Deliberately picked a Monday to do this on. Partly because I already wrote #fuckmonday and #makemondayyourbitch on the sign, partly due to the Monday notoriously being eeeveryone's most favourite day of the week.
Of course one major purpose of this activity was to get out of my comfort zone just a little bit more, because yet again, when waving around a sign in a public place, you are drawing attention to yourself. Two years ago my friend and I did the same thing, but back then we stood here together. Doing something together always make it less 'scary' imo.
Hugging is nice. We humans thrive on social interaction and need it to be happy. Maybe a warm hug would be able to brighten up someone's day too. I hope so. You all brightened up my day for sure and I'm considering doing this every damn week.
