Thats right i got fotage of ghost rider Beating up galactus where the fantastic four, nova, and thor all failed! the dialog is REALY cheasy but the animations cool and he gets better dialog when he cameos in the hulk. enjoy
bigk9000 Some abilities are more suited for a situation then others. A powerhouse can be defeated by a weakling simply because the weakling has an ability suited for the target. Ghost Rider turns sins against his enemies, and Galactus has many, many sins behind him.
um, actually, that was blaze's penance stare, if the demon of vengeance(yes there's a difference apperently) had taken control and used it, galactus would've died most likely
Siva Nalluri But that still shows some kind of remorse for sacrificing his own daughter. And I'm pretty sure Thanos isn't aware of the power that the Ghost Rider possesses, in the MCU at least.
@@alexmercer1875 This is classic Ghost Rider. Reminds me of all the comics where Punisher and Moon Knight are both chasing down a guy they're trying to kill. But then Ghost Rider beats them to it.
Dark technically it was not them that blew them up but one of hulks subbordinates. And honestly im just shocked nobody tried you know, doing logical stuff and taking out the jobbers then all gang up on hulk.
I know it wasn't actually the illuminati who did it. I know it was Miek.... I've read the comic, that's why i brought it up.... Ghost rider felt hulks rage was justified because regarldess of who blew up the ship, the Illuminati sent him into space to begin with. They deserved punishment, just not punishment for murdering hulk's family. The great moral deciders of the Marvel univers pasically said it through ghost rider. Hulk was justifed. The keeper of justice/vengence/heaven&hell said it himself
"feel the torment of a billion billion...uh....extinguished souls. Experience the pain of...eternal guilt" that script combined with the shatner esque pauses is priceless
@@CHADCONTEXT He was following the lip syncing (I know, ironic, skulls don't have lips). But I do think Richard Grieco has the perfect Ghost Rider voice and tone, it's silly how some media depicts GR as this growing monster with a guttural voice, the Rider is a extremely powerful spirit, he doesn't need to scream to be more edgy
"Welp, Thor just got knocked the fuck out. Nothing can save us now!" (Ghost Rider rides up) "Sup, Just gonna oneshot a God now." (Does so) "Send my check in the mail, bitches" (drives away)
But in fact Ghost Rider is a demon who beyond the 3rd dimension. And when he Unlocks the Blue flame, he is an Angel. He pretty much a mini Spectre at that point. He would easily fuck up Galactus, Superman, Avengers, and the whole lot.
I. Thorberg How come? He killed millions X1000 so he would have billions of innocent blood stained on his soul. Therefore Ghost Rider would be drawn to it like a moth to a flame, or in this case a crack head in a cocaine factory.
I. Thorberg To Ghost Rider anything that links to murder, in Galactus's case to feed on other planets, is considered sinful. Galactus wipes out entire civilisations of innocent lives and while he has no personal soul, the souls of those he takes fuel his power. Therefore there are still souls Ghost Rider can burn. Also i don't know you have been watching but you can clearly see Galactus is aware of his actions. To him it may be natural but to the organisms he feeds on he is a killer.
I. Thorberg True, unfortunately its not Galactus's place to decide Earth's fate. And thus if the people of earth want to fight to survive then they have every right to do so. even if it means possibly killing Galactus. And while he may have to kill to survive, Ghost Rider's demonic ego would feed on anything like that be it natural or not. He is drawn to where innocent blood is split like a predator after its next meal, and thus cannot resist to feed on the death Galactus has done. Sadly for Galactus his biology became his downfall to someone as deadly as Ghost Rider.
+I. Thorberg Personally I thought of it like being made to feel the pain of the billions of billions of microscopic organisms I murdered when I ate my sandwhich for lunch.
That's how GH should be depicted, not screaming like a generic monster. Richard Grieco is the perfect GH, hire him NetEase! Or at least hire a impersonator
FEEL THE TORMENT OF A BILLION BILLION EXTINGUISHED SOULS!!! EXPERIENCE THE PAIN, OF ETERNAL GUILT!!!! If I were Galactus , would be shitting out of every cavity in my body.
this looks so epic, so wrong, but so epic, i like the concep, i hope they take something similar for the movies, some enemy too storng for the avnegers and then boom Ghost Rider appears and saves the day
His power of the penance stare works by making you feel all the pain and suffering you've ever inflicted all at once, a d Galactus eats PLANETS. This was a one-time case.
And smart writers can keep it from being a cheap "gotcha"... you can write it as crippling cosmic beings by making them feel guilt for their actions, and on the flip side, some writers have portrayed it as not working if the victim can't see it, so, e.g. Venom wasn't affected because they "see" through the symbiote's senses instead of Brock's eyes.
It's arguably best against the LITERAL DEVOURER OF PLANETS. The amounts of suffering Galactus has inflicted is close to infinite. It is somewhat weird that Galactus even has a concept of "suffering" and similar mortal feelings. If you follow his actual lore he is a beeing as old as the universe and more akin to a cosmic natural desaster floating through space than an actual "person". He seems unusually human-like in this adaptation. And tiny ^^ He sometimes has the size of planets.
+Atocha Frank A 'no skill character' means someone that takes no skill to play. He's saying that Ghost Rider is actually exceptionally powerful to the extent that he's a gamebreaker.
I love how after Galactus was raping everybody for 10 minutes, Ghost Rider comes in for half a minute, wrecks Galactus, and just fucks off. What a badass.
God-Emperor of Mankind Pfft. The comics are all completely inconsistent in portraying Galactus and how powerful he is. You could probably make a 10-minute RU-vid just listing everyone who's beaten him up. That's stories for you.
I never finished the original TMNT series when I was a kid, but I had no idea Tony Jay joined as Lord Dregg for the final 2 seasons. He was also perfect as Baron Mordo in the 90s Spider-Man cartoon. The same thing can be said for him playing Virgil in Mighty Max. "I'm a fowl, not a chicken."
Holy shit. Ghost rider just moved up significantly on my favorite super heroes list. He's like, number five now and before this he wasn't even in the top twenty.
Marvel actually has very strong superheroes like ghost Rider and silver surfer but they are overlooked. These heroes can rape DC's strongest superheroes like superman, flash, wonder woman etc.
IT MAY BE AN OLD COMMENT, BUT FUCK! THE FIRST GHOST RIDER MOVIE WAS TOP AND HAD SOME COOL QUOTES! TASTE IS A FUCKING THING, THERE'S ALWAYS SOMEONE TRYING TO PUT THE OTHER DOWN.
When this happened on the tv, my brother and i stared in shock for a moment then literally stood up and cheered. Few cartoons ever get 1/1000th as epic as that scene was. It made my brother a ghostrider fan for life.
Thanos enjoys the penance stare, it gives him more power, which makes no sense so ghost rider can't use it against Thanos, still ghost rider has more abilities that can actually hurt Thanos unlike most avengers.
@@paulgentili1425 he's invincible unless thanos have a holy weapon then beating GR is out of question,GR even beat doctor strange and all the other avengers.
@@sneezebiscuits7239 Uhh, what? Thanos feels empathy, not apathy. As "cruel" as he may seem, he's definitely empathetic. And that would make him susceptible to the penance stare.
He does work of an angel of justice. So no matter who you are u won't be safe when faced to all of your sins at once. But Punisher had no regrets.. Damn he really doesn't play too
22myguy death by Ghost Rider may be the worst way to go but somehow it’s also the most badass way to go, I can’t explain my reasoning but I just feel it in my gut.
I never watched this show or anything, but when someone mentioned this to me, I thought, hey, good idea. In the books the penance stare can make sociopaths feel guilt for their crimes. Forcing Galactus into a black and white world world would cripple him.
On the one hand, this is both a Deus ex Machina and a Big-Lipped Alligator Moment, but on the other hand, Ghost Rider's voice sounds awesome, his style fits really well into a 90's cartoon, and the way he defeated Galactus so easily is pretty badass (although a bit dark for a kid's show)
Ghost rider is pretty overpowered but it takes some conditions to even run into him. He said he is only summoned when innocent blood is shed, him being summoned sounds like you must have deserved to be stopped. Then he possesses one of the most overpowered moves in marvel, the penance stare. You must have been a real wicked dude if you run into ghost rider, this is no game.
Galactus could possibly have some remains of the soul of Galan of Taa whom was created as the current Marvel Universe was created. As his Universe was collapsing the Sentience of the Universe revealed itself to Galan and they both fused, so the extent of Galan's soul in Galactus body is unknown. One possible clue that Glactus has a soul is the fact that he keeps his word, which in therms of cosmic beings above time and and space is irrelevant. And to all the people questioning Ghost Rider's speach he ment a quadrillion souls. Asuming the marvel universe is as old as ourself and using the most positive aproach of the Drake'es equation (that is 100 million civilizations in 100 million years) there have been 13,82 billion intelligent civilizations since the universe has been created and taking the infamous 107,602,707,791 number of poeple that have ever been born on earth (however rougly only between 1,8% and 6.5% currently lives on this planet) we get 1.47874e+18 intelligent souls from technologically advenced creatures in the universe. A quadrillion is roughly ten million times larger than the highest number possible if any person had never died ever. So yah... either Galactus eats from other universes as well via wormholes or something or Ghost Rider is a show off.
Little did Ghost Rider know that Galactus would one day be reincarnated as a certain power-hungry computer virus... Wait, Galactus IS voiced by Tony Jay, right?
Is this reason why Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze wasn't in Avengers Infinity War cause he was going to be able to take down Thanos that simple just as he did with Galactus.
While the intense, metallic snarl of the Cage movies definitely had charisma, I have to admit, the soft, calm, cold voice here makes me shiver. He's less heavy metal and more... well, ghostly.
I also like that the writers didn't just arbitrarily change how the stare works so that their heavy hitter could shrug it off. That seems to be a thing people are doing a lot of.
The reason GR isn't called in to stop EVERY villain ever? Because that is OP as fuck! Think about it, what do bad guys do? He could literally just come in and stop 90% of the bad guys with that.
Kirby liked to draw colossal figures standing in space, standing on Earth, wherever he could use perspective and context to suggest an impossibly huge intelligence.
His Harold poisoned him, and he was slowly dying. He fought and killed the Harold on Earth and even though he had sworn to spare the earth he needed to feed. Ghost Rider came along and smoked his ass with a Mike Tyson uppercut. Thor used Mjolnir to keep him alive, the girl torch became Nova and Reed found Galactus planets devoid of life. And with that Galactus renewed his vow to spare the Earth.
“Ghost Rider? I thought he was a myth?” Sure Johnny. You live in a world where the devourer of worlds, the Norse and Greek Gods, a guy who shoots webs and super powered Psychopaths roam the streets. Of course the spirit of vengeance is the most unbelievable thing you’ve come across.
I feel like this scene severely underplays what happens. If Ghost Rider showed Galactus even a small percentage of the lives he's ended, then the guilty would be devastating . Even if to Galactus those "people" were less than insects to him, the screaming would still be too much. I mean imagine being shown several times your body weight in ants, all of which you've killed. Even if they are just ants, given a good look at their individual little faces.
Ghost Rider shows up, judges and one shots fucking GALACTUS, refuses to elaborate and dips Ghost Rider really gets slept on, on just how broken and powerful he really is
When a cheesy-ass 90's cartoon has a better understanding of how the Penance Stare works than some comic writers do now. "The Penance Stare only works on people who feel guilt" is and will always be absolute fucking bullshit and a cheap, lazy way of giving a character a way to challenge GR.
In the comics, Dr. Strange does something similar. He casts a spell that forces Galactus to witness every death he has ever caused - the effect basically renders Galactus catatonic.
