There are several ways to set up an assault rifle in Ghost Recon Wildlands. This is the most brutal attachment setup you'll find for most ARs to move quick and be accurate. I've watched every one of your previous Wildlands vids and I'm delighted to see you back at it! I've got hundreds of hours in this game but still dig the content man; keep it up! Would you ever consider covering Breakpoint in the same way, especially now they've updated it quite a bit? I love that game too, and I'm sure others in the community would love to see you cover it. Totally understand if it burned you out though dude, I didn't play it til immersive mode was introduced so I avoided the hell out of all that gear score/power level RPG bullshit Ubi tries to cram into all their games these days lol

still playing it years later and i know this much: at a certain point and especially difficulty gun shoot bullet, bullet kills. gear doesnt matter much except range and recoil. use what feels fun and in a firefight using what attachments benefit your play style. eg; I want max pivot on carbines/shotguns and large mags to run bursts with. other than that its all looong game and stealth kills for me. great game and good content still.

The MK 18 is my primary weapon. It is by far my favorite! Paired with the SR25 Jungle sniper rifle - God mode lol Great vid man, hope you're doing well!

I find range and accuracy are easy to test and quantify on longer range shots. Shot dispersion in full auto is one mechanic but the bullets flight path is another. A lower range will exhibit more drop requiring more careful holdovers as you get out to 150m plus. Lower accuracy affects your dispersion of each shot, making it harder to get first round hits at distance. For an assault rifle used in cqb these stats don't matter. But when using a magnified optic on say the M4 or AK-47/12 etc it comes into play past 100m. Damage also comes into play at those distances too. The SR25 with short barrel doesn't always get clean one shot kills at 150m plus while the M40 long barrel does. The M40 also drops less requiring less holdover and is less likely to miss a not so great shot like a target standing sideways to you or partially blocked by cover.

I prefer the sr25 for sniper rifle and A Rifle is use R4 with G. Launcher 2-3 rounds enemy is dead all you need. I have never tried srjm, but looks nice.

The damage in this game is not consistent. You can one shot heavies with a pistol so long as you take them by surprise but once enemies are alerted it will often take at least a couple hits to drop even regular enemies with body/torso hits. Headshots are still one hit kill as far as I can tell. So damage to enemies is dependent on their alert state. And weapon dmg stats that are listed just seem arbitrary. El Cuentista used to one shot every vehicle in it's range before they patched it. It may have been a legit unintentional glitch or may have been snuck in by a dev. Regardless listed stat in no way indicated the dmg it did.

Yes. The damage is heavily reliant on the alert state. No alert then its a one-tap. No matter what. Once alert the health goes up. Adrenaline can be a crazy painkiller

I've been running the vector 45. It's really quiet due to it chambering a subsonic round, and it is also good for assault due to it being an SMG

I just started a new Ghost Mode character on PC and I'm using the LVOA. My last Ghost Mode character used the R4. Both are decent ideas.

Ya know, sometimes I eschew what's "good" for what I just like. Regardless of stats, I usually stick with a G36C just because I like it, but that's just me. It's arguably trash, compared to others, but it's comfortable.

Funny thing im using that same rifle with the same parts i get similar recoil pattern as you are getting but the acuaracy bar on my screen is half what yours show....

I'm asking this now even though I'll try it myself later if I remember, does the long barrel add to bullet penetration? Also the suppressor. I run the MK17 with the long barrel and when I remove the suppressor I can punch through most walls and concrete barriers, even with the ADV suppressor skill unlocked a suppressor equipped won't do that. I sometimes want to run a shorter barrel but I don't want to give up the extended range and penetration the long barrel adds. Kind of sucks the stats don't actually mean anything in game, but I don't run with anything outside of like 3 weapons so I never thought to check. I'm definitely going to try out the range finder now, thanks for brining up that neat notice.

I run the MK17 with the compensator V2; with the range and damage the MK17 has, it treads the line between AR and DMR. Then I use the BFG 50A as my anti-material. What are the other 2 guns you like?

What's the best assault rifle for ghost mode? I recently re-downloaded the game since its on gamepass and wanted to attempt the ghost mode. I don't have any prestige weapons tho.

Probably the MK17 equipped for accuracy and range to keep fights at a distance, and imo the best scope for AR's is the digital scope, less handling reduction, and up to 3.5x magnification, which is one of the best in the game. As a secondary, probably a BFG 50A, because it's semi-auto. And I love the FN57 as my pistol. What did you end up running with?

HK416 and LVOA are the best AR's. Out of the ones in the base game, its Tar 21 and R4. The AK12, 74 and 47 are also very good.

Do you set up your guns the same way in Ghost mode? Or what is your go-to AR build in there? And if you were playing in tier mode, what weapons would you choose, and with what attachments? I’m a bit confused to why you prefer the APTIAL laser sight, instead of Range Finder

He explains that in the video, aptial is better for co op play because you can see where your team mates are aiming when you have no hud. But apparantley range finder does reduce bullet drop.

Can someone answer why the stats on his guns are so good? He doesn't have tier mode turned on, so they aren't upgraded, but the accuracy and range of his guns shown are WAY over what I have showing on my game.

Even worse is having the game on a modern console. The whole "resume" feature on Xbox in Breakpoint kicks you back to the main screen with and endless loop of pressing A to acknowledge that you've been disconnected from the servers. It's quicker to *quit* and restart the game.

@@Draliseth EXACLTY I just don’t understand games that function fine and yet they insist on still making single players games that can be offline always online. Just doesn’t make sense, I get it’s an option but requiring just takes away from the experience especially when servers are ass or whatever bs happens.
