Yeah that was clearly too hot to cut. You have to let them cool a bit just like a dessert pie. If you cut them before they cool all the insides will run out
Every Italian: that's not a pizza. Every German: that's not sausage. (Wow, thanks for the variety of great responses and plays on this little joke - I hope you all enjoy your pizzas 😉🍕)
I can tell you exactly why the crust is golden hued. It's orange egg yolks. It gives the pizza crust that gold color and gives the crust a better browning. I bet if you see the bottom of the crust it is a nice crispy brown color.
I hope that’s right. I also think butter gets folded in to the dough with kneading and also sugar for signature flavour and flakiness and to help the yeast during proofing
@@Andywmm9where do you get your eggs? You know Walmart sells them but doesn’t lay them right? Chickens lay eggs, fish, eggs, snakes, alligators, so why not oranges lol
because it is cut doesn't mean it isn't fresh. They could have easily used a deli slicer to cut it off the block right before this or have it cut for them by a local supplier.
This is what I hate about shorts, you miss something or just have a lapse in concecration for a second, you read a comment that mentions something you'd want to see again, and then you gotta sit through the entire thing again just to get to it.
My kind of pizza. I'm on the west coast but there is an Italian restaurant in my city started in 1974 by a man that grew up on the South Side. Been to Chitown and their deep-dish is every bit as good. They do a stuffed too 😋
U forgot one thing I would've pulled them close by the shirt and in their ear I would've been like........ now ima need you to add tons more marinara space and tons more cheese and some pepperoni on top .....or we gon have some problems....
Michelle & Dale Cannon - NY is known for thin crust pizza. Jon Stewart has been a VEGAN for over 7 years. If he was eating Chicago pizza instead of NY, he would only be vegan on non-pizza days. Hahaha
They jumped 🫡for the cheese. For the pull. 😢But most importantly, they did it for the Gram. God speed ye wasted sausage and sauce, your sacrifice will be forgotten before I finish this poop.
@@JTrain11 ...it's a chain...with locations as widespread as singapore...chains aren't landmarks...is the original dominos in michigan also a landmark to you? and let's pretend and say it is a landmark...it's a tourist landmark, which is the saddest possible type of landmark. this place looks nasty and that cheese pull is an abomination. if you don't believe me, look at 90% of these comments and the laughable like/dislike ratio. but yeah, *_I'M_* the one who doesn't know what I'm talking about 😂🤣😂🤣
I have had their pizzas in the 70 s And it was fantastic it has not changed either it is still fantastic I have to tell you when you get a chance to go to Chicago and get yourself one you will not regret it but bring some French you are not gonna be able to eat the whole thing by yourself if you do my hats off to you enjoy
@@Tumbleweed36 is that a thing? Wait! Is that why pizzas that are delivered are always more structurally sound then the ones I go and pickup and eat immediately in my car in the way home?
I made one last night but it was Lou Malnatti style with shredded and sliced mozerella. Twas absolutely bomb. Also, my guess as to the reason it's a golden hue is they may incorporate a processed corn or egg yolk ingredient whether it be corn flour or whatever else.
It is the problem i have with some Chicago pizzas. The cheese usually serves as a binding agent but that is generally impossible when the pie is several inches thick. If you can deep throat a pizza vertically then probably best to use a fork.
@@calebmcintosh6698 have you ever seen fresh mozzarella? Actual fresh mozzarella is way to soft to slice like that. Either they showed the wrong cheese while saying that and didn't show all of the cheeses or they are a little deceptive about their ingredients
As a Chicagoan male in my mid 50s , all I remember growing up in the 70s we used to call this tourist deep dish pizza. The real Chicago pizza is the thin crust Tavern style pizza cut in squares , now you’re talking about the real original Chicago Pizza.👍
@@ikmalhilmi0740 You're @ me when they're saying a pizza isn't a pizza, it's a pie? Pizza is flat bread with toppings. That's an open sandwich, not a pie.
@@muscledgamer946 yes, and pushing the meat in there like that, as a chef, I personally would never do anything like that. I would give that big round thing at lightsheer on each side and then put it in. That fat needs to be rendered down properly
I have an awful concussion, just woke up after being randomly passed out for seven hours, I am puking, hate Italian and pizza, and this is the first thing I see. I don’t know what tf this awful thing is but I’m about to puke again typing this.
