The absolute coolest part of this is the fact that you dont do anything crazy and/or game-breaking. You dont use speed or jump glitches, dont even so much as dash slide, you stay in-bounds, you dont save skip, the list goes on. You dont rush, you take your time but are still extremely efficient. You do everything the way it was inteded to be done, and you do it flawlessly. I respect this more than the speedrunners, because they basically cheese the whole game, while you play honestly.
ehh idk, i wouldve liked to see some dash sliding, it doesnt really break the game and isnt that cheesy. plus its believable because that's prolly something a cyberninja could do
A bit late here but, mate, their "cheesing" goes a long fucking way full of sweaty long sessions of trying and retrying to execute sometimes extremely difficult processes (known as glitches, bug uses, etc.). If you've ever watched any speedrunner not actually speedrunning a game but trying to perfectly execute every glitch, every skip they want you wouldn't say "cheesing" like it's easy to do. Speedrunning actually on par with playing the game honestly, say, with no deaths or similar goals, and much more difficult to speedrun a game with no deaths cuz you have to be fast on top of making as little mistakes as possible.
Besides, ig you're talking about any% category, while there isn't just one category but many different ones. Glitchless, for example, speaks for itself but just to clarify, any bug abuse or any glitch is forbidden in that category. There's also 100% category which ain't easy either, but just so you know, there are "honest" speedruns.
It truly is amazing that Jack managed to topple Mara's coup-regime, gain individuality and bring justice to Dharma Tower in less than two hours. It shows how powerful a Ghostrunner can be at their peak.
Just beat the game. It was a real nut twister at first but when I started getting the hang of it.. and getting good and cool at it, sweet baby Jesus. So fun, can't wait for the sequel. And amazing gameplay dude, especially towards the end.
I've watched this through probably 20 times now. I find it comforting, I'm not sorry. And still every time I'm amazed by the skill, and laugh a bit that some of the game dialog can't finish in a deathless run.
wow I've just finished beating the game, it's insane to see your gameplay. I've died more than a hundred times on that f$¨! laser elevator guardian, to see you kill it in one shot was quite amazing. Keep it up!
I play on switch, and watching this gameplay seems to be unreal for me, im dead like 200x times per chapter and you have 0 for all, that is more impresive than speed runners :D Great vid 👌😎
I just completed this game, and for this guy to clear the game within 2 hours without dying is an epic accomplishment. It got to be one of the wildest feats in gaming.
I was thinking of purchasing this game for playing but I’ve never heard of anyone talking about it. Found this insane gameplay!! I know I’ll eventually suck at it, but it’s just damn cool and pumping soundtracks as well!! Kudos bro for the mad gameplay!
Finally completed the game , I love Parkour games like Assassin's Creed, but this one is the best . I wanted to play mirror's edge , but I am glad I chose this one . Died about 1000 times total , still love it
Ik this is a late comment but thank you for playing this game I really love seeing gameplay like this can’t even say like this because your on your own level of gameplay but I enjoy it always gonna get a like from me
Did you know that the Architect was in process of being human during the entire game he just didn't want to tell ghostrunner untill now that he wants control.
Unpopular opinion: The soundtrack of the first game is better than the second game, not saying the second game's is bad in any way. Its a 8.5 for me. But the first game's is undoubtedly a 9.
Not to brag but I played this game today for the first time and I died no less the 62 times in the first level. [My pc is brand new and I have never played any high end games before this]
As far as I'm concerned this is how it actually went. Also I still have flashbacks about that corridor at 37:23, and you just ran through like it was nothing.
Your maneuvering skills are unreal! You make the most frustrating wallrunning part with ease! I'm curious: which part was the hardest for you to master?
Nah, this game is far from trash. But it's so damn hard. You do need a lot of skill to do well. I completed it, but overall I died god-knows-how-many times.
This game is not crap, but it is also not a masterpiece as I read some others. The music is good, but nothing we haven't heard in other futuristic or dystopian titles. The same for the graphics and the ambient. The terrible thing about this game, as it is seen more and more in the games, is an inflated difficulty so that people don't realize that we are facing an absurdly short game with a little worked story. If you have died 100 times per chapter and at the end of the game you see that it has cost you 8 hours, you think that the game lasts that, and it is not like that. Platforms aren't difficult, the cheaters enemies with auto-aiming are. I have passed the Cuphead (excellent and brilliant), and the Bloodborne in addition to others considered difficult, and this one does not have a real difficulty, but an artificial one, a fact that makes the game lose many quality points. Greetings to all.
This game. I love everything about it, except that fact that I can't even get through the tutorial level lol The only game I've ever gotten stuck like this. Awesome video. Thanks!
You know, this really puts into perspective of how Ghostrunners are scary. As that one lady stated (forgot her name) how they are throwing everything at Jack but it does little to stop him. I know all of the Ghostrunners are dead but one is scary seeing how capable they can be. Two together, or four, a dozen or more. Its kind of like the Tennos in Warframe in a way.
Very impressive run. Took me LOTS of tries 😂😅 but i did it. And im proud. Too me more like 14 hours to complete. A lot of that time is figuring out a good route to the next door
Did you segment this run? I couldn't see you put the reflect skill in your chipset between the second and third levels. I mean, regardless this is an amazing feat nonetheless.
Epic. Respect. But the loading screen/end screen of echo's did say 1 death. So. Not really no death. But nonetheless better than my 2463 deaths in This game 😅
It depends on the levels. My default upgrade would be Aim Time Boosts, Deflect: Reflect and Extra Dash. Sometimes, if the level had a lot of fodder enemies, I would opt for Tempest: Multikill Refund because it will instantly refund the focus spent killing more than 2 enemies
