Keep it comin’ Cato! Love the content and all the graphics. You’re very thorough. Quality really comes through. I still like the quick-folds you include. Gives it realism.
@@timhawks6101 Q-10 is a fold a lot of the time, you run into kicker problems pretty often. It really depends on the position and how tight the table is playing
Only reason to ever touch someone’s chips is to make changes to small blind. That’s it. Otherwise, you should keep your hands to yourself. If someone bets 225 but puts 3 blacks, let it be. Color physiology is part of game, maybe the guy didn’t realize it was 225 but thinks it’s still 300. You should never do things that can change the action.
I see there are Aholes everywhere, guy to your left was a piece of work, if I was in your seat I definitely would have gotten loud as I'm a grumpy old man that doesn't like being poked 😡
Like your channel. And also youre intro is up beat. Always click on when i get a note. Andrew Brad and Jaman are my faves but you are definitely my 4th . Keep it up bruh. Good content
I love your discipline to get up and walk away. Your run good slowed down and you recognized the lack of value in continuing your session. Now, pass some of that discipline my way. lol.
My favorite thing to do, to combat people being rude, or unethical at the table, is to leave when I am well up. If I happen to be winning a lot when something comes up like it did in this session, I would say “You’re absolutely correct, I’m wrong, etc etc” and then rack up all my profit and hit the door. They’re mad cause you’re winning. Make em even more mad by not letting them get a single dollar of it.
Not saying I don't somewhat agree but at the same time when someone's running stupidly hot and has been all day I'm glad to see them rack up their chips and leave even if they're taking those single dollars off the table because you weren't going to get them anyways if they were running that damn good
River bet too large on set of K’s… should’ve went 80-100 and same goes for flopped boat w/ 3’s… 40-60 might get you a call. Enjoy the channel keep it up.
Well done for pointing out the rules for talking at the table. I agree, would also like to ask your opinion. If you are waiting your turn and someone is deciding about a raise in front of them, is it fair to call for time?
Nice session glad for you. Played 5 hours yesterday - 1 set all day on the turn - rivered by the flush. No aces, No kings, no jacks, 1 AQ, 1 AK, no flushes, few str8s. Typical day on the felt. Luckily I bluffed like 20 pots and took them down
So I notice you have a little tilt in you. In the first hand, AT vs AT, I like this move on the turn (however I would have preferred a preflop 3 bet). But maybe play ABC for the first 2 hours of your sessions before trying moves, that way it won't hurt the rest of your game.
@@sesloajit5185 gambling is gambling. The big winners take big risks. Tom Dwann would call that in a flash. Why not? Doyle played10/2 to win a WSOP. so all that statistical math is nonsense. It's intuitive. Gamble or go broke slowly. At the big Boys table with 100k behind they call with 10s...the big winners do. They also lose big. It's gambling. Duh.
@@marktombazian6490 I dont care about dwan. I care about math and sound logical reasoning. Want an example? Look at Hustlers video on rampage, he lost a huge pot even though he flopped the world. Look at everyone excoriating rampage for playing T9 and trouble it got him into. Its also hilarious that your hero Dwan has probably gone broke. I tend to base my game around long term winners like Linus and Malinowski. Eitherway there is a reason why you dont see them (Ivey and dwan) play online anymore. Eitherway, Occassionally calling? Fine. Calling long term? Disaster. Especially with people behind you.
@@sesloajit5185 I understand the situation but I like to gamble. You pick your spots. I have c a rule. If I call a raised pot I'm prepared to go all in if reraised. I am clear about what I'll do IF... people burn chips trying to get in cheap & fold on a raise to isolate. I'm old school. Don't call if you won't call a raise. Don't bet if you won't call a raise. Otherwise you're fishing with a stick & worms for marlin. I've folded AK suited b4 the flop so many times it amazes friends. And 95% of the time they would not have won. Those 10s? That was a pot call not a cards call. Even if you figure AA KK AK you go for the pot. Can't win if you're not in. Rampage is an idiot, all posture & testosterone but fun. Good for the game. I've called w/rag in the blinds for large pots. Won more than I lost chip wise. So play your game & good luck doing burnouts on the felt. Boss 409 Cowboy poker. Ever fold AA b4 the flop? I have. Why? Bad feeling. I'm an intuitive player. It serves me well.
@@sesloajit5185 what do you think of running it more than once? I think it's stupid. Whats the point if you're going to chop it? Not all the time but enough to kill the fun of straight poker. One hand one run one winner...your thoughts?
Good stuff, don’t like your check on the turn with 22. Set is good often and plenty of value to be extracted from draws and top pair hands. Glad you started a winning streak, keep it going.
I’m not understanding your comment about leaving at the end. If your running hot you should keep playing. If you applied your theory you would’ve left after you had two or three sets but you ended up hitting five or six
First hand: A9s, K9s, Q9s, J9s, T9s, 89s, and 79s are all reasonable opens (assuming no limps) from cutoff. You should be opening ATo as well, so A9o is not far out there. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see 69s or T9o, which are again just outside a normal range, especially if the blinds are tight and fold a lot. Even hands like K9o or Q9o are not far out there, so if he’s a bit loose or the blinds are tight I wouldn’t be surprised to see these either. So yeah, a lot more 9s than you seem to think.
@@Raiders1234 That’s kinda the point. There are a lot of 9s that should be opened from the cutoff. (There are far more hands that don’t contain a 9, but PB discounted a lot of 9s that should indeed be opened.) But yeah, 92 is a fold.
You are not obligated to respond to anyone while you are in a hand. And yes, that is a beyond unreasonable breach of etiquette. You handled it well though.
Curious if everyone has a dollar amount goal per session and once accomplished you leave? Or do you just go by how the cards your getting and the vibe at table/s?
On the 33 hand with the 6-6-3 flop. Villain C-bet in flow but clearly missed and wouldn’t be able to call any bet. You asked if your bet size was too big but I think it was just fine.
Kk hand River bet of pot size doesn’t make sense He can only call you if he has beat you with a straight So sizing of 60-65 would be good for allowing the opponent to bluff catch you with a J or worst two pair I guess
I have a few pet peeves when playing poker. The main ones are dont touch my shit, and mind you own business. I cant tell you how many times i've had someone call out another persons hand. Him telling you to move your chips is just plain ignorant. Kindly asking to make a lil room when you can would be better. We all know poker tables can be a little snug.
I would just look at the guy, pull back my chips and nod towards the pot. If he continues I'd just ignore him and put my hand towards my head (act like I'm thinking) and block him out from my line of sight. If he continues I'd motion towards the dealer. I've never had to do the last bit but that's what I'd do.
WTF, don't ever touch someone else's chip in a situation like this. He literally enforced a string bet by himself, without involving the dealer. That deserves a punch to the nose
33 full house should check on turn. opponent did continuation bet of $20 on flop ...really saying he has AQ AK AJ. that board of 3667.....he has nothing.
While you had a heater (got lucky) on a lot of hands, none of them were bad play, so I wouldn't be so worried about it. It'd be different if you make stupid plays and sucked out on people.
