I think Rashad just didn't word it correctly. He said he wanted Bronny to "solidify" his career in college before taking the plunge which I took to be to "build his legacy" in college. This might give Bronny something to look back into in case it doesn't pan out in the NBA. Rashad's correct, if Bronny flames out in the NBA, he will just be forever known as an anonymous player or worse, that dude who made it into the league because of his dad,. If he comes back and wins something in college, he can proudly say "I did that" - In a way the same as how McCants looks at his career.
