I'm not alone when I say we NEED an Elite Giant Gonzales in the Legends line!! They could even do an El Gigante as the chase! I was able to pick up a Giant Gonzales and Harvey Wippleman Classic SS 2-Pack, and GG remains one of my favorite figs of all time. Awesome video bud!!
Series 16 of classic superstars was a great series to collect got all of my figures from my local toys r us and K Mart I found powers of pain and giant Gonzales in one trip to the local stores I love it great video my man
I would love if Mattel gave us either of these guys. Both of them in the Legends line would be amazing. Giant Gonzalez would be an amazing deep cut. I would love to be able to add Sycho Sid to my collection as well. The one thing that GG had going from him is that he made The Undertaker look small, and that is something most people simply cannot do.
Top 10 idea: best Jakks figures that fill a hole and/or fit in with your Elite Legends collection. Giant Gonzales is a good one. I've got a Brooklyn Brawler that gets the job done. Even in the case of someone like Akeem, his Jakks figure is way cheaper and the scale works well seeing he is a large dude.
I've made many mistakes in my collecting life and one of them was not buying Giant Gonzalez. What a great figure. I think I'd become workrate snob by then and couldn't have him in my collection. Something stupid like that. I skipped Sid too but more because the lack of knee pads annoyed me. That was always a pet peeve for me with Jakks. Hopefully Mattel can help me out and make a Giant Gonzalez. I'll buy two, I promise. I do have that Sid referee figure but I definitely be up for more Sids.
Yeah I would have skipped GG too back in the day if I would have been collecting around this time. Now I would LOVE a GG Mattel figure. I felt Zeus was the dumbest thing ever and now I have his Elite figure and he was a must for me lol I love the really dumb ideas that made it to figure form. The Shockmaster, The Goon, The Shark, The Zodiac. Love them all!!!! :)
@@heisensaul5538 That's exactly how I am now. I love Flair, Bret, Stone Cold, HBK but how many figures of them can you have? I have too many already. But those goofy gimmick figures are rare and just fun to look at. I think I discovered this when I got the Doink UE and absolutely loved it. Can't wait for that Amazon Gobbledy Gooker now.
@@Jeffrey519 AS far as goofy characters go, The Goon, The Shockmaster, The Zodiac, and the Shark are among my favorites. As far as Steve Austin goes, I dont need anymore. I have the evolution of his in ring career from Sutnning Steve in the Dangerous Alliance to his time as WWF Champ Stone Cold. As much as I love Steve Austin, I dont need anymore of his figures.
@@heisensaul5538 Love the Goon figure. Missed out on Zodiac unfortunately but that's a cool figure too. I feel like I'm done with Stone Cold but I'll probably want the new Elite from the KO match. That was so much fun.
@@Jeffrey519 When I heard about the Zodiac, I bought two off of Ringside Collectables. I had to have him lol As far as Steve Austin goes, I dont feel like I need another one. I have Stunning Steve from the Dangerous Alliance (Elite 100), Hollywood Blonds Steve Austin (Elite 81) The Ringmaster (WWF Network Spotlight) and Stone Cold Steve Austin (Ultimate Edition). I just don't feel it's necessary to get anymore after I have the 3 most important points in his evolution to Stone Cold and being WWF Champion.
Ok, so my recollection could be wrong but I thought the sid variant came because they gave him boxing boots for the first run, and then they switched to the "Drago" boxing boots to make him taller?
@@KylePeterson1980 I'm probably wrong, could just be some wishful thinking talk that went down on the WFboards lol... I just threw big show boots on mine and never looked back
