People are really overreacting to the windows ai nonsense and are coming from such a place of lack of knowledge it's scary. Causing a bunch of nonsense from employees to IT management over nothing. 🙄🤦♂️
Nah, Linux is such a small percentage of users. sure it might be like 5% of gigabyte's DIY users but thats not worth writing drivers twice unless they already have to for their server skus. Im a Fedora user btw
@@jgould30 Like when Microsoft runs a second PC on your PC and sends data to server farms for "security." Perfectly normal and everyone should feel fine about it.
dude, your audio and video is always so crisp, dialed, and on point! Thankyou for that! hahah. Great content as always too. All i'm missing is when you open the video with " HAY GEEA SEEKAZ" - ausi accent. hahah Love it
For Real though you've had some of the best coverage and looked like your having fun. Even the sponsors music and visuals of the building in Taipei absolutely beautifully done.
Legend! "Don't care" Love how some of the others covered the sockets with elaborate plexi shields. Gigabyte though? Insulating tape, hopes, and wishes.
I have been using Linux for years now and like Gigabyte, this is the way to go😎👌🏻 Have had a Windows 10 gaming server, but after this Rollback app, I will go All Linux.
I'd be running Linux as my daily right now, if it weren't for two things: horrible gaming support, and I couldn't get Xfinity streaming to work. In my latest attempt maybe six years ago or so, I had the Manjaro distro as my daily for three months. I took a break from games and it was working well for me, except for Xfinity streaming. I gave it three months to get that working, but no joy. There were also little niggling issues like I could set the default refresh rate to 144Hz but the setting wouldn't save - it would always revert back to 60Hz. But that problem wasn't exclusive to Manjaro - it affected every distro when I ran the proprietary nvidia drivers.
I've been on Linux since 2009, dual booting on the gaming systems and full Linux for everything else. Since Valve released Proton, I've actually been able to run all my games on Ubuntu or Manjaro. Haven't looked back
That is one of the best looking motherboard designs I've seen. Now if they'd just give us something like that with no audio section, no wifi, and dual 10Gbe NICs, we'd be golden.
*Yo!!! I subscribed this guy is WILD! He literally revealed Intels secret like it was nothing! Lets save it before Gigabyte and Intel remove this video lol*
Trying to hide socket 1851 and yet leave it labelled around everywhere strikes me as a silly PR attempt to me. 😅 A way to get more news coverage of "leaks".
I loved the project stealth when Gigabyte showed it. Not sure why they allowed ASUS and MSI to get in before them. I will go back connector’s with my next builds but I’m drawn to Asus just because they have no gpu power cable. It’s the only “complete “ package in my eyes. I hope Asus get their RMA issues resolved by the time I buy from them…………
I'm a fan of Gigabyte Aorus and I always wanted Asus rog strix x670e-e but gamers having issues with them Asus, so I brought Gigabyte Aorus x670e Master and am happy with it, for GPU I'll be getting Gigabyte Aero 4080 super instead of Asus because Asus has coil whine issues
it will be hard to fit a camm2 module with the rotated socket unless everything moves further down and all AI is run on linux even the windows ai is best run through wsl
Would Gigabyte pick up customers if they started making motherboard software that ran natively in Linux? Well they'd pick me up as a customer, so that's one. At this moment I'm plotting a 9950-X on an Asroc thaichi lite, but that's not set in stone. I'm open to being bribed.
its gigabyte = other than bios, trust me, you dont want their software - its bad enough they infect Windows with it, you want them to also gaze over at Linux? you must be a linux hater.
Well, I can sey that if Gigabyte give us drivers for their boards, I probably get a gigabyte board for my next PC. Most of linux users uses linux to work, and if they don't have a xbox or playstation, the same computer boot into windows to game. So, common, we just want companies to help Linux Kernel guys and give then drivers for their devices, without need of reverse enginnering.
If you've not done Asrock yet, can you ask them why they've not had any 10Gbe boards yet when they're one of the few vendors offering ecc support for AM5?
Honestly guys Linux is better for most use cases. It's just so much nicer to use. Unless you need some specific software (or game)... no reason to use Windows anymore.
Asrock and MSI I am not sure about Gigabyte, they had too much oops! don't even think about anything from Asus. Support Linux thats WOW hope it will work well.
They are all oops issues Asrock, MSI, Gigabyte and Asus. Nothing is perfect. Let's say Asus GPU has bad coil whine, MSI GPU is boring and low performance, Gigabyte is cool and quiet. ASUS motherboard failed hard, MSI is ok, Asrock is cool and Gigabyte Aorus is crazy cool, Asus case is cool, MSI case is ok, Gigabyte Aorus case is cool, Asus keyboard is wow Rog Azoth Extreme, MSI keyboard sucks, Gigabyte Aorus keyboard none, Asus monitors is cool, MSI monitors boring, Gigabyte Aorus monitors is wow crazy
@@TheShadiboy1 yea right. I read reddit bout all itx motherboard for AMD and yes soo many complaints about so many thinks. I want buy mini itx but It's so difficulty now.
Alright fine, gigabyte motherboards for linux. If this is true, they might be the first manufacturer to actually have working rgb and such on linux without third party software like openrgb.
The really funny thing is that they're doing a qlora on an 8b model which should take oh, about 16 out of the 192gb of vram😂 btw, if your'e doing research, you should ask AMD why flash_attn is set to false on those AI workstation cards...
Lmao! I got to see the socket! I heard they made him edit it out of his video! Total bullshit! I came back to verify the edit! Thats fucked up! Boo Intel and Gigabyte....
Probably will get downvoted but still. Wonder where the feeling is coming from that content creators are entitled. "I want this workstation board handed to me so I can build a pc I don't really need just to edit videos". If you need stuff buy it like everyone else, business expense and such. "Ooh shiny new graphics card, looks cool, send a few over pretty please". There is a bit of joking in it, I get that but it doesn't really add much. Love the content otherwise.
