Hier hat sich wirklich jemand Gedanken gemacht. Bereits nach den ersten Takten weiß man, das wird eine spezielle Interpretation. Voller Spannung, mit hochinteressanten Stimmungswechseln, mit einer besonderen Atmosphäre. Ein Genuss, vom ersten bis zum letzten Ton. Selten hab ich dieses doch noch etwas unausgegorene Werk, wie einst jemand attestierte, so spannend gehört. Ein Pianist, den es definitiv zu verfolgen gilt...

"Half-baked"? Perhaps because he had mental problems Robert Schumann could see further into the future. Clara a great pianist and good composer shared the tyrannical opposition of her father to their marriage. Giorgi was good in his beautiful, short recital yesterday (Radio 3) when he sang beautifully in one item (Kancheli "Mimino/Yellow Leaves"). Here he is, once more, equally brilliant in the virtuoso and the lyrical. Thank you.
