I couldn't find any tutorial for gr2 and since i'm literally just starting with this kind of games I found pleasant finding this one so.. thank you for that buddy
I’m guessing it was a wall kick storage but I was doing the mission where you have to jump through lasers and get to the top. Well I died probably 170 times bc I was trying to go super fast. Since I was trying to go fast all the time I would dash slide every time I spawned. I was able to replicate it a few times but would fly up almost all the way to the top but I would hit the laser before I could see how high I could go. This was the only place I was able to do it but I was able to fly really high
I also use the dash and angle myself sideways since in dash mode you go very quick sideways. And at last moment i quickly look in the right direction and actually dash. I can get very big jumps this way
So while messing around with mechanics I did find something that I am curious why it isn't used or if it's something that just hasn't been tried yet, if you do a slidehop and boost forward and down you can actually attain higher speeds than a traditional boosted slide hop while doing it constantly and due to using the boost you can do this around corners with some practice. Also can lead to phasing through the ground or walls if done right. (Might have yeeted myself out of levels a few times while practicing it) On top of that holding to the side while doing a slidehop causing you to move diagonally seems to give you a tiny bit more speed as well, that one might just be me though. Edit: Just adding a little detail.
@@JanisSG Yeah, I can try, I don't have an actual way to check the speeds so it might just be that it feels faster but I won't know until someone can confirm the speeds you can achieve with it. I'll reply again once I have the video up.
@@JanisSG Yeah, I know, I wasn't really sure how to explain, so I got a clip of me doing it and then using the normal slidehop midway to show the difference, I'm no speedrunner obviously but I still like to attempt to learn the mechanics.
@@crazydied2792 I mean, you dnt have to be speedrunner to enjoy speedtech. IT is easy enough to learn and it makes this games experience so much better
how do you realod a checkpoint super fast? i saw this in runs to save time but i dont know how :D i do it with esc and then press *realoed last checkpoint* but that cant be it?
