It's really mind boggling that someone would preffer Forspoken over Ghost of Tsushima. And that's from someone that liked a game but fell in love with the other.
Ghost of Tsushima not comparing it to any other game is just an okay game. Honestly in comparison to games that it borrows from it could be said it's worst in every category. When I review I don't want to compare cause it's unfair. Ghost like nioh is a samurai game with style switching. Nioh would be superior from a combat view point. Ghost is inspired by assassin creed among other Ubisoft games with its open world activities and fun but simplistic stealth. Ghost in comparison to practically any Ubisoft game in recent memory is lacking. Mainly because ghost enemy AI is even more simplistic than an Ubisoft game. Forespoken combat is solely unique to that game. Taking a 3rd person shooter but infusing traditional combos you would find in a hack and slash game. It's traversal system thanks to it's speed and fluidity reminds me of what Sonic fans dream of that franchise would do. There is no game I can say Forspoken at its core is like. It does share traditional open world activities however it's moment to moment gameplay I know no other that has it.
Ghost of Tsushima is a good game that falls just short of being a great game. its the quintessential 8.5/10 . Its one of those games where you suspect the sequel will perfect the formula and be universally loved.
i like the stealth and sword combat. it feels like its made for that, the story was okay. I get why people don't stick with it, you gotta like samurai`s and all that to enjoy it properly
I think the game is really fun and satisfying, but when it came out people were calling it a perfect masterpiece and one of the greatest games ever. That was definitely a stretch
You explained this perfectly I'm still on the fence on buying an xbox because its so much cheaper and forza looks more fun than gran turismo but I stuck around for spider man and ghost . I really just want to play cyber punk and forza
You can literally play cyberpunk on playstation. And I'm not saying that turismo is better than forza but If you're not a car guy forza will get boring after some time
Gt just needs more maps. I wish games would do what ark did with there new game by adding console mods. I’d love to have some straight roads with some traffick but I only seen them types of mods on assetto
@@Grimpachi I meant everything in this game , even the pace it's played at , takes you to feodal japan and that's something a lot of people really like . PS : playing on lethal difficulty is a must to really make the fights more intense .
@@Lycantthrope I heard playing at lethal should be better. As for the setting that's pretty common for samurai games. It's probably the only open world game in the setting but that really didn't do much for me.
While i think this game is amazing, i understand as the only reason i got into it was cause i like samurai and open world games. All in all, everyone has their own tastes in games, and theres nothing wrong with not liking it.
@@Jackdaw160lol one doesn’t post at all while one has a 100+😂 his terrible takes and lack of presentation is what has him staying where he is, don’t lie to yourself
Wow there are so many Dead Island 2 (just reviewed that) Tony Hawk (excluding the bad ones 😂) Uncharted series GoW series Forspoken (just reviewed that) Nioh Strangers of Paradise Zelda (most of them) Days Gone I can go on for days 😂
You literally took the words out of my mouth. The only thing I'd add is for me personally, I thought this game was amazing on day 1. The more I played it, the less hyped I was. I'm on a platinum completionist grind but I had to take a break, it's so repetitive. I would say I am interested in a sequel though, I think a few tweaks could make the sequel great.
Same, at first I thought it's insanely good game, but very quickly got boring and stopped playing for a year and just finished playing couple weeks ago. The beginning and endgame was great, but middle part was boring and combat system was good but not great, didn't felt fluid with movements and camera.
I cannot agree with most of your points, but i do appreciate the well-done review. You definitely deserve a larger following, i hope that this year will bring you much success. 😃
I liked your comments on hack and slash games in the gameplay section. In my time, I've heard so much shit about Dark Souls combat, because people dont like how you just attack and dodge, that I've decided to give these games with a lot of combat variety (dmc5, bayonetta, mgr) a try. They're not bad, but I'm pretty disappointed. Enemies are extremely spongy which makes my sword feel like its made out of rubber, and while the combat is flashy its definitely not deliberate. When I play a game like souls (or sekiro as you mentioned), im making a decision every second, in hack and slash I'm just barely thinking. I play on the hardest available difficulties. In regards to this game, it strikes me as another safe, bland, sony exclusive. I also cannot force myself to play half baked stealth games with brain dead ai after MGS5. and that game came out almost a decade ago.
Yeah I understand when it comes to flashy hack and slash you won't be getting that feedback. This game Idk was trying to do a mixture but it doesn't satisfy either side.
@@mikhailkalinin6536 agreed. Ghost does alot of things but everything except the voice acting is just average and at that point just watch it on RU-vid.
@@Grimpachi to each its own. I played and completed the main missions of 1 and second installments of SM and never played it again. The miles morales game was the only game that I really enjoyed because of the story.
Different strokes i guess . I loved this game , greatest game of the ps4 era . I think the witcher 3 horrible . I dont get what people love about that game
Ahhh the same guy who said forspoken was a great game and its a hidden gem 😅 I respect you have an opinion but i honestly dont think they are good or well thought out. Thank god for the "dont recommended" button on YT
My man I've watched 3 vids. Even one on a game we both liked. You are not good at reviewing games and your opinions arnt consistent or balanced. I also think you are leaning on rage bait takes too. Based of the amount of vids you've made vs the amount of subs and views you have, I imagine many feel the same. Mad respect if you are out here making vids for the love of it, but based off what I've seen, I don't think it's the case so I'd rather block the channel. Now we both win. You make your vids and I'll keep not watching them 🤣 good luck man.
Yeah, your food analogy was pretty much spot on. I don't get the praise this game got, like as if it was gods gift to gamers. I was like...am I playing a different game than the rest of these reviewers? I actually put in like a good 10 hours and quit and never returned, just out of boredom with it at a certain point, where I said to myself, "yup, I've seen everything there is to see here". Anyways, nice job on the video.
dudes is the definition of bad take, most if not all of his negative points seem to be user error😂 i appreciate the disclaimer in the beginning, everyone can have an opinion but it doesn’t mean yours isn’t shit🎉
Thanks for watching. Majority of what I said wasn't negative. Not liking something to a high level doesn't mean negative. That's why I tell people there are opinions in between both and horrible garbage. For some reason people have decided that something being okay equals bad. If the game was bad I wouldn't recommend it.
