This is confirmation of why these writers were let go. The writing is choppy, sloppy, and disconnected. The temporary writers did better writing for NYC.
Yeah but keeping E. korte is a huge mistake for me she isn't so great and the same thing about FV. We have surely this kind of issue sooner again. Too bad fired them immediately and problem is solved.
This episode was underwhelming. The way that Trina found out about Esme’s memory returning was lackluster and off putting. She barely had a reaction. It seemed like the conversation was really between Joss and Spencer with Trina a 3rd wheel. The whole storyline just feels so rushed. And the fact that they couldn’t even add a throwaway line that Taggart couldn’t make the party was another disappointment. Wish we had writers that cared enough to give us a full fleshed out Sprina love story because this crappy writing for Sprina, individually and together, has been going on for a while. Fingers crossed for the new head writer.
It was off putting because Spencer obviously already talked to Trina… and he lied by omission. Spencer and Trina should have told Joss the news together. Even if she initially found out off-screen. Here her reactions feel OOC. She definitely would have grilled him when he mentioned seeing his father, just to see how it went. Especially since she’s encouraged him time after time to mend the relationship. And I think she would have been more suspicious that Spencer seemed overly fine about Ace just being gone. Especially since they had discussed him flying back to visit. So many details/nuances just skipped over to rush them to Paris. I get the urgency, but the execution has been poorly done.
She never would let that "oh dad took him" be the end. Writer's messing with the characters and here there was no reason because we know she would agree with him. Poor execution. @@vjones4769
Something is off with the execution of those scenes. Why are they talking about Esme at the goodbye party? It’s like an episode is missing. Sprina should’ve talked about Esme alone with a strategy how to handle her.
Why ??? When what Esme did affected ALL of them. The only one missing was Cam; and Spencer filled them in as to what was going on so that they were all AWARE that Esme has her memories back. Once that was discussed, Carly Jr. (I mean Joss 😉😆) said she had been WAITING for that to happen, so she can get the proof needed. I'm SURE they will stay connected and keep each other up to speed about their plans as they go.
I prefer by the way this temporary Carly Jr "alias Joss " so far because she s more soft and less aggressive than the real Carly Jr 😂. Yeah Many things are off we have first no scene between Sprina before this party it s a big issue for me. Second awful problem, why Trina hasn't any clue by Spencer Esme recovers back her memory (it s an enormous issue in this case, this kind of evolution is very bad /inaccurate). Maybe they fired Chris and Dan for this but keep Korte like co head writers is a big mistake with FV like EP (isn't the solution because this kind of issue can be repeated again and again, a real clean up move in writing/executive production was a better choice ......simple deduction for a smarter mind.....never mind🤣). Sprina scenes are too much short when we have them on our screen it s problematic and the key factor because we are boring with the others storylines/characters aren't fun ( no fun to watch permanently old grannies divas"alias Nina & Carly" are fighting no thanks with Drew in the case ( it s outrageous this dude is awful/useless in every single scene). This kind of writing is unproductive for us because we are waiting more romance with a great balance between drama/romance/adventure for sprina we have two seconds sprina's scenes even if it s a party for them and they are talking about Esme with Joss 😡😡😡😡😡 stop this crap, for our own sake, it s painful to watch. Sprina should be have a conversation alone for five minutes only about them, after with Joss and Esme's issue. It s the pure logic in a storyline, it's not a complicated thing to understand "common sense ".
The writers jammed a lot into this send off party. All that exposition. Rehash the plot one more time for the viewers. Geez. NAC is nearly out of breath trying to spit out all those lines. Luckily he's very good at it.
lol! I was thinking the same thing! He is very good at enunciating whilst talking at super speed. But even for him, it felt disjointed. Spencer would have told Trina IMMEDIATELY! His exposition gave me Greenland vibes when he had to tell Trina everything about what Victor was up to in 10 seconds or less🤣
Can't do anything but laugh because there is no lie detected...this is such a mess. I'm going to say this, GH better get itself together or missing out on a best writing Emmy will be the least of their worries.

They should have a separate scene between Trina and Spencer about that Esme regain her memories it should have taken place right after the scene between Spencer and Esme and when she called him Spencer and that would make more sense
After over a year of Amnesia Esme and three years since Esme drugged and framed Trina, this was a T.E.R.R.I.B.L.E execution of Trina learning Esme's returned to her old self??! Wtf is this writing??? If a random throwaway conversation in the middle of their bon voyage was the writer's plan, it would've been better off if Trina found out offscreen before this episode and then this scene was just her and Spencer telling Joss the news. Trina barely even spoke, let alone reacted
I know. It is a mess. This feels like a filler or reshoot. Or for lack of better words, cut/paste. As I said previously a dissertation with a one sentence conclusion because they've run out of time/words.
@@creating1_c1999 in the case for this dissertation Gh writers have D- I m generous with Gh thanks to sprina because it s a F for this crap.....like usual NAC/TA are saving the day with great performance.....Indeed, it s an awful transition/conclusion for sprina "bon voyage party". Why we haven't them happy for a minute and we aren't see them eating their food with a relax atmosphere. Cliffhangers are great/tension isn't so bad but happiness is so great too. Permanently cut in sprina's scene Nope it s awful to watch.
Good grief I’ve read better written fanfics than this. Hopefully things will get smoother once the new writers take over. I love Trina and Spencer to death and they deserve better.
Keep in mind that maybe Taggert has interacted with Trina about her trip. Taggert is NOT a fan of the Cassadines Especially after the Nic& Gia relationship. He has no patience for Spencer as he showed at the time of Portia and Curtis’s wedding. But I do get it would have been nice if they had name dropped at least
Ever since it was revealed that Curtis is Trina's biological father (which I am hoping Ms. Wu rigged the test), Taggert has been completely MIA. No matter what the DNA test shows, Taggert is Trina's dad and makes no sense why he wouldnt be at Trina's farewell. I loved the dad/daughter relationship between Taggert/Trina and the character deserves so much better.
1. Ms.Wu absolutely switched results. 2. I have no interest in Trina/Curtis relationship with how they have written the Ashford’s in this storyline. They have been dismissive of Taggert since the results came in. (Which is most definitely the fault of the writer’s trying to fast track a fake ass bond between the pair). 3. Looking forward to March scripts. They have a lot of trash to clean up.
The writers definitely missed their mark when they decided to pile up this story by leaving out crucial details, and failing to set aside the appropriate time necessary for the characters to carry out their dialogues in a way that communicated all the appropriate distinctions and emotions that should have been reflected in such a subject matter. Crappy, crappy, low quality, amateur's writing, and a lack of caring for Sprina's story.
This whole Paris trip has been rushed since the day it was first brought up. Spencer found the acceptance letter and agreed to go with Trina right away. Then giving ace to nikolas to esme getting her memories back all was rushed. Now it seems like gh has rushed through the whole farewell party with Trina and joss both finding out on the day of the party. I have asked the gh move stories at a faster pace but not this fast.
Shannon Peace would be a perfect writer for Sprina ! She has imagination of love ,care ,adventure for this outstanding young beautiful handsome pairing !!!
cleaner. I may not have been jumping for joy but they weren't rushed. I'm going to give them a small bit of grace because they were likely trying to shoot a lot of material for NAC but you'll get no argument from me. It shouldn't be this shakey.

His actions weren't out of malice, but simply for the safety of Ace; unlike the Karen whose worthy of prison or six feet under you failed to mention.💯
