspiring!! To come through such trauma with such positivity!! Thank you for sharing your story!! I look forward to following you in this new chapter of your life!!
Sam A Life is full of surprises, isn’t it? Some we would rather not have, but, believe it or not, looking back I think I’m a better person for it. Thanks for coming along on this journey with me. Have a great weekend. Sandra
I am so glad I found you on here! I am 68 years old and remember your TV show very well! I watched your show all the time. You are such a inspiration to me and others. Love your videos!
I am a new subscriber and watching some of your past videos. You are a very strong woman and I agree that life is a journey, adventure and many decisions on different crossroads of life can lead to happiness. Thanks so much for sharing your story.
Verna, We never know where events and what roads will lead us to our best future! We just had to take something positive in each and every day on our journey.❤️
Dear Sandra, Hello from beautiful Greece. Your are such an inspiration..i am almost 47, and sometimes i feel too old for some things..i try so hard to change this, and i'll try to remember that may be, there is something good for me somewhere close...andriana (sorry if my english is not good enough)

Hello Sandra, although I have watched several of your videos (and enjoyed each one) I hadn't seen this one where you talk about your work/life history. What a fascinating story! As well, I want to say that you have my sincere sympathy regarding the circumstances that emerged during your first marriage. Mental illness is such an affliction and scourge and affects not just the person with the illness, but also the family members who suffer right alongside the ill person. Thank heavens the medical people are making some inroads with developing new medications. Coincidentally, very recently I was speaking with a researcher (PhD) in the pharmaceutical industry. He told me that great strides are being made in the development of antipsychotics. Sandra, thank you for your sincere and generous contributions in time and advice. I hope every good thing comes your way.
M Parton Thank you for the supportive and heartfelt comment. Because of my experience with my late husband I donate the proceeds from my books to the Brain & Behavior Foundation that focuses on research on mental illness like schizophrenia and depression. Someday, I hope they can not only find medications and cures, but understand the root of these conditions. Thank you again. ❤️. Sandra
Sandra I just happened on to this video of several years ago I must say it was fantastic. I now feel like I really know so much about you way before your RU-vid career oh my what an interesting life !!!! I loved hearing all about you. You are an amazing woman of many talents I love each and every video I’ll be waiting to see you in your next Tuesday video. So happy I came across this wonderful story about YOU ❤️
Sandra, I recently found your channel and have already watched several videos. The ironic thing is that you have been a part of my life for over 50 years because I used to watch Romper Room hopefully waiting for you to say my name:) But Romper Room was one of the sweetest joys in my little sad childhood and I’m so happy that I get to tell you that!! I just have to say I love you, Sandra!! And God Bless you~ xoxo 😘 Melody
You are a strong woman and wonderful mother who had gone through so much. Thank you for sharing your story with us. I wish you many more decades of happiness.
Sandra you could never bore me or I`m sure any one else, you are wonderul, aand have really lifted my spirit today, I am so looking forward to your next video love and light x
Sandra you are an amazing woman. I’m so glad I found you when I did. I have 3 grown children that a raised by myself while working as a professional women. I separated from my first husband with 3 children under the age of 6. I’m sorry for your sorrows but I’m convinced that our trials make us who we are today. I’m a chemist/ sales rep by trade but decided to go to culinary school after 8 years at home with my babies. One semester later I found myself out on the street due to the compulsive spending of my ex husband and a bankruptcy. We always survive. We are strong women. I love you. You are such an inspiration to me. God bless you and your family.
Hi Sandra, I am a new listener and I am enjoying each of your videos. Thank you! I am originally from Ecuador. I remember you said in one of your videos that one of your daughters went to school in Ecuador. That’s awesome!!!
Sandra I grew up in Youngstown Ohio. I remember romper room. I am thrilled to know about your life journey although sad about your first husband and those years. You are strong and delightful. Thank you also for more information on Hygge. I'm of Swedish decent.
Cheree, Hello to a fellow ‘Ohioan’ It’s so nice to hear from another buckeye. Thank you so much for your warm thoughts. Life sometimes throws us things we don’t think we can survive. But we do, don’t we? I like the Hygge concept because it just is a very simple way to enjoy life in the moment. ❤️
Thank you for doing this video, Sandra; I so enjoyed it. What a fascinating life you've had, and such an uplifting message. You are inspiring so many of us. Blessings to you!
Lynne, My life has been full of deepest valleys and the highest mountains. I am living in gratitude every single day of my life. I learned from the valleys and I find joy in the mountains❤️
Absolutely wonderful inspiring on many different levels . Through struggles we hit challenges that we would never envisage , but there is two choices you can take ...one upwards or the other way .Without some difficulties many would not know the other side of life , these challenges can help in discovering strengths we never know we had . Helping others is the greatest gift besides love one can share ...so keep on sharing ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful testimony, just discovered your channel and your beautiful light & genuine spirit vibrate right through the phone... I haven't felt this lifted in awhile, Thank You Sandra & I look forward to spending time with you catching up ...⚘💞🕊
I watched Romper Room with my children, we lived in Phoenix. My dear friend’s son was on your show. You were a blessing then and you’re a blessing now. So glad l found you again. God be with you.
Pat Stidman I always love to hear from someone who remembers Romper Room. That was a very special time in my life.,Blessings your way and thank you for coming along with me on this journey we are both on. ❤️. Sandra
I made that video quite a while back so I’m glad that you washed one of my older videos. Life gave me things I never asked for but I tried and I did survive. Hugs your way, too❤️
Wow! I am so happy I found you. I am 68 and in a difficult moment of my inner life. I think I will get very good insights from your monologs. Thanks and welcome to my life..🙏
OMG Romper Room I watched YOU!!! I'm making a piece of art with an old racket...to look thru the magic mirror!!! So glad your found love...dark to light!!!! You are so adorable. You remind us (my husband remarked) of a lovely beautiful friend we lost to Alzheimer. Thank you for bringing back a fabulous friend and sharing your story! Blessings your children must be very proud of you, how you have overcome and shined!
Donna, I am so sorry about your friend and your loss. You were one of my Do Bees? Wonderful to see you again!!! What an interesting concept. From tennis racket tonMagic Mirror! ❤️. Sandra
@@lifewithsandrahart Thank you she was as lovely and adorable as you...we miss her dearly. Yes a DO BEE, though I was never on the show I did always listen for my name.LOL! Have a blessed day...If you on your way thru to KY we live just south of ST louis with a tiny home we save for guests...if you need a place to lay your head on the road trip...you can stay on us...anytime!!!
Sandra! This just came up in my feed. When you said you did Romper Room my heart leaped and got teary eyed! I was tuned in every day. Waiting to here my name being called while you held the magic mirror. Never heard it but that’s ok. I had the Mr Do Bee hand puppet and the clown boxer!
Oh yesssss. I just commented on one of your other videos asking about your profession and saying I could totally see you on tv with a talk show or motivational speaking..wow. 👍
I just love listening to you're life story its so interesting ur voice is so soothing and you make me feel like anything is possible im in my 30thies and i love all ur advice and stories thank you for sharing i cant wait to read your book behind the mirror 💗
Evelyne, anything is possible. We just have to listen to our inner voice and take risks. Let go of fear of the unknown and you may be surprised at the great adventures you will have in life❤️
Oh my God I remember the show I’m 54 right now so I definitely remember that show you were just as beautiful as you were then. I’m so glad I came across this page
Having been a sub for only a short time, I feel like I’m just getting to know you & yet...I feel like I know you well. Your story is amazing! What strength you have! Now i see why you have such an empathetic attitude. God bless you, friend. You will NEVER know how many you have touched by sharing your story. Well...maybe eternity will reveal it. Like you said, we all have our stories...our hurts, heartbreaks, tragedies, & disappointments. Your life is an inspiration to all of us who have had to “keep going.” Wishing you continued love & happiness. Please continue the videos. I look forward to them. I am a 70 yr old antique dealer...married for 50 yrs to a Larry David kind of guy who has almost never had a negative moment in his life (he sees the glad half full ha)... mother of three...& grandmother. We live in a small town in northeast TN (5 hrs from Nashville) in an old farmhouse built in 1892 on the lake. Bought it 40 yrs ago & we feel very blessed to have our quiet little piece of life. Why am I telling you all of this? Maybe...because that’s what friends do LOL. Our life hasn’t been without hurt, loss, struggle, etc, but don’t you think having experienced loss, one can appreciate the good in life much more. You have so much to offer...so much to give...please continue to “write” to us. I look forward to hearing from you. You are sharing the love & inspiring us to do the same. Thank you.
Libby, What a beautifully expressed and heartfelt comment. Ahhh, another Larry David ! I thought I had the only clone. These husbands are fun, challenging and at times exasperating, but who can live without them!! Yes, I have had so many challenges in my life I never expected, or wanted, but of one thing I am sure, because of those deep valleys, I am a stronger and more compassionate woman today because of them. I sometimes wonder what kind of a person I would be today had I not suffered a bit. We are at this stage in our lives a composite of all that we have lived and the challenges we have faced. I am grateful. Tennessee is a beautiful state with a wide range of landscapes. My son lives in Nashville near the Trace and it is almost like heaven there. I understand why you feel blessed to have life living where you do. I cannot thank you enough for reaching out with such encouraging thoughts. I sincerely appreciate your joining this journey we are taking. ❤️. Sandra
I didn't see this video until today: my congratulations to you Sandra. I am very happy that you had the opportunity, after the tragedy of your life, to start again and have had so many goals for your sentimental life and professional. I am with you: many times all that we consider a tragedy, that can open new big doors for our life and that is not a casualty. Well done my dear friend! ( I call you so because I feel inside me what you are and your sensitivity).
Sometimes I think life throws us things and points us into a direction that we have to follow. That experience that I’ve had in my life has made me a more sensitive, gentle and kind person. Thank you for your comments.❤️
Hi Sandra, this video just had popped up on my you tube fwwd and I really enjoyed watching it. I always wonder about the people's lives b4 you tube that they started. I enjoy your posts very much. Thank you for sharing yours
I am so impressed and amazed at you and your story...I am glad you are telling it because so many of us give up on dreams or don't even know what they are anymore. I can tell that you are happy with what you have done and been able go do. No regrets. Thanks for inspiring me!!!
Ah thank Sandra What a strong woman My upmost Respect for you And as you say when you are a good caring person It always comes back to you I believe this too God bless Sandra
Hi Sandra - I just discovered your channel and have enjoyed watching your videos. I remember my mother telling me that when I was very little, the only time she could get anything done in the house is when she turned on Romper Room and I would sit there mesmerized! So, it's funny that I would be watching you again, all these years later, but in a different way. Thanks for all of your advice and great ideas :).
LOL! Holly, your mother was an angel and very smart. Both of you benefitted from Romper Room! 😊. Nice to have a DoBee back with me again. Thanks for watching and sharing with us today. ❤️. Sandra
A life well lived, and so much more to look forward to, Sandra. I've been watching you for some time, but I did learn a few new, and interesting things about you. Isn't it just fabulous to see your children doing well? Gives me such a peaceful, and blessing feeling. Many blessings...MaryEllen
MaryEllen After 60 My children have been the most important aspects in my life. Without them I would not be who I am today, because all of my struggles and achievements were for them and my feeling of love for and responsibility for their lives. Their successes have been on their own merits as they have made their way in life. Yes, sitting back and watching them lead full lives, making good choices has been so rewarding and truly a blessing. That's what it is all about, isn't it? You are truly a very insightful and remarkable woman, MaryEllen. Warm wishes always. Sandra
Sandra, I am 48 and I believe age really doesn't matter. I love listening to you, to your soothing voice and your wisdom and experience you share with us. Thank you for showing the beauty of life and the beauty we carry inside. As for me you are an example of a woman who is strong and sensitive as well, a perfect example to follow. You witness with your life how much we can overcome and remain joyful and appreciating. I have showed your videos to my mother who doesn't speak English but is wise enough to capture who you are. I know that seeing someone in her age but in such form so shinning, it was really beneficial for her. You do a lot of good with your films. Thank you. Don't stop please :)
Thank you Anna. I am happy that you showed my videos to your mother because it will help her realize she is still beautiful and relevant. Thank you again
wow what a life! God Bless You and your common sense decisions. and your wonderful videos. Thank you for being there and making the videos. You are a warrior for sure!
Thank you so very much for sharing with us concerning your life. Everyone has a story that's what makes each of us so interesting and unique. I'm just finishing a chronicle of my life. I'm 72 and I want to leave behind for my children, grandchildren and others a story of my struggles as a young single welfare mother of 3 and that if you have faith in God that even when we get off His path that He will light our path to get back to where he intends us to be. God has been very good to me and protected me and my children always. I continually prayed He would bless us with a good husband and father. This October my husband Charlie and I will celebrate our 39th anniversary. He is very, very loved by all. Between us we have 5 children and 16 grandchildren. God is good. ❤️
Marie Carty Thank you for sharing your journey. It is so important to continue with your memoir about your life and struggles. It was such a catharsis for me to write Behind The Magic Mirror about my life and the struggles for survival with my schizophrenic husband. Your children and others will be helped by your story as well. So many women have suffered in silence and think they are alone. Your story proves that a strong faith will steer you through troubled waters and lead you to the right answers for happiness in your life. Blessings to you and your continued life. Sandra
Life Over Sixty With Sandra YES. Faith in God is the answer to our troubles. He is there to walk with us though the way be dark at times. God bless you both.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how much it hurts to lose someone you love so much, and also how scary it is to be stalked. Currently prosecuting my own stalker. It can be horrifying. So glad you were able to do great things in your life.
Loved finding this video today from a couple of years ago! Thank you for sharing your history. I’ve already said this a number of times, but I’m a huge Tonic fan. You obviously were and are a great mother to your children. I’ll watch your daughter’s channel. ❤️❤️❤️
Sandra, bless you for giving up your career for a time to take care of your young children the rewards are tremendous, as each of them seem to be successful and part of their success is your sacrificing yourself for them. Some good things have happened due to the coronavirus, one of of them is bringing us back into our homes and spending the time with our families and bringing us together as a unit, as it should be.
Carol, Life sometimes throws us things that we don’t expect and sometimes we feel like we can’t live through, but we have to pull ourselves up off of our knees and carry on. My love for my children gave me the strength to do what I had to do to survive for all of us. In all honesty, I truly am a kinder more understanding and a stronger woman for what I had to walk through during the years of my late husband’s illness and death. ❤️
You've had quite a life, Sandra. Thank you for sharing it with us, the good, the bad , and the ugly. You're very beautiful and very talented, and so down to earth. Thank you for your great videos.
Seia Carponti I am glad you found me, too. I have met so many amazing women through my channel. And I'm sure you have endured a few moments in your life that you have needed a bit of strength to get through it, too. We all have, some are just thrown more than others. I love that you are coming along with me on this adventure. Warm wishes. Sandra
Sandra, I didn't make it back to chapter five. This video just popped up and you are so right about karma. You are amazing. I want to stay up all night to view all of your videos. I am already running on empty, but the weekend is coming. My jaw dropped as you described the dangerous time you lived through with your husband. On a lighter note I grew up watching Romper Room and I most likely met you back then :)). I am often asked how I have had so many careers and still raised my children. I never felt there was anything out of the ordinary with changing careers to fit my children's schedules. Once they were in school I had more freedom to go further into medicine and followed it into the legal end. I don't recall ever not being in school. You also never stop and you have no idea how finding you has already, in less then one day made me feel normal. I keep talking about slowing down, then I get a University invitation and next thing I know I am signing up to either give a lecture series or to go to one. Well I must try to get some sleep. Much love wishing you a peaceful night,. Marya.
Marya Stark Do you know how refreshing it it to hear from someone who really gets me? And maybe is marching to my same drummer? There is so much world out there and so little time, why would anyone want to stop and let so much interesting living pass them by? We are all different, I understand. What is right for me may not be the answer for someone else, but I personally want to drink it all in and not stop growing during the short time I’m here. My children’s welfare was always a priority for me, but I worked it out just like you did. I honestly believe having a mother with a good work ethic has made them all successful. They early on realized that hard work reaps rewards. I’m trying to survive the speed bumps and move forward. Enjoy your weekend and thanks for sharing. ❤️ Sandra
Life Over Sixty With Sandra , I would adore knowing more about you. I am going to order your books. I have always had difficulty really enjoying an audio book. There is something about physically holding a book in my hand. Maybe the smell and being able to go back to parts that I didn't properly digest without stumbling around a keyboard. I honestly understand your need to keep moving, learning and experiencing. I really am not convinced that it is part of the aging process. I have always found it impossible to stay in one place or one job where I was under someone's authority. It is a personality type. I was also brought up with a strict work ethic and two extremely intelligent, cultured parents. Due to my husband's military career and mine once the children were grown we have never lived together consistently. He will be retiring in less then 18 months. I am desperately trying to slow down prior to his retirement. Instead I am worse then ever. My primary care doctor suggested seeing a therapist. After my migraine attack and the additional weight loss I have agreed. It cannot hurt. No matter what my age I have always lived as though I was running out if time. If not for my evening dance workouts, the music and my morning runs I don't think I would ever relax. Looking forward to following you. Have a beautiful evening.Much Love :)) Marya
Wow, what a fantastic video! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing and inspirational life story! You have experienced so many different walks throughout life, and I truly appreciate all the wisdom and knowledge that you have gleaned over the years and can now share with all of us. You gave me some goosebumps! I was born in 1955 and can remember just a little bit about Romper Room. My brother was born in '52 and if he was still living, I know he would remember it better than me. I will have to tell my mom about you when I go to visit her in Nov. She will be 90 in January. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful story!
paddymcmarlar Happy Birthday to your mother! So blessed you are to still have her with you! January is not that far away. Yes, we often have lives that we didn't order, think about, or expect while growing up. I've tried to make the best of what came my way and I was a bit lucky, too. I appreciate your comments. Warm wishes your way, Sandra
