A 3 1/2 minute standing O when Gilbert got onto the ice before Seymour started talking, that's Buffalo fan passion. Same thing occurred for RJ night.

At retirement he was in the top-10 for career goals but is only #43 currently. He really deserved better than what he got over the years in Buffalo. One early run to the finals and not much after that, going "down with the ship" in his final two years when they didn't make the playoffs back in the days of a 21-team league and a 16-team playoff.
